Dragons ahead.

Prepare to delve into fiery worlds full of dragons. From hatchlings to ancients. From tame to wild. Many have their own goals, and most want to see the world reduced to ash. To reshape the world in their own reptilian image. Others struggle to survive, but heroes rise among them.

J.E. Feldman

When not penning the next novel, J.E. Feldman focuses on mentoring authors and raising money for charity. The literature world is merely one facet of her life. Feldman haunts car shows, anime conventions, medieval fairs, and whatever else catches her attention.

She enjoys road trips ripe with history, crocheting blankets for the homeless, and can be found reading in cramped bookstores.

A wonderful anthology for a wonderful cause.

Who doesn't love dragons!? Sit down - this book isn't for you.
For the vast majority of us - this anthology hits the sweet spot on so many levels. There's a story for every color, size, and scale shape of dragon-lovers.

The most enjoyable and memorable stories for me (no surprise here) were the longer ones:
"Blue Cardinal" by Sandy R. Stuckless (64 pages)
"Scales of Silver and Stone" by Sierra Jackson (30 pages)
and "Death of a King" by the anthology's curator J.E. Feldman (47 pages)

Each of these authors is a master at pacing and tension. Reading their stories with my "author's glasses" on truly felt like attending a masterclass in short stories.

I hope to someday reach that level with my own stories, but I enjoyed reading "Take the Leap" (my 61 page offering) squashed in between the dragon tales of this anthology. I hope you enjoy it too :) .

*Make sure to leave a review and a prayer for the families affected by the recent hurricanes in the US that the proceeds from Dragon Flight will go to support.
