One word:
Why?!!!

Honestly i am SHOCKED with the high rating for this series! i just do not get it!

This is the SIXTH book! and NOTHING is happening! the characters development is basically NON-EXISTENT. The Academy is still vague. The writer should have been more careful about this. The introduction is a novel by itself, the first day of school is another book, shopping for clothes is another book, chasing someone is a book, if Sang went to the bathroom then BAM expect another book! WHAT.THE.F

And the boys!! BOYS??!! HA those are no boys honey.
16 years old boys with men bodies. If i didn't know they were 16 i would honestly say they are 25+
I know i know, "it's a fiction" but COME ON!

I'm confused. What is this series. What is this suppose to be!!!
This is shit that what this is!

Why are you still reading this you may ask?
Because i don't know what is happening. I want to know how the hell this disaster end...

Incomprehensible, and gullible

♥ How about that first KISS, huh? ♥

description

The sexual tension was thick in this book and that first kiss was worth waiting 6 books.

What happens?

- The guys are all each pursuing Sang and doing their utmost to get her to initiate a kiss. Sang is not clueless, but she is not the type to initiate, which ends up with her having a confused slightly broken heart.

- Sang has to take vitamins and is grounded from academy work because she is malnourished. So she gets a new toy to play with.

- There is definitely more than meets the eye with Wil.

- Nathan's dad pops back into town and causes trouble, poor poor Nathan! ♥

- We learn more about Sean Green in this book, yes!!!!!

Lessons learned?

- Synthetic drugs can be even worse than the originals.

- Sang teaches us to not go down without a fight.

- We'll need explosives to get Mr. B to crack.

- Having 9 guys chasing your tail is hot, but frustrating!

I don't even know where to start with this book. It was definitely my favorite so far out of all the other books. I love how the relationships are coming together with all the boys. I love Kota and I am really looking forward to more with him, but I think I'm really more excited for Mr. Blackbourne's book. I don't know what it is about him but I need more!! Finally Sang gets her first kiss. It was the perfect choice. I love these books but this one is a must read! I LOVED IT!!!
C.L. you are amazing!! It just keeps getting better and better. Can't wait for the next one!

The first chapter was great. It sucks you right back in to the Academy world as soon as you start reading.
EDIT: I heard the author changed the cover. That sucks. I thought it was a good one.
EDIT 2: Did everyone read the Chapter 2 teaser? My gosh, it was so good. I am on cloud 9. I thought for sure Sang and Kota were going to...
EDIT 3: If you want to read more before the release date, get the sample from iTunes. It comes with the 5 full chapters and some of chapter 6. It's awesome!!!

Holy obi won Kenobi Batman! I need to read this again and again....what a book hangover full of hotness and stolen kisses!

Sang: She still a little naïve and depends a lot on the boys but I can see that she is headed in the right direction to finding herself and becoming stronger. Being only 16 and everything that she has gone through, I could not imagine.

Nathan aka to Sang is her honey to his peanut:
Oh Nathan......well he becomes one of the main characters in this book. You get more taste of his rough home life and see the true colors of his father, Mr. Griffen. Oh sweet Nathan, he also thinks he is the only one who can love Sang and maybe one day take her away but I believe he will be very disappointed when he finds out how the others feel for Sang also.

Kota aka to Sang is her sunshine to his sweetie: We have Kota and Sang at the beginning have their own "moment" sometime at the beginning of the story....loved it....cant wait for more of them together.

Victor "princess": Victor who has admitted to some of the guys loves Sang and already spoiling her more in this one with a 3DS and new clothes??

North "Sang Baby": Uh, that scene had to be the hottest scene in this series thus far......I think I am going to practice role playing with my hubby on that one...read it and find out

Silas "Aggele Mou": Such a protector and always looking out for her at school "the boyfriend"

Luke "Cupcake": Lovin Luke and cannot wait for his date with Sang because he has some sweet plans coming their way

Gabriel aka to Sang is her meanie to his Trouble "Oy":
Gabriel had his kiss "moment" with Sang which I thought was pretty hilarious. I cannot wait for their date and time together. He is very forward and I like!!

Owen aka Mr Blackbourne: His gorgeous millimeter smile. Once he and Sang have their moment, I believe sparks will fly off the page because I think he finally realizes he will do anything for her no matter what....the 3DS scene was freaking hilarious...lol!

Sean aka Dr Green "little pumpkin/pookie": Uh, I am still not over the scene with Sean, so unexpected but someone had to start the "real kissing" trend! And I might say, he did a fantastic job as well even though I am not the once who received my first kiss!!

Lots of side characters.......did I tell you I hate Jade but I am very curious how Jay plays out.....Rocky!?! There was a couple of scenes that I almost couldn't handle and the very last one, I had to take a break because it was tearing my heart out. I have to say this is the best book of the series yet and if it got that hot in this one, I definitely think the author will keep it moving and give us more real smoochies coming our way!!!

Guess what? you get to get some of the first chapter of book 7!!! Is Fall here yet?

Just finished reading! I told my husband I would stay up until it came on my iPad and then read until I finished. He didn't believe me but ha! I showed him how addicted I am to this series. This has to be my favorite book so far in the series. When the kisses, actual kisses started flying I would screaming! I couldn't believe it was him for her first kiss but I lalalala loved it! You wicked devil you! Not only is Sangs love life hitting a high point but her life around her is going crazy with the drug, bullies, and crazy ass principal! We see a few extra academy members and they actually see sang so you can just imagine how the boys handle that. Dr green and mr.B get closer to sang but like I said her love life is definitely getting hot! Ahh come on stone you are amazing and I just need to be out out of my misery after this ending. Cannot wait till fall you are killing me!!!

I think I died and woke up on an island paradise called "The Academy" with a sign saying: "WARNING: UP AHEAD ARE UNCONTROLLABLE FEELS AND VERY DANGEROUS SCENES!"

I had missed the boys and was so excited to read it! And I wasn't disappointed. Stone had, yet again, given the readers another piece of the Academy puzzle. The book was like sugar on my tongue; it melted sweetly, but I ended up missing it.

But man, Stone is such a tease !

You want this? TOO BAD!

I really liked this book's balance with the guys. There are more scenes with different guys (and intense ones) and I felt as if they were evened out. Good job, Stone ;)

As for the situation with Nathan, I was a bit disappointed with him.

I don't want to spoil anything. Although, I will say that Nathan gets very passionate about his feelings, a little too passionate. Well, in a possessiveness way.

BUT, I still loved this book and I had a great time reading it! I kept trying not to giggle in class when I was reading...

I can't wait for the next book ;)

I'll be waiting for you!

This is a spoiler review. C. L. Stone surprised me yet again in this book. So I feel the need to talk about the characters separately.

Mr. Blackbourne : seemed to really soften up to Sang in this book. He makes me nervous and I'm just reading the book.

Dr. Green : was really surprised but happy that he was her first kiss. He made me literally laugh out loud through this book.

North : loved the beach scene and when they went to the hotel I was blown away. I was sad I didn't really see him more in this book.

Luke : I'm expecting a kiss with sang from him in the next book. I loved the jealousy between him and the other Academy students.

Gabriel : really happy I got to see more of him in this and the last book. The bathroom scene had me begging for more.

Nathan : really got to know and understand him in this book. I wanted to kill his dad. Was really sad at the end when he talked about running away with her.

Silas : loved the scene where they were fake making out at the game. I still feel the need to know more about him.

Victor : didn't see much of him in this book but when I did he was making me smile. Happy that he is trying to talk to Nathan.

Kota : in the beginning I thought he was honestly going to be her first kiss. His mom made me laugh. Super happy he was there for Nathan.

Sang : her nervousness made me love her even more. I love her innocence. So sorry for what jade did to her made me want to kill jade too

OH MY FUCKING GOD!

Two words: SEXUAL TENSION

This book was filled with it! Holy shit. My heart was racing for a lot of the scenes - especially when Sang has that one-on-one time with one of The Guys. The main guys in this book? Nathan and Dr. Green!!!! That's not to say that the other didn't do anything... They did! Especially North and Mr. Blackbourne. Buuuuuut the real highlight for me in this book was towards the end with Nathan - he had the honor of getting the ~A~ POV this time, which if you read it, won't be a surprise.

But. First thing's first. How about that first kiss ?!?!? I was dying! I was actually in a middle of lunch with my mom and her friend and reading and I choked on my meat and had to re-read the passage like 3x before it sunk in. But shit!!! That was so unexpectedly amazing!

There's still hella crazy shit going on around Sang. There's the bomber, Mr. Hendricks, Mr. McCoy, Mr. Griffin (the fucking bastard), the JH14 problem in Ashley Waters, Volto, Marie & Danielle, Jade, Rocky, her worthless father and I'm sure I'm missing something else - the point is... There's a shit ton. On top of that, she has to juggle the guys's affections and figuring out what they want with her and all that self doubt and years of abuse and being submissive isn't really helping out Sang cope.. In short. There's still problems that need to be solved by the gang and there's action that happens here.

Fuck. This is the last one I had before I had to wait for the 7th book like everybody else... I just wanna keep reading and find out what's going to happen!

What the hell. This is probably the worst book in the Ghost Bird series thus far. Be warned, there are spoilers. LOTS OF THEM.

Sang is still an idiotic, pathetic heroine. The entire book is basically pushing and shoving her into a romantic relationship with the guys. I know that's the point of the series, but the push here is hard, ladies and gentlemen. Kota makes out with her without their lips touching. North has a biting session with her in their undergarments. Nathan gets all hot and grindy with her at a club. Gabriel kisses her neck a lot after she bites him. Dr. (lol) Green kisses her and sleeps with her in his bed. Mr. Blackbourne takes her on a date/stakeout. The entire time, she laments silently that they aren't kissing her. She thinks that they should be making the first move, unaware of the rule that she has to initiate until Dr. (lol) Green tells her about it. Sang needs to mature and grow the hell up already. The whole sheltered, hidden away excuse never flew with me because she readily accepted the guys and their pushy affections after all of her mother's warnings. Sometimes I think she's purposefully obtuse so that her harem will dote on her more. Nathan and Victor even say if she's not within eyesight, she's probably in trouble. They don't trust her to do anything. Sang is the worst thing about this series, which is pathetic because it's about her. Stone cannot write female heroines that you can connect to. Sang is a child in a teenager's body, while Kayli is a snooty, stuck up bitch who has no basis for being the way she is.

In Drop of Doubt, I commented on how this series was afraid of women. Well, it's blown up into straight misogyny. Danielle and Marie are bitches to Sang all book. Marie wants Sang gone, hates her, accuses her of trying to steamroll her, etc, when Marie is the one acting like a complete and utter bitch. Shouldn't sisters stick together? But no, if you have two x chromosomes, you cannot be a good person, according to Stone's series. Marie is jealous because everyone loves and wants Sang (LOL), and wants the attention for herself. She does drugs and somehow it's Sang's fault. She wrecks the house with a party and blames Sang. I'm not Sang's biggest fan either, but it sounds so unrealistic and forced. The entire relationship between Sang and Marie has been off to me from the beginning.

Next, Jade. Can we say unnecessary drama? She's been dosing people she doesn't like with the drugs from Thief and that's the underlying plot of this book, because no one knows who's doing it. Okay, fine, but the real kicker comes at the end. Jade molests Sang and tries to rape her so that Sang won't be a virgin for her harem anymore. Seriously. I can't even make that up.

“You know, I thought it wasn’t true... But you really are a virgin, aren’t you?” Jade’s stunned face swam in front of me. “Never would have guessed.” Her fingers curled, reaching down. “I can fix that.”

What. The. Fuck. This is all because everyone luuuuuuuuuuurves Sang so much that apparently no guy in school will pay attention to any other girl? HAHAHAHA, sorry, I can't take that seriously either. There is nothing alluring about Sang. Nothing.

To top this off, Nathan's father tries to kill Sang immediately after Jade tries to rape her. No, I'm not making that up either.

The fingers snagged, and wrenched my head to the side, yanking some strands out. My face was shoved against a pillow... A hand collided with my mouth. The sting radiated from a single point where my lip split, and spread throughout my mouth until my bones rattled together... I arched my body up, pulling as much as I could. A hand landed hard against my stomach, pushing me back down.... His fist flew at me, catching me in the shoulder. He pulled it back and knocked me in the side of the head.

Yeah, what the hell is going on with this book. Nathan's dad is a drunk who beat his wife until she left and continued to beat his son. Now he tried to attack Kota's mom and attacked Sang while the Academy boys left Sang alone to be taken care of by Marie and Danielle (who both hate her), while she's tied to a bed. Everyone took their idiot pills for this book, I swear.

The guys. Well, let me get this out of the way. They're not teenagers. They're thirty year old men who were aged down to be fifteen/sixteen/nineteen. With Dr. (lol) Green and Mr. Blackbourne, this makes them look like little boys playing adult. I get that they have to be younger so Sang can screw them later and it won't be weird, but it still squicks me out. Especially with Blackbourne, because he could be aged to mid-twenties and be put in a much better series. Green is just a huge horndog, hitting on pretty teenagers. Medical doctor, my ass. Anyway, all of the almost kissing with the various guys and Sang drove me nuts. Some people find the scene with her and North biting hot, and I could see how it would be, but she's too naive and dense to understand what she's doing. She thinks that's what friends do. And she doesn't realize that North went and masturbated in the bathroom after their biting session. Derp.

This is Nathan's book, and really, nothing is distinct about him that I particularly care about him. However, he teeters on the edge of me thinking finally, someone who isn't a complete idiot and christ, this guy is an idiot. He doesn't think Sang is able to handle being shared. He thinks they're too young to actually be in love. He doesn't think all the guys will be able to share without fighting. Hey, I agree! But then he goes on about how he's the one who loves Sang the most and he's going to run away with her because she's the only one who loves and gets him. He makes excuses for why the other guys don't love her as much or dismiss them entirely (Kota treats her like a sister! Yeah, Nathan, because guys nuzzle their sister's necks while they sit in their laps. WHAT). He's the only one who really knows and understands her (because he read her fucking diary). Only he's worthy enough to be with her. Get off of your damned high horse, Nathan. You don't deserve Sang because you betrayed her trust (which Victor is quick to point out), and Sang doesn't deserve you (or anyone) yet because she doesn't have the maturity to.

Apparently the Academy can make new jobs at will? Erica (Kota's mom) is having issues with her new manager throwing her weight around, so the Academy posts a new job for more money where she can organize a filing room all day. Nathan's dad is abusive, so they're giving him a job in Singapore that pays double what he makes now. Why are they rewarding terrible people? Also, Hendricks is embezzling money from the school, which is what the Academy team is really looking into, but they don't know how. There are more vague references to favours, but other than that, we learn nothing new about the Academy. JUST TELL US ALREADY.

This book is akin to the lapse in the car wreck, where it sinks in what just happened and people are looking at each other and saying "This is some fucked up shit, bro", just before another car or twelve are added to the pile. The entire thing was unnecessary, ESPECIALLY the stuff with Jade (shudders) and Nathan's dad. I'd give this thing zero stars if I could. Bad, bad, and everyone should feel bad.

So I had this series in my to-read shelf and I had been putting it off for the longest time. I mean, come on, 9 guys? Really??? But yeah 9 amazingly hot guys. I started a week ago and I have already finished all 6 and dying to read the others.

So the thing is, these books for me are like crack. They're bad but I just cant get enough. When in the world would I have thought that polygamy was even a viable option. Well, I'll tell you when, it was when I started reading the academy! This is so messed up and yet so devilishly scrumptious! lol.
There are some many things wrong with these books, I cant even start to count them down but its just something the author does that has me coming for more. I tell you, its this polygamy sh*t!!! So twisted yet it leaves me wanting more!

I'm hoping these will end up being a really long series cause I want to see when they turn 18, when they go to college and all the other stuff that entails life. I think by this speed we'll get to sex in like book 20th or something.

So this one in particular is filled with so much sexual tension, it had me in a riot. C. L. Stone, you are a total tease! There were so many moments when I just stopped breathing thinking the kissing scene was finally gonna happen and I have to say: you, Miss perfect author got me good!

And I knew someone was gonna have a problem with the arrangements. I was just waiting it out. Things are about to get very interesting!!!! *evil laugh*

The characters

Sang- I have to say I am in shock with myself because if it had been any other book I would have hated her insecurities and weaknesses but here it goes so perfectly because she just has so many heroes, it beckons for her to be weak. BTW I am vastly jealous! You get to have them all!

This book had every book boyfriend out there! You cant miss any of them because it has them all!

Mr. Blackbourne dominant/submissive- I yearned to be told what to do, when and how.

Dr. Sean Green teacher/student- had me smiling every time he popped up. My pookie

North Alpha male/bad boy- Who can resist a bad boy?? I know I definitely can't!. I am a sucker for you guys! I love how he fights and screams and demands to be heard. You can bite me everyday and twice on sunday ;) North Star I love you too!

Luke surfer dude- I have a weak spot for you! My ninja. I actually really wanted him to be the first kiss. He's just so sweet and cute. Every time he smiles I smile right back at him

Gabriel gay friend-He's actually really sweet and that hallway scene in the last book made me finally look at him as more than a friend. Oh and when he was in the bathroom in this one, oh yeah definitely more than a friend *wink wink*

Silas jock- meh. Sorry silas

Kota Nerd- I have a thing for nerds especially if they're looking like him! He's one of my favorites! Loved the scene with his mom and bedroom. Totally steamy!!

Nathan broken hero- I love you but you pissed me off, but I'll still give you my <3

Victor billionaire- I like you but you have got to up your game!

Second time read. First time review.

Push and Shove is the sixth installment of The Ghost Bird series. Each book is a step up from the one before and they are also bringing the whole group closer and closer. I'm glad that some of the guys have taken it a bit further with Sang, especially since it is the 6th book and all, but now I can't wait for certain people to acknowledge their love for her. Of course, it's already assumed that they all love each other (especially after Sang's last thought in this book) but damn, I just need more from them all. I need passion dammit!

In this book, everyone in this group is still working together but on different missions. They are still being followed on a daily basis, but there are some new threats thrown in this book. One of them being Nathan's dad, who I despised with all of my heart. The other is at school, and I was honestly thinking it was someone completely different than who it was. HOWEVER, that doesn't mean this person was completely off the hook with me. No, that bitch was still on my radar but for something completely different. That being said I'm happy that both threats have been taken care of.

Sang, my adorable, lovable, and still naive main character is such a god damn sweetheart. She is very sympathetic to everyone in this group and her family. I still despise Marie and her parents.. but damn that girl has such a big heart. I loved that she's admitted (to herself) that she loves all of the guys but it also kind of breaks my heart a little bit that she always blames herself for when the guys hold back. Yeah, they all want to kiss her and vice versa.. but damn she could take the initiative and kiss them.

Now out of all the guys, I am glad that Nathan finally admitted the whole love thing to Victor.. but hot damn, that boy is being a bit selfish. I know that it's going to bite him in the ass in the next book. Or maybe I'm just hoping it will? I don't want them to break up (the whole group I mean) and I don't want this promise ring to put a dent in them either. My heart and emotions are all over the place right now. I can't wait to dive into the next book.

Out of all the guys, I really just want to see Sang with Mr. Blackborne more. There's something there and I just want it come out. That doesn't mean I don't want to her interact with the other guys less.. but it's so agonizingly slow waiting for them all to admit to loving her and shit. I just want sparks and chemistry between them all so freaking much. I need this to happen way before I get to last book of this series.. or I will die.

These books are crazy

The more these books go, the more insane things happen. There's new, synthetic drugs that make people go crazy. There's abuse and attempted rape. Bomb threats and scandals. Wow. I do find the stories interesting, especially the romance between Sang and 9 guys, that itself could be the entire plot. I'm happy that some progress is being made with the romance finally. I just wish Sang could defend herself a little more when she's constantly being attacked. The boys taught her some self defense and after all the times it's happened, you would think she'd get better at fighting people off. Maybe next book?

An avid fan of the Ghostbird series, and all other books by C.L. Stone, I was incredibly excited to read book 6, released in June 2014. In this book we see how Sang gets closer to her academy boys, and at the same time further from her sister Marie. Now that Marie knows Sang isn't her real sister, she hates her more. Marie blames Sang for her mum being in hospital, even for their dad leaving them; none of which was Sang's fault.

At the same time, there's always a problem that needs to be solved in the Academy, so Sang is busy trying to help the boys there, and it doesn't help that Nathan's horrible father turns up unexpectedly. McCoy is still out there somewhere, as is Volto and everyone is watching their step because of Hendricks watchful eyes.

I loved reading this chapter in the series and cannot wait until October when book 7 is released. Sang is getting more confident with the boys but more confused with her feelings too! No spoilers but I'm scared that there will be more trouble between the academy boys in the next book. I just hope it doesn't ruin their family :/

Favourite Quotes:

"She fell over," Nathan said.
"Yeah," Gabriel said. "I thought girls fainted all graceful. She just crashed."

It seemed the more time I spent with them, the more I felt their absence when they were gone.

The anger in the pit of my stomach eased a bit more every day the longer I stopped thinking about it. It turned into numbness, and from there, it became easier to examine - from a distance.

"Nathan still has to go with you two," North said.
"It doesn't take three of us to take Sang out," Gabriel said.
"No, it takes Nathan, or me, or Silas to keep you three stooges out of trouble. And Silas and I have to work the diner. So either Nathan goes or you all stay."
"I'm a stooge?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
North smirked at me. "Sang Baby, you're the stooge."

"Good thing, too. If I hadn't gone through with it, I never would have met Owen..." He squeezed tighter at my feet, reassuring. "Or you. That would have been tragic if I'd missed you."

"Experimenting is how you figure shit out."

"Kota? We've got a problem. Yeah, another one."

"Shut up, I'm talking to her," he snapped at whoever it was. "Sang, Victor says hi."
"Hi Victor."
"She said hi, now fuck off."

As we started up the stairs towards Marie's room, I felt worse and worse about not being able to tell either of them. Secrets appear worse on the outside.

"I don't know. You broke her. You fix her." There was shuffling. "I'm going to go wash the dishes."
"I already did," Mr Blackbourne said, although his voice was almost too soft to hear.
"I'm going to go break one then!"
"Don't..."
"They're my dishes! I'll do it if I want to."

I started this series with a seed of doubt and a bunch of reviews telling me not to. A friend told me it would basically ruin my life. I've figured it out though and this review isn't so much about the book but more about the series as it stands at this moment.

These books are for all of the lonely hearts out there that hold onto the hope that all it takes is one person to reach out and suddenly, you have everything that you need and people that finally understand. Sang has been deprived all of the love and affection that most people grow up with and when Kota reaches out in the first book, he is opening the door to having friends and being in a real family. It gives you hope that even the most damaged of us can still bounce back as long as we have support and people that care.

We, as readers, are willing to ignore the cliched characters and the slow (glacial) romances that are building because I believe that many of us see ourselves in Sang just a little bit and are hoping that someone will reach out to us and we are hoping that that's all it will take.

These characters that C.L. Stone have created are unrealistic in so many ways. A guy who is 20 is a doctor. All the boys are willing to share and cooperate when it comes to Sang. But she has also captured this part of human nature that craves to be around people like you and wants approval, affection, and a sense of belonging to something or someone. She has given that to all of these lost boys and given it to Sang as well.

So despite the silliness of the books in general, they still speak and I'll still read them and love them.

C.L Stone had done it again!!!!!!

I have done it yet again. I have devoured another one of C.L's books within 3 hours. She has succeeded in making each new book in this series better than the one before. This book has much more drama than you can ever imagine. To make this easier, I'm going to name off some characters and summarize their role in this book.

Sang: Sang has been one of my favorite characters in the book. She is assertive, hard-working, and strong, mentally and physically. She deals with a lot of drama in this book. Between Rocky drama, Mr. Griffin, Jade, and much more, she has loads of problems to deal with. It pains me to say that she deals with some hard situations and uncomfortable decisions, but she will get through them, not without scars and bruises though. As some might know, this is the book in which Sang gets her first kiss....Let's just say the kiss won't disappoint any readers. Just know everyone will get their kiss. Okay, moving on..

Nathan: Nathan is the main character in the book and also my favorite for this book. When his dad comes back he has to learn to stand up for himself and fight back a little. Nathan struggles to convey his feelings to Sang in this book also. He doesn't want to hurt her but he finds out how she feels in one of the bad situations that happens to her. He will rise to the occasion as the main guy for this book.

Kota: I'm sad to say that you don't see much of him in this book. Luckily, no drama happens involving him in this book. Although he is not in this book a lot, he does have a nickname for her. ;)

Victor: I seriously love Victor. (DON'T CONTINUE IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE OTHER BOOKS) As you know since he admitted his love to Sang in the last book, he is more in sync with his feelings for her. He continues to spoil her and treat her like a "princess".

North: North has good parts just this book. He finally gets to take her out on that date. (That's all I'm gonna say.............)

Silas: Silas is pretty popular at their school. He is supposedly the one dating Sang and he tries to claim her as best as he could so she doesn't get any trouble with the guys. Silas will have some punches to throw around....Don't worry.....it will be epic. ;)

Luke: Luke oh Luke! I am seriously in love with him. He is the best. He has some good roles in her but not the biggest......

Gabriel: Gabriel doesn't have too much roles but he will get some fun time with Sang.....

Mr. Blackbourne: I believe every book we read, every time we get a little more of him. He is like a onion. You keep peeling and peeling. One layer= one book. He opens up a little more.

Sean aka Dr. Green: Sean gets a lot of roles in this book. He and Sang connects a lot more. Let me just tell you know.....He will do something unexpected but not what you think. or maybe it is. Teehee.

Other characters:
Rocky: Stirs up some trouble... So does..
Danielle
Marie
Jade (You'll find out something disturbing about her)
Will: He gets literally one part in the book. Oh and it is good.
Karen: She will help Sang out in some hard situations
Jay: Not as bad as you think
Overall, this book is very good. The books before have been almost a little more tender and fragile. It was as if they were glass. Something could go wrong and BOOM it shatters! This book feels more real and solid. I am finally getting a taste if the real life of the Acadamy. Oh and if you have read The Thief just know you'll see some of them on and off in the book. Once again I strongly recommend this book. It is worth the four dollars that you planned to use at McDonald's. So worth it!! This isn't a book in the series you can skip. Don't even try. I swear once you read it you will love it.
Btw, if your not a fan of the reverse harem thing going on than don't read. (I honestly don't understand when people leave a bad review when they know it's going to be centered around that) Anyways, I hope you enjoy the much as I did. I really whole heartedly did!!

HOLY CLIFFHANGER, STONE!! I’m only DYING HERE.

DYING.

I just found out that this book was recently published, oh, yesterday? And I FREAKED THE BLEEP OUT. I also happen to feel ashamed that I was unaware of the publication date having passed. I suck.

But I bought it and I read it and let me tell you, this series gets better and better.

I am so inexplicably attached to all of these characters, I can’t even tell you. Okay, so that’s a lie. I’m about to tell you exactly how much I love these characters.

Sang is as unsure of herself as ever, and usually in a MC that bothers me, but it never has in this series. Because Sang has more than enough reason to be cautious and indecisive. I mean, she’s only been sheltered to the extreme her entire life and endlessly drilled by her stepmother about how evil the world is, and that you can’t trust anyone. Not to mention the abusive, torturous punishments her stepmother doled out on her.

So yeah, I get her innocence and naïveté.

And because of said lack of experience, her interaction with the guys is torturous. But that wasn’t a bad thing–it made me root for her all the more! She doesn’t know if the boys all care about her and like her because she’s never had experience in this situation and hasn’t really had the chance to witness any romantic encounters because of how sheltered she was growing up. But they all acted like they felt something for her but would never kiss her on the mouth and she didn’t understand why.

Don’t worry, Kota Silas North Gabriel Nathan Luke Victor someone finally mans up and kisses her.

But who?

Because there are so many male leads in these books, we don’t always get to spend as much time with some as we do with others. This time around, I was bloody THRILLED to have Dr. Green and Mr. Blackbourne around more! *doe eyes* We get to see more to them and learn more about them and feel their relationships with Sang grow. Heck, my relationship with them grew, too.

Is there such a thing as being too invested in characters?;)

(Because I LOVE THEM.)

And holy heavy swoons. You think the previous books were all swoony and addicting? Well, yeah they were, but this book tops them ALL!

I felt like this time around the developing romance took the wheel and Academy business took the backseat. The focus was more on the characters and their relationships than on the issues going on at Ashley Waters High School. We do find out more about the real reason The Academy wants the boys at Ashley Waters to begin with, and we find out about how the synthetic drug JH14 is affecting the school–a tie-in to the Scarab Beetle series. But the swoons took the lead on this one and I will never complain because I LOVE ALL THESE GUYS.

I doubt there will ever be an Academy book I won’t love, and I can NOT wait for the next book to release this fall! I have no idea how many books are going to be written in this series, but honestly? I hope they never stop. Keep ‘em coming, Stone, because I can’t stop reading them!

5/5 STARS;)

I am so addicted to this series! Mostly it's like watching a train wreck! I love it and feel like it's wrong to love it! What's worse is that I actually ended up angry at Nathan by the end of this book and that is just so wrong! lol

C.L. Stone writes in such a captivating way and the characters are so believable! I'm completely engrossed and can't stop reading! Best series I've read in a long time leaving me so conflicted but loving it!

This installment in the series is meant to focus on building the relationship between Nathan and Sang, but so much other stuff happens!! The drama with school and Principal Hendricks heats up as the team try to figure out who is distributing a dangerous drug. Nathan's abusive father returns and there are a few confrontations that occur and Nathan seeks comfort from Sang. And shocker! Sang finally gets kissed , but As Sang explores her feelings for each guy in the group, more of them are exposed to Mr. Blackbournes plan to keep the group together.

I'm enjoying this series. It's a GOOD YA series - while it has too much language in it for me to recommend for middle school (plus there are drugs and physical violence in this book), I like that there is a lot of action in the plot, but the romance is a slow burn - I mean we are on book 6 and she JUST got kissed! I also find myself smiling and laughing at the antics of these teenagers, reminding me how fun it was to be young.

So yeah, 5 deserved stars. This series is officially my guilty pleasure, and I regret nothing.
Unfortunately I read a spoiler in a review, I thought I was reading the reviews of the previous book, but that's okay, I freaked anyway.

I'm not to talk anything about what happen here, just read it.
