Divided into three parts - one about some high school students, one about history of Mexico and one part about Lazarillo. I found the history of Mexico difficult with all the different generals, leaders etc but interesting.
Took me a while coming back to the book but I eventually finished.

the first two parts were good. the third contained a lot of useless vocabulary that deal with the middle ages.

This has been a good reader for learning Spanish and getting comfortable with it.
The early stories were helpful if not interesting, the part 2 & 3 were really good!
