What if keeping a secret meant choosing between your daughter and your marriage?

It took only one doorbell ring to turn married couple Erez and Sigal’s life upside down. Sigal did not expect Sylvie, the neighbor’s caregiver, holding a baby. And she definitely did not expect to hear one little sentence, “This is Aya, Erez’s baby.”

While Erez swears it was just a one-night stand, Sigal cannot bear the ultimate betrayal and leaves him to handle the mess. Left on his own, Erez helps Sylvie raise Aya until one day, Sylvie disappears, leaving behind one request – that Aya know she is her mother.

When Sigal meets Aya by chance, she is instantly drawn to the sweet girl. Over time, the two develop a strong bond, and Sigal feels ready to reconcile with Erez and raise Aya as their daughter under one Aya can never know who her real mother is. Afraid to lose Sigal again, Erez agrees.

Yet, as Sylvie desperately tries to reconnect with Aya, Erez knows their secret is not safe for long. He will do anything to save his marriage, but can he keep lying to his daughter? Or will he risk his marriage so that Aya learns the truth?

Our Secret Daughter is a gripping and emotional story about love, marriage and parenthood, perfect for fans of Kate Hewitt, Emma Robinson and Alison Ragsdale.

A Gripping Tale of Love and Lies...

"Our Secret Daughter" examines the complex nature of marital relationships, the significance of forgiveness, and the weight of hidden truths. The author crafts a moving narrative focused on Erez and Sigal, a couple whose relationship is irrevocably disrupted by the unexpected arrival of a child resulting from Erez's infidelity. This compelling narrative expertly reveals the extensive repercussions of deceit, significantly impacting all characters, with young Aya serving as the emotional nucleus of this complex family saga.

The work is notable for its intricate exploration of moral dilemmas and the sacrifices undertaken for love. Loewidt's prose demonstrates how a solitary decision can devolve into an intricate network of deception, endangering all that the characters hold dear. The author expertly controls the pacing, sustaining intense tension throughout and creating an irresistible narrative that culminates in a profound conclusion. Examining issues of integrity, redemption, and the nature of familial relationships, this novel comes highly recommended. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

A Very Good Story

I couldn’t put this book down . I really identified with characters. I felt their joy and sorrow. The characters were interesting and the situation they encountered could happen.

Thoughtless book and disappointed.

I had hopes for a common ground result. As there wasn't one. The book was a waste of my time.

Not often that I feel that a book has been a waste of my time but this one certainly qualifies. I would have added it to my DNF list but wanted to see how the mess was resolved.

Starts out with a marginally interesting premise that literally goes nowhere. I found the 3 main characters to be very annoying and distasteful for all of their whining.

As for the ending resolution, the story literally stopped just before we get to see what happens. Along the lines of all 3 characters are going to open a door to go out together to face the consequences of their deception and… The End

Am I glad I read this book? NO!!! Honestly I’m more pi$$ed off at the lack of an ending than I am at the obnoxious characters.

Would I recommend it? Good grief - NO!!! Run from this book 😂😂
