I really enjoyed this story, and as a Brit, it was fun to have an Anglophile in the story, and great to have a British character who actually sounded like one. Loved Holden's old soul in a smokin' hot young body. And got to give a shout-out to Gran :)

I love Lorelei and Holden together. Lorelei is an older woman (is 35 considered older?) and Holden is a younger man. It was a sweet, romantic, and sexy ride. Real people, real-life situations, and hot sex. Lorelei isn't a virgin, thank goodness, and neither is he. How refreshing to read about a young man, but definitely a man, who's not irreparably damaged or hiding a deep, dark secret. With his lovely English accent and playful ways, he tries to coax Lorelei out of her rut. He sees all the ways she hides in plain sight. How can you not fall in love with a man who has a hunch you're suffering from PMS, and comes to the rescue with a bag of all the sweet things needed to make you feel better? What about a man who always makes sure you get what you need first? Me likey. Holden is young, hot, and has a great butt! Lorelei is used to being on her own, and adjustments need to be made. Their story is sweet, fun, sexy, surprising, frustrating, moving, and more. I'm rooting for them. Did I mention he has an accent? This is a great summer read!

This is a story about a couple that meet by accident and find they have an instant connection . Even though there is an age difference , they can't deny their growing feelings towards each other. The main male character is Holden and he is adorable . He is an old soul in a hot young body and you will certainly fall in love with him. Lorelei is worried about the age gap but decides to have some fun with him. His friends are really funny with their banter and he has a very supportive family, his gran is such a character . Her family are cold and distant so she has two friends that are now her family. Scott is hilarious and Charlie teases and pushes Lorelei to enjoy herself. The book does cover a few sensitive issues but the author has written it in a sympathetic and engaging way. There are always moments of light and laughter when you least expect it. An enjoyable read that shows that true love can cope with what ever is put in its way.

I was happy to receive this book for my honest review.

Have you ever wanted to end everything on a whim because you got some bad news? Have you ever met that one guy that could make you cream your undies? Have you ever wanted to just stalk one man cause you were afraid to get say Hi?
This is Lorelei’s journey to finding peace, tranquility, love and fireworks.
Lorelei-the sassy, geek, beautiful veterinarian
Holden-the hunk of all hunks with the British accent
The term Mrs. Robinson is used in this epic book many times but what comes to this reviewers mind is the song We've Only Just Begun by the Carpenters After reading this book you will surely understand why I mention this epic song from the past.
Lorelei and Holden’s journey begins as he is her savoir. She however was not so sure at first. She thought that this younger man was just saving her to be saved but in the end it was her true identity that he was saving not just her heart. Holden and Lorelei had this unimaginable spark between them that could not be denied by anyone. Even though they both tried to ignore it at first but then first kiss came into play there was no denying it for either one of them. Lorelei wanted to live her life to the fullest why she still could. She didn’t want to dirty the waters by telling Holden what was going on with her all she wanted was that little bit of happiness and heaven while she still could grasp it. (You’re going to have to pick up the book to get what I am meaning).
Holden knew that this special woman that he had just saved was going to be the one for him. No other woman would ever come into play after meeting Lorelei he didn’t care that she was older than him. For him age was just a number but getting this awesome woman to realize it was going to be a challenge that he was up for. Does Holden succeed?
The sex between this couple is Hot and tame at the same time. They explode at first touch. When the bedroom finally does come into play it gets even hotter but at the same time tame.
This couple takes a journey across the pond to visit Holden’s grandmother that still lives in London. This is where they both admit it is just more than they both bargained for. As the vacation comes to an end Lorelei makes a decision that will affect them both but will it destroy them? I could tell you but I won’t. Pick up the book. Does this couple get there happily ever after? Does Holden give up? Does Lorelei give up on them?
This author did one fantastic job in this book. This book is filled with a lot of reality. There are scary moments when you want to just yell that is what makes this book so enthralling. Plus you have a little bit of mystery, a lot of geek and just over all a fun.
This author had me captivated from page 1 and curious to the very end. Since this is book 1 of this series this reviewer can’t wait till book 2 grrrr but that is definitely a good thing.

This book was exactly what the title said an Instant Connection. Am I one of those people that believe in love at first sight no I'm not but I do believe that you can have an instant connection with someone and you can't explain it. This book made me laugh, cry and cheer and touched on a subject that hit close to home for me and for that I could really relate to this story. Lorelei and Holden had a connection from the beginning. They way that they meet and the struggles that they went through were what made this story the way that it was. Although Holden was younger than Lorelei and he never seemed to care although she did that is what made me love this story even more. It's not that often that you read a book about the other woman and the younger man. I loved the fact that no matter what happen Holden was always there and he is instantly a BBF that you hope to have in real life. Their friends added a nice touch to the story and kept you entertained throughout the story and made me not want to put this down. I look forward to seeing what will happen next with this couple.
