Baking Mayhem

People will do crazy things for what they want. They never seem to consider what will happen if they fail.
This book would be a wonderful teenager read. It might be a bit much for younger readers.
This book has a well thought out plot and maintained characters well.
The descriptions are well written. If you don't want a book or plot that is too overwhelming, read this series of books. There are plenty laughs throughout.

Who would’ve or could’ve pulled off a massive poisoning of pastries at Sophie’s bakery on Valentine's Day? That and tons more questions were what Jim and Ginger set out to discover answers to, once they recovered from their own symptoms from eating there.

Poor Sophie was the prime suspect, and the sheriff just wanted an easy solution. I loved what Ginger did to save the day, although Jim did have lots to do with securing some important evidence to nail the perp.

Another fun read in this series. Jim and Ginger attend a Valentine’s Day gathering at the Bakery. Everything is going well, until several people are struck down with gastric like symptoms and others fall unconscious.

Pastry power

This story was supposed to be a love of Valentine! But instead a chaos of people responded to the beautiful cookies with bowel problems! Again this was someone wanting to gain ownership of bakery. Ginger came as a hero solving the case!!
