Visited the “Medium Is The Message” exhibition at The College Of Psychich Studies in London this week, and I’ve got to witness some of Colquhoun’s work in the flesh. This book is an excellent introduction, with just the right amount of information to keep you curious about the artist’s life and work.
I feel connected to her work in multiple ways, it’s nice to get more familiar with her whilst seeing her actual work right in front of me, and walking around in the city where she once lived for many years.
Can’t wait to read some of her own literature and to try out some of the automatic art making techniques, as described in this small, but inspiring book.
+ the selection of artworks that are featured in this book are doing a good job as well.
