I still have the same question, why do I need this book? And as it turns out, this is the third book in the new series. I'm disappointed. The book was both good and not good. And there are still a lot of questions about some of the characters, as it turned out that they were written about in the first books.

This book is so PACKED beginning to end with revelations 😱😱😱
Maureen, has mourned the loss of her husband for a while and has now ‘bought her way out’ to live where she wants, a proper fresh start, she’s upset that she’s leaving her daughter (Colleen) behind, but as she’s an adult she’s hoping that her Colleen will fall in love with Diamond Creek and stay
Declan ‘The Sheriff’ can’t believe what he’s seeing when he’s driving down the highway and notices King talking to a woman at the side of the road, stopping, he gets himself involved with the conversation and finds out her car has broken down and begins to act like a spoilt child……then he runs her license plate 😜😜😜
This story unfolds so many unanswered questions, has so many revelations that you’ll be thinking ‘what? What? What?)
This book doesn’t have the usual s@x and spice and takes a long while to get to it…..BUT believe me THIS DOES NOT MATTER AS THE STORY IS 👌👌👌👌👌

“It’s All Connected” (it really IS ALL connected). ** NO SPOILERS **
Although this is listed as book 1 of a new series in reality it’s a continuation of events in works by two different authors spanning several interconnected book series.
That aside I’d say it’s entirely possible to read this as a standalone in its own right it’s just that some characters (from out of town) who wander into the plot will only be understood on a surface level. Chronologically the beginning of this book slots into the tail end of Ryder & Ellie’s story in the Silver Shadows MC series.
Maureen is looking to start a new chapter in her life after the death of her husband a year ago she’s determined to move out of the big city. She’s taking control of her life, a no nonsense small town in Nebraska sounds like everything she’s looking for. She gets a lot more than she bargained for in Diamond Creek as old secrets long buried come to light.his brother protected

Sheriff, Badass Heroine, Irish Mob, Prickly MC President… what could go wrong?
What better to way to stir something up but to put the law and the Irish mob together and oh don’t forget a little brother who’s the President of an MC!
We first meet Declan in Blade book one of the Silver Shadows MC. He is a hunky, low key, bad boy Sheriff that has an intriguing background. He has raised and protected his baby brother, King, the President of the Silver Shadows MC pretty much his entire life. Declan meets our badass, take no prisoner h Maureen when she’s stuck on the side of the road after leaving the Irish mob when her husband died and her daughter is on her own.
There is some awesome back and forth banter between the two as well as others in the MC. As Declan’s background starts unraveling with secrets, baby brother having a tantrum, the Irish mob showing up and Maureen and her take no prisoner attitude comes out….. Well you have a recipe for lots of fun, laughs and oh boy moments!
This is an awesome romance book that I highly recommend from a new and up incoming author. You will not regret reading this book. Lots of laughs and fun to be had.

This one is a tough one to put into words. Emotions are all over the place and parts of this story completely knocked the breath out of me. Starting Over is absolutely incredible! I love a beautiful, second chance, later in life story and this author has brought it in spades. This is Declans story and it's packed completely full of emotion, surprises, twists, turns and heartache.
Maureen and Declan are utter perfection together. I love that this is a later in life story, it's never too late for ANYTHING in life. Maureen is absolutely fierce and doesn't back down from anybody for any reason. She's confident and strong willed and very comfortable with herself. There's absolutely nothing about this book that I didn't love!

please read these in order !!
I made the mistake of reading all of the silver shadows MC series before realizing the order . Do yourself the favor and read them in the order she has at the end of the books . It’ll answer all your questions …
That aside man this one is wild . We get so many answers of things that happen with the boys from silver shadows . I loved seeing Declan’s point of view on a lot of things , more than anything seeing him get his woman . Maureen is a spit fire and even at the age of 48 she’s handling herself well. Love to see a woman who can put these bikers in their place and keep the sherif on his toes .

AWESOME Book
OMG!!! I Love this book. Her books are getting better and better. I just couldn't put this book down.
It was entertaining, unpredictable, HOT, MC, MOB, wonderful characters, spicy, twist and turns, older couple, secrets, never seen this coming, cry, couldn't put it down and so much more. Great story!!
This is Declan and Maureen's story.
This is a well written easy to read , emotional roller coaster, with family, friendships, intrigue, loyalty, drama, angst, secrets, challenges humour, witty banter, loss, heartbreak , making choices, and love, which all leads to an entertaining, tragic, twisted, and unpredictable page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Good read
This is a well written MC story but to me it was confusing in the middle because there were so many characters and different things going on. I have read a couple other of Ms. Silver's books, all good, but this had overload in the middle.
I did like that it had several twists. There were surprises, family traumas, tragedy and some romance. All the components for a good read.

Secrets spilling out left and right, the Irish mob, found family. Ann brings it all in this second chance, later in life, love rekindled, story. My jaw dropped so many times reading this book. Along with a bombshell ending, and an emotional epilogue, this book really packs a punch. Buckle up and hang on tight for the ride. I can't wait for the next book.

I really enjoyed this story!
We finally get to learn more about Declan and his past. Maureen was a great FMC. I enjoy second chance romances, especially when they happen later in life. These two were made for each other. We learn a lot in this book and feel all the emotions. A great addition to the world that's been created!

Exceptional!!
The Diamond Creek Romance and the Silver Shadows MC series were great. I loved the characters and hopefully there will be books about more of the Silver Shadows. I'm about to start the crossover Soulless Sinners and Golden Skulls series. This was my first time reading Ann Silver and I loved her writing. I purchased her entire Silver Shadows series.

I loved Declan and Maureen so much! The twists and turns that are in this book where blowing my mind!!! Just when I thought I had it figured out.. BAM! PLOT TWIST! Definitely recommend reading this.

OMG secrets, to many secrets. I absolutely loved Declan and Maureen’s story ❤️❤️❤️ but as I said, secrets and lies had kept them apart for so many years and they had to navigate the damage the secrets had done but with even more secrets uncovered came unforgiving heartache. This is an amazing series full of amazing characters and awesome storyline’s 100% recommend this book and series to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎🖤

I have huge soft spot for Sheriff 0’Rouke, Dec may have made a mistake not being truthful with King over his true parentage but it was done out of love and to protect him, still wrong especially after he found out about Becks but understandable .
I like the character of Maureen and I’m glad that Ann gave him someone of his own age (ish), it refreshing to read about a mature woman getting a little sumfin’ sumfin’ but my initial thoughts were nooo mine!!!! however I like her so I’ll share .
A really enjoyed this book but Rach !!!!!! Heartbreaking for all but Cash made me want to hug him especially with the revelation on next of kin, that felt like a kick in the nuts from beyond the grave
