Welcome to Bear Mountain #1

Her Beary Spicy Valentine

Rate this book
Hi, I’m Holly, and about six weeks ago, I realized I was a side character in one of those cheesy Christmas movies where a naive, pretty heroine visits a small town, falls for some rando she just met, and decides to stay forever.

Yeah, that sappy romance cliche? She’s my little sister. So when she stops answering my calls and texts, I take time off from my big-city job to track her down and drag her out of the cult—I mean, charming small mountain town where she’s decided to settle for good.

But when I arrive, instead of finding my sister, I meet three very large, very intense men:

An insanely handsome but ridiculously stern Canadian Mountie who orders me to go home immediately—before it’s “too late.” (Too late for what? No clue. He just glares at me when I ask.)
A rough biker outlaw who keeps audibly sniffing at me like I’m his next meal.
And a huge guy who looks like a modern Viking in lumberjack flannel. He actually seems super nice…until he punches the outlaw for getting too close.
Things only get weirder from there:
A bar fight. A bear mauling that I’ll never unsee. Then suddenly, I’m waking up naked in a jail cell with a strange, tingling bite on my arm—and three guys throwing around words like “claim,” “mate,” and “cubs.”

So, yeah… I don’t think I’m a side character in a cheesy Christmas movie anymore. In fact, I might have stumbled into my own…
Beary.
Spicy.
Valentine.

Welcome to Bear Mountain…

Warning: This beary spicy novella includes a cozy mountain town where males mate in threes, a trio of shifters who think you smell like an entire box of Valentine’s Day chocolates, and lots and lots of biting. Don’t worry about packing a bag—these bears will keep you warm for the rest of winter.

This is my 3rd ever dnf and my first ARC that i dnf'd and I'm feeling so bad... but i just couldn't anymore. I absolutely hated every single part of this book... and I would say it's my fault because I didn't know what I was getting myself into...
It was just so weird that I just couldn't keep reading.

I will not rate it because it is a dnf, but if I finished this book it wouldn't be more than 1.75-2⭐️

Recently divorced from a self!sh man who crushed her self-esteem, midwife Holly has driven hours from her Vancouver home in response to a bizarre message she received from her sister, who Holly fears is in danger. After a bizarre encounter with a local Mountie who incites more questions than answers, she heads to the local tavern where all h3ll breaks loose. Unwanted attention from several patrons has her fleeing for her life and she sustains serious injury.

RCMP Sergeant and bear shifter Takoda is still salty about his brother very recently forming a maul with a human and two other shifters, having not sought Takoda’s counsel nor offered him to join them. Struck immobile at the reaction his bear has to the luscious and feisty human Holly demanding information about her elusive sister, he drives her out of the station and shortly thereafter out of the tavern.

RCMP rookie and human turned grizzly shifter Leif was certain he was as3xual up until the moment he spied Holly at the bar. Only problem? A very large parolee biker bear shifter tries to claim her as well.

At the tavern to pass the metaphorical torch to his MC VP as part of his rehabilitation, ex-con and natural born bear shifter Hawk understands immediately that Holly is his mate, and is willing to fight for her, which is how he ends up in a jail cell with Leif, locked in by their third male Takoda.

While their pecking order is being established, (or in Takoda’s case, denied) Holly is struggling to come to terms with everything.

As outside forces thr3aten the foursome and the entire community, will the family Holly’s always wanted be just another broken dream? Or will love conquer all?

This was a fun, spicy, paranormal why choose of which I was furnished an advance reader copy by Valentine PR, and I’m pleased to share my honest review.

Thank you to Valentine PR and Theodora Taylor for an eARC of Her Beary Spicy Valentine in exchange for my honest review! 3.5 stars.

Holly was a solid FMC with tons of reason why she shouldn't trust anyone, much less three bear shifters. Holly shows up to Bear Mountain in search of her sister who, while telling Holly she was ok, went radio silent on her. Holly does end up finding her sister but she also finds three mates in the form of bear shifters.

Takoda the grumpy Mounty, Hawk the ex criminal, and Leif the sweetest man with a secret. They each bring something different to the table for Holly and I loved that they loved her.

This is a super quicky, spicy, kind of surface level book while still being entertaining.

I do wish it would have dived deeper into each other characters and didn't "tell" so much. I would have loved certain POVs of instances that weren't given as the ending seemed a tad bit rushed. This one had the potential to break me and then put me back together if we'd have gone a little deeper into the characters.

It's an absolutely spicy read!!

I don't know how I missed this series by Ms. Taylor. But I'm so glad I found them. This series is fire!! 🔥🔥🔥

Holly, after her world crumbled under her feet by her douchbag ex husband, she sets off to find her sister Noelle at Bear Mountain. Little did she know her life was about to change in more ways than she ever knew or expected.

While trying to find her sister Noelle, Holly would encounter the 3 men who would forever change the course of her life. Koda, Hawk, and Leif. Three bear shifters with their own drama-filled pasts. But the minute they immediately recognized who and what Holly was, it changed everything. Koda knew Holly was trouble the moment she stepped into the RCMP station. They immediately had a "I don't like you," but there's something about your vibe. Koda wanted Holly gone. But when the heart wants what it wants, whether it's in bear form or human form.

This book had me in my feelings right from the minute Holly butted heads with Koda. What a jerk! Hawk was fine a hell. The chemistry between him and Holly was so hot they really needed a fire extinguisher at the ready at all times. But Leif is what made this book such a pleasure as well as fun to read. His character was that sweetheart, that special guy you could love on day and night and not get tired or bored. This book superseded my expectations. Especially Koda! That man showed up and showed out for Holly when she needed him most.

This book was absolutely amazing and a definite must-read. I highly recommend it for all paranormal romance book lovers.

3.5⭐️

I definitely need to read more shifter romances because this was a lot of fun!!

This story follows recently divorced Holly, as she travels hours to track down her suddenly uncontactable younger sister. During her search of the town she meets a stern Mountie, an intimidating outlaw and a huge lumberjack looking Viking. Suddenly she finds herself at the centre of a steamy relationship with three men, who also happen to shift into bears, and are talking about mates and claims 👀

I really liked all of our main characters and appreciated that despot the short length of the book, that we got a lot of character building as well as a good bit of character progression. Holly’s concerns were all so valid, I don’t know that I’d trust a sudden bond with strangers and think it would mean forever!

The only downside for me was the reluctance that some of the characters had towards the relationship while still engaging in sexual activity due to the mating ritual that had started, that felt icky. Please be warned of this, it stretches into reluctance/dubcon to me. I would have liked if they’d had more of an opportunity to explain things first so that Holly knew about what she was getting in to.

Thank you to ValentinePR for providing me with an eARC in return for an honest review.

Wow! I absolutely loved this book. Amazing characters and wonderful plot. Very beautifully written and easy to read.

I read this book in one sitting and I loved every second of it. The chemistry and passion between Holly and her bears was undeniable and sizzling. She was made for them.

Overall I loved this book very much. If you’re looking for a FMMM, why choose, fated mates, mountain romance then you’re going to love it.

Theodora Taylor knocked it out of the park with this spicy, why choose, shifter story!

I loved that Holly was looking for her sister and the dedication to her she had! I was cracking up at the first meeting of Takod and I loved that she pushed his buttons!

I think my favorite part of the story was how different all of the MMCs were and how they each gave Holly something different!

My first thought of this book once I finished it was "Wait what! Noo, I read through this too quickly."😭

This book has left me very satisfied, and sad that I finish reading it as quickly as I did.

I enjoyed reading this book and cannot wait to jump into the next one. I have a couple of questions, that I'm hoping the second book will be able to answer. I also have one complaint about this book. But maybe it's more of a suggestion.

There are a couple of words that were used in the first couple chapters and it was very confusing trying to figure out what this word meant. It's not until later that you discover what these words mean, and I wish it was explained earlier.
I want to say that I was impatiently waiting to find out. But reading it without knowing the meaning, made it all too confusing. I found myself writing comments and notes, on what it could possibly mean.

My suggestion to Theodora Taylor is to have a page, in the beginning, that explains what some of the words mean. That way the readers can look back at it to use it as a reference.

I decided that in this review, just in case someone reads it before reading this story, I'll include the words and the meaning behind them. That way someone who is like me, slightly impatient, who wants to know what it means, will have an idea.

Context Words:

•Maul Bond
A bond that includes 3 people who are not romantically attracted to one another but agree to share 1 mate. (ex: 3 Men and 1 Woman or 3 Women & 1 Man etc.)
This is different from “Mates Bond” in which everyone included in the bond is sexually romantic with one another.

•PathKeeper
Shifter Doctor

•Fresh Bite
Newly turn Shifter

•Estrus
Female in heat

Hopefully, this was helpful to those that need it. 😊

Now let's get more into this review, I enjoy Noelle, Mak, Cody, and Ash. These characters bring in such a warm feel on this snowy day. (That’s if you’re experiencing snow, as I am when you’re reading this book.)

My most enjoyable part is when Noelle tells her ex about himself. How he wasn’t a factor on her mind when she was put on suspension, because of him. To give more context, he thought she would come begging to his doorstep, for him to forgive her for when she broke up with him for cheating on her, also because he was abusive. The disbelief and anger that he felt were more than satisfying. I had a great laugh and hoped that she would slap him around for a bit. Sadly, she didn’t but what happens after was even more satisfying and justifiable.

As for the 3 ML (Male Lead’s), I thought I would not care for Mak.

Mak comes off as very rude. If not for the fact, that you get the chance to see from his point of view, I think I would be put off by how he acts. But because you have a better understanding of him, you’ll want to hug him and tell him that it’s not his fault.

I enjoy how Cody is cute and playful, and how Ash is the sexy nerdy one of the groups. All three combined give off a big brother and little brother type of feel.

This book is very much a Goldie Locks and the Three Bears. Or should we say Cocoa Bean and the Three Bears.😂❤️ (Cocoa Bean is a nickname Cody gives Noelle.)

This is one book that you can cuddle up to, with a cup of Hot Chocolate or Spicy Hot Coffee. 😘

Enjoy!💕

A fun, cute, steamy (not the best spice, but spicey enough) story that makes for a good selection if you're in the mood for a light read.

Though it is a light read, I do personally wish that there was a bit more depth to the plot itself. Not too much more as I was not in the mood for a heavy or serious read, I just wish the author did a little more digging so I could care about each of the characters' traumas/problems a bit more. Everything was so surface-level when it came to discussing/showing the insecurities and problems each of the MC's struggled with, that I did not connect with them like I would have liked to. But, that's just personal preference. Like I said it's a light read, so the author is technically right on track in that area.

Be warned, this story does have a tendency to overuse descriptions.

Like with the scents, for example. I got tired of reading about the 3 MMC's describing the FMC's scent as caramel being wrapped in chocolate every few pages and vice versa with her describing them and their individual scents. It became a bit annoying after a while.

Also, it has some cringy/corny moments as well.

The sisters reuniting at the end is a good example. I mean shrugging like Steve Urkel (literally what the author wrote) when your sister sees you're pregnant after ya'll have been MIA from each other for months...really? As an author you give a "Did I do thaaat?" type of vibe to close things out quickly...really? Cringe😣😆

But still, all-in-all, this was a fun, easy read that you'll finish in one sitting so I definitely can recommend it as a book to get out of a reading slump (which is what I did).

𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲! 🐻🍫💞✨

First off, I wanna thank Valentine PR and Theodora Taylor for giving me an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: ⭐⭐⭐⭐•𝟓

This was a quick yet wholesome read. It started out downright chaotic, lol, and if I were in Holly's shoes, I would've gone crazy—heck, she almost did but understandably so. Although in some parts, I wanted to scream at her and be like Girl, stop hurting them! You DESERVE this! LET THEM LOVE YOU! But thankfully, my baby, Hawk, talked some sense into her. 🥹

Hawk was hands-down my favorite character, followed by my puppy, Leif. I LOVE how the author portrayed him as this person with so much depth to him. He wasn't just an ex-con who resolved matters with his fists, he was a reader—baby boy was literally quoting Ralph Waldo Emerson, Mariah Carey, and (I especially loved this honorary mention because one of his books is on my TBR) Travis Baldree. He was the epitome of the saying, “don't judge a book by its cover.”

Oh and Leif. Goodness, that tidbit of info about him in the end was sooooo unexpected and I loved it! Like who would've thought. And he's such an adorable puppy, gosh. 🥹🫶🏽

This novella, as a whole, was heartwarming and I'm sure that if it'd been a full-length book, I'd have bawled my eyes out at some point. It was so good.

You're gonna enjoy this one if you love tropes like:

2.5 But It Always Gets Weird

I DNF at 87%. I used to LOVE TT books, even though they always had this weird “white people are automatically beautiful and every Black character is all ‘no one should like me because I’m BLACK and heavy and gross, but this fine-featured Swede thinks I’m sexy,’” 🤮 undertone. And every Black character felt like it was written by a white woman who married a Black man and thinks she’s making Black women feel good about themselves by making white men love them in her books even though they are technically unloveable being all Black and nappy-headed (but usually sporting some horrible tacky weave based on the descriptions). The actual stories were still interesting and I chalked up the occasional cringe to a Black woman writer who unfortunately views Blackness and beauty through the lens of white approval.

Now, I’m just left disappointed when I try to read her. That whole “my African lovers” bit was so unnecessary and weird and just yuck. Additionally, she’s started doing this thing where she begins a story like we’re going to get a nicely fleshed out plot and then rushes it at 60% with some hastily narrated synopsis of the major climax before it’s like and HEA. It always leaves such a let down that I wish was better done.

2.5 since it was slightly more fleshed out than the sister’s story.

"Her Beary Spicy Valentine" by Theodora Taylor introduces readers to a bear shifter romance, a departure from the usual vampire and wolf shifter stories. This was my first experience with a bear shifter tale, and it certainly provided a different perspective.

The main characters were well-developed and each had their own trauma to work through, which added depth to the story. The three male bear shifters were attentive and supportive of Holly, especially after her troubling past with her ex-husband. Their care and concern for her, particularly regarding her infertility worries, were touching moments in the book.

While the plot was engaging, I found some of the terminology used to be somewhat confusing at times. There were instances where I had to re-read paragraphs to fully understand the context. This might be due to my unfamiliarity with bear shifter lore, but it did detract slightly from my overall reading experience. If the writing had been a bit clearer, I would have rated it higher.

Overall, "Her Beary Spicy Valentine" offers an interesting take on the paranormal romance genre. It’s worth exploring if you’re looking for something different, even though it didn't quite hit the mark for me.

I must say, it definitely captures your attention right from the start! The story employs multiple points of view in each chapter, which allows you to connect with the characters on different levels. The shifting perspectives provided a fuller understanding of the complexities at play, creating an engaging experience as you progress through the tale.
While I enjoyed the overall premise and the spice level that the book offers, there was a slight letdown in the character-building department.
I found myself rooting for one character, Hawk, who completely defied the stigma that surrounded him. I loved how he was portrayed more complexly than I initially expected.
However, I wish the same depth was extended to Koda. I had high hopes for his character development, but ultimately felt that it fell short, leaving a bit of disappointment as I was eager to learn more about him.
Despite these minor critiques, the book delivers on the spicy elements—three guys, one girl—definitely a recipe for some heated interactions! If you're in the mood for a fun, steamy read that will keep you turning pages, "her Beary Spicy Valentine" is worth picking up. Overall, I give it four stars for its engaging narrative and spicy dynamics!

Book Review: Her Beary Valentine by:
Theodora Taylor

I absolutely loved book one in this series!!! It was so adorable so when I saw there was one for Valentine’s Day I had to read it! This one was just as adorable! It’s a perfect quick read with lots of spicy and swoony moments!
Holly is recently divorced from a tool of a man… you can’t even call him a man… he is fungus lol! He deeply traumatized Holly and left her in a tailspin from his selfish and narcissistic ways. She leaves home in search of her sister who sent her messages saying she was moving to Bear Mountain and Holly sensed danger. After a very strange interaction with a Mountie who left her with a lot of unanswered questions she decides to venture to the local bar before striking out in search of her sister. But she soon gains attention from several men in the bar… if fact there are only men there. After a fight and feeling of unease she flees for her life.

I don’t want to spoil this story but three bear shifters from different backgrounds are drawn to her and she definitely finds herself and love. This story of found family is perfect for this time of year! Highly recommend it for your Valentine’s Day it won’t disappoint! Can’t wait to read the next book in the series!

** Received as ARC for honest review**

First off, thank you Valentine PR and Theodora Taylor for the opportunity to read this early!

This book was not at all what I expecting. This is a shifter, found family, small town, why choose romance about a divorcée named Holly. After her divorce she’s not only feeling alone and done on her self but she can’t get ahold of her sister. When she decides to take a trip to find and rescue her she stumbles across a small mountain town. Holly quickly finds that she may have bit off more than she could chew (haha get it?) on this rescue mission. This was a cute read and I really enjoyed the message that just because something doesn’t work out the first time doesn’t mean you’re any less worthy of happiness and love. It was a little cheesy at times and sometime hard to follow. I wish we would have gotten a little more Leif throughout the story and the ending we did get from him seemed very cringy almost. I wasn’t really a fan of the beginning or end of this one the middle stuff was good and if shifter romances are your thing than I think you would really enjoy this.

🌶️: 5/5

Less plot, more sexy time lol. So don’t read this for plot. Read this because you love shifter why choose romance and a good time lol.

Bear shifters, small town, forced proximity, breeding kink for sure, instalove, black curvy FMC ❤️‍🔥, triggers: mention of miscarriages, infertility issues

FMC - comes to small town looking for her younger sister who she hasn’t been able to contact since she moved to this small town. I love how she’s in her thirties and not in her twenties. Ladies in their 30s love sexy time too! LOLOL. She’s recently divorced, formed to pay alimony to her AWFUl exhusband for ‘wasting his best years’ and not disclosing her fertility issues before they were married. However, she didn’t know she had issues until they started trying to have children 🙄

MMC 1 : Canadian mountie of this small town - sergeant
MMC2: canadian mountie ethat works for MMC1
MMC3: ex con bad boy who just returned to his town

All with very different personalities so lucky girl! She got the jackpot hahaha. And they get down to biz REAL QUICK haha

Enjoyable read, fun banter, and all together a good time.

This is book two in a series (you don’t have to read book one to enjoy this!). In this book we meet recent-ish divorcee Holly who ends up in this town because her sister (Noelle) called to say she was in love and is moving to this remote town with her new husband(s) AND THEN STOPS ANSWERING THE PHONE.

So like any good sister, she drives up to this mountain town, asks questions, and goes past the no tourist sign. Then bad guys do bad guy things and A BEAR SAVES HER. Totally normal, right? Well what’s less normal is when she realizes the bear is a man, a man who wants to pleasure her and, oh yeah, there are two other man-bear guys who want to do the same thing.

And I’m the chief Mountie (this is a remote Canadian mountain town). The other two men, bears, include another Mountie and a biker.

The maul who loves her. So here’s Holly. She still hasn’t seen her sister and has to deal with these three completely different personalities and it’s a big, glorious spicy kerfuffle. So, basically, PERFECT.

I love all the things in this book (and this series, and Theodora Taylor’s general shifter/paranormal universe). If you’re into any of these tropes, go grab this right now!

Forced proximity,
Why choose,
Bear shifters,
Dom/submissive
Secret identity,
Small town …

And probably a few I’m missing. 10/10 would absolutely recommend!

Holly hears from her sister that she met someone and is marrying them and moving to a remote town in the mountains and that she’ll update her in the spring. Obviously alarmed she goes to get her sister out of whatever cult she has joined and ends up in the middle of a bear shifter territory during hibernation when there are definitely not very many women for the men that aren’t in hibernation and she is in bear trouble.

This was funny and surprisingly relatable. When you get the shifter insta-mate why choose kind of books they’re supremely entertaining but not usually relatable, Holly was such a fun FMC and I loved being in her inner dialogue. None of the main characters does everything right but it was so interesting to see them all work it out while getting to know each other and their animals and their own coping mechanisms for the madness. Great spice and an awesome shifter series that I can’t wait to get more of.

Her Beary Spicy Valentine is a short read which starts off quick and keeps you going until the very last page. Holly and her guys, Takoda, Hawk, and Bjorn are fated mates who meet unexpectedly. Although there's a spark of connection from the moment of meeting each one, Holly and Takoda try to deny it while Hawk and Bjorn are all in. After nature takes it's course, it also takes away the choice of being together or not bein together. Holly and her harem will now have to figure out how to navigate there new way of life and that's where the fun begins.
This installment of of Welcome to Bear Mountain was quick and very spicy. I loved the Holly was made to feel special after suffering through her marriage. The fact that her mates have totally opposite personalities made for a entertaining read and I enjoyed going along for the journey.

2.5 stars. An instalust/scent match, bear shifter romance that follows Holly, a midwife searching for her sister who recently went off the grid with little explanation (her story is the first book in this series), and the three bear shifters she meets upon arrival in the mystical town of Bear Mountain.
Like the first book, this jumps straight from the first meet to the FMC going into heat and bonding her scent matches… two Mounties and an ex-con/ex-MC head, the guys jumping straight into ‘helping’ Holly meet her new bear needs. While they eventually make a decent foursome (‘maul’), and the guys care for Holly in ways that help overcome the pain caused by her ex, lust/animal instincts drove much of the plot rather than relationship building or character arcs. I wanted more depth.
My thanks to Valentine PR and the author for the ARC, in return for my honest review.

Beautiful cover! Love the cover, and the book is just as good as the cover! I enjoyed reading this book. Perfect for Valentine's Day, or to get you into the Valentine's Day spirit.
3 mates, and they are bear Shifters. If you love a good shifter romance, then this book is for you.
Looking for a shifter romance, spice, Valentine's Day vibes, and a quick read, look no further. This book deserves all the hype. I love that i was able to read this in one sitting.
The spice was good, I mean, you can't get any better than Mountain View.
I wish this book was longer, and I do wish that we got to know these men more (their back story). The ending did feel rushed. But I really enjoyed reading this. It's easy to read and easy to follow. I didn't get lost while reading. This was very well written.

This sounded like such a me book when I read the blurb and I enjoyed myself well enough but the characters didn't really work for me. Mountie (Takoda) was the grumpy to Holly's sunshine, but his attempts to woo her were slightly overshadowed by the other two. Hawk started very one dimensional, but became wonderfully complex, and Leif is the pretty Golden Retriever boyfriend.

The spice was so good, but as I mentioned above, Takoda and his quiet, bloody attempts are only hinted at because Holly is... busy.

My first ever Bear Shifter ARC read.
I read this in one sitting and was pleasantly surprised how fast of a read it was.

I enjoyed the dynamic of the males and Holly. Holly has been through some tough times and finds herself searching for her sister. When she stumbles across a handsome man in Bear Mountain completely unwilling to help her find her missing sister.
Frustrated she flees to the local bar and grill, where once again nobody is willing to help her. Not only that but she’s attracted two other large males.
The story unfolds as she continues her journey and finds herself in a whole new situation, not understanding the dynamics of shifters.

This was such a cute bear shifter romance novella, and it’s perfect for Valentine’s Day!🩷

I loved the main characters and how they each had their own trauma to work through but they were not alone, they helped and supported each other.💞
These three male bear shifters are perfect book boyfriends and they took care of Holly, protected her, and showed her what real love is after her terrible ex-husband.🥹

I am so happy that I got to receive an arc of Her Beary Spicy Valentine and if you enjoy:

~Bear shifters
~Why choose
~Multiple pov
~”Touch her and die.”
~Plus size FMC
~Spice
and so much more, you will love Her Beary Spicy Valentine.🐻💞

Wasn’t sure to expect from this book. Taylor does an amazing job telling this story. The FMC goes to Bear Mountain looking for her sister. She meets a Mountie that runs her wrong, goes to a bar & grill where she meets a biker and a Viking like man that fight over her. These three men will do anything to claim her. We see all the trouble she gets into, how she struggles with the thought of them liking her due to her ex-husband. I found the struggles very relatable and the storyline was fun, lots of banter, feelings, and desires! Very good read and an intriguing insight to bears and their mauls.

A super quick and easy read, I devoured it in one sitting. I love a good bear shifter story, its always on right from the beginning!

The multiple POVs allowed you to see the situation from each characters perspective and how they handled past trauma or prejudices to form their maul. Hawk was my favourite, and you just want to smoosh Leif's cheeks :) There was just the right amount of spice while not detracting from the story.

The ending was a little rushed, i would have liked to have seen a little more of the Maul once it was all settled or not just be "told" what happened.

Thankyou Theodora Taylor and Valentine PR for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I want more! This was such a great read. I love all the characters. The way the interact and play off each other.
I wasn’t 100% convinced about Leif in the beginning. But he definitely grows on you. And has his own unique place within the maul.

Looking for her sister, Holly finds a place of her own. And a forever home that she thought she would never get. The journey to get there is spicy and sweet and hilarious.

I loved every moment of it. And it tugs on your heart strings without breaking your heart completely. Definitely a must read. And perfect for the romance season.

I received an ARC for free. I am voluntarily leaving this review.

Holly was just looking for sister

what started off as Holly looking for Noelle, turned into her forever. what she thought was an unconventional relationship turned into hers. from the first moment that she went into the police station and then to the bar, she was a goner. she had found three men who were so enticed by her scent. and Takoda, who tried to get her to leave, was her first. and then she fell in love with all three of them, and they loved her.
she found her sister, who was married to 2 of her brother-in-laws, and they were both finally having babies of their own and getting their happily ever after. which in both books, they both seemed pretty happy.
