Sherice Watson is an assistant district attorney who struggles with the dilemma of prosecuting Anika Brown, a 14-year-old girl, for murder. Tina Burnside is the author of the novel "Have Mercy." She is also a former journalist who has written numerous articles that have been published in the Milwaukee Sentinel, Minneapolis StarTribune, Chicago Tribune, Minnesota Daily and Isthmus newspapers.
