This could have been a much better book if it didn't go overboard and include many irrelevant twists and turns which made the book kind of a mess for me.
Normally, it had such a good plot line. The prologue started in a very interesting way. It made me want to read more and more.
Angelina was a character hard to understand first but later when you learn what made her like this, you understand and feel pity for her.
The hero, Seth, is too good to be true. Way too good to be true. He also magically appears whenever Angelina is in trouble, like the superman Clark Kent. A bit too unbelievable at times.
Whatever... I still liked the book until page 252. But then just 30 pages before the book ends (the book is 282-pages long), it got crazy, really crazy. When it was clear that we had a happy end and everything was going so well finally, too many absurdities started to happen, too many coincidences which seemed very unlikely and it was like reading a different book which had another plot line about totally something else other than the one I had been reading so far. It felt as if the ending of a totally different novel was copied and pasted at the happy ending of this novel just to prolong the book or delay the happy end (it still has a happy end, don't worry).
Or... or it was like watching the last season of a soap opera, the one which should have ended one or two seasons before but with some unnecessary turns and twists it survived two more seasons, yet very annoying ones...
I felt a bit like this: Oh no, that's enough, please no more !!!!
So, until page 252, it was at least a 4 or 4,5- star read for me but then, it lost all its credibility. In my opinion, the last 30 pages spoiled the integrity of the book.
So, this turns out as a 3-star read for me... Or maybe 3,5...

I was privileged to get a copy of Until I Met You from the lovely Jaimie Roberts (no I'm not calling you a bitch as you requested. ..but your an amazing bitch!)
oh my days this books was totally amazing. I could not put it down.
I loved all the characters especially Sexy Seth (what I'd do to that man if were real...mmm) and Angelina a head strong young lady that had me in tears laughing!
The storyline was not what I expected at all...In fact it totally threw me, to the point of screaming WTF several times at my kindle! Just when you thought the story couldn't get any more gripping...something else grabbed you...the suspense is edge of your seat stuff!
I'm not giving anything away I'm afraid...you won't get any spoilers out of me!! Read it yourself and you'll know exactly what I talking about. .. just know that this book is Hilarious, Sexy, Emotional & Super Gripping.

Angelina is a 26 year old girl from Cornwall - she's always lived in the little town she grew up in, but she doesn't want the same things all her friends and family want...find a guy and get married and have children. She doesn't want to fall in love - it's not for her. She has a guy, Brian - to scratch her sexual itches - but that's over now - poor guy fell in love with her.
But the good thing is - she's leaving town for the big city.
London is calling in the form of a job offer from one of Dad's friends.
One of Dad's really hot friends - but nope - not going there again - something almost happened between them once - but it would be too weird to start something with a friend of her Dad's
Now she's in London and she's fitting right in with her co-workers at the real estate agency.
Then she meets him - Seth Jacobs.
A millionaire client of the agency. And since they first bumped into each other on the street they're totally attracted to each other.
Only Angelina doesn't do that - she's never been this confused about a guy before and that's why she's trying to fight off his every attempt to get closer to her.

I REALLY LOVED THE BOOK!!!
This was such a cute and funny and sexy romance - full of sexual tension between those 2!!! It takes them a while to get together of coures - because Angelina doesn't want to feel all those feelings for a guy.
But the way to their HEA is sooo adorable to watch..... sometimes even a bit frustrating...
you want to slap the girl silly for not jumping into bed and into something serious with this hot millionaire☺
But we can understand her - after whatever she's been through as a teenager - she has the right to behave like that ☺
It really was the perfect book
with everything you need in a story...

Hm - maybe it was a bit too british for my tastes ☺ lots of british words (like: whilst☺) and phrases were used, some I didn't understand the meaning of...But it didn't bother me all that much..
Another thing - which didn't bother me but you notice is, that Jaimie seems to be a huge fan of Fifty Shades and maybe even Crossfire .... a few similarities here and there ☺...
But that's totally ok - lots of new authors out there started writing after reading #FSOG ☺
BUT - I TOOOOOOTTAALLLYY ENJOYED READING THE BOOK....
I couldn't stop reading - I had to know what will happen...
If you like sexy & funny Romances with a really hot Millionaire - GO AND BUY THE BOOK!!!! ☺

4 Baseball Cap Wearing Stars

Two worlds collide and the colossal impact will have you wanting to throw your e-reader across the room for a while and then once you pick it up, you will find yourself thinking "why did I throw that again?"
Angelina will have you bouncing off the walls and wanting to tie her up until she quits with all her indecisions. But then again, once you understand why she runs so much, you will empathize with her. Trust was not something that was in her vocabulary after a tragic accident when she was a young teenager. But don't let the complexity of her character fool you, she is smart, take no bull professional at work and she takes her job very seriously.
I didn't want him here. I wanted him far away, so I could go back to my normal life I was in control of. When I looked at this man, my control wavered. I didn't like it.
She literally bumps into Seth and what Seth wants, he gets. So when Angelina turns him down, it makes for a great challenge. Angelina knows Seth is a playboy but what she doesn't know is that it's all a cover to protect himself. All he wants is his Angel since he has first seen her. Oh and did I mention-he's hot, hot and even hotter!!!
I'm going to catch my fallen angel, and when I do, I'm not letting her go."� He bolted towards the tree, causing me to squeal my head off.
But Angelina doesn't do that-¦she hates commitment and won't be broken again. Funny thing is, she can't place the feelings that she has for Seth. She has never been this confused over a guy and the more she fights this attraction between her and Seth the more she runs. Only when she runs back to her parents' house, Seth follows but doesn't totally push.
Just when she finally lets herself really feel something from her past sends things spiraling out of their control. This twist will have you scratching your head, yelling WTF?, and tossing the reader aside, but we all know what kind of readers we are- we pick it back up and we push through. Trust me, I didn't see it coming and it had my head spinning.
It was then I realized just how perfect he was for me. He has managed to do the one thing no man I have ever encountered has done. He taught me to love. He also taught me that it was okay to be loved, that I should welcome it with open arms and realize that I had the right to have someone special in my life. Someone whole.
I loved all the characters in this book. Seth and his baseball cap and dimples had me swooning and Angelina's stubbornness is a great attribute that I look forward to seeing in the leading lady. Both of their families kept you on your toes.
It was a great read that had some difficult times, which will keep your fingers swiping to find out if they get their HEA. The chance, the angst, the chemistry and the stand up, sit down, fight, fight, fight moments were totally freaking rocking!!!!
Come on, life, let me have it. Just you give it your best shot!!!

Where do I begin with a review of my own book?
Well...
Angelina will drive you barmy. You will want to grab her, shake her and generally bat her over the head with a large implement. She runs away quite a bit and that may also drive you crazy.
However, just take your time with this book. I appreciate it will start off driving you mad, but by the end of it, I'm sure you will understand why. Your frustration will hopefully turn to empathy for Angelina's character. She is broken and Seth mends her piece by piece. They fight, they banter, they play, but most of all, they find each other and fall in love. Who could ask for more?
The book sends you on a roller-coaster ride with more twists and turns than a twisty-turny thing! This is why you have to start reading it now!!
I may have to use some kind of hypnosis to make you read it.

Love this book so much! It has some pretty funny moments that I laughed pretty hard. That twist literally had my mouth dropped to the floor.
Angelina had a horrible past. If it wasn't for her best friends she wouldn't be here. Now she is closed off and won't let anyone near her broken heart. Until Seth comes along. I love Seth's character. I fell for him hard. Can Seth crack Angel's barrier?

NOTE: That I only read until the end of Chapter 6 (page 91) for this book and did not finish it prior to publishing this review.
I got this book as an Amazon Freebie one day and decided to read it right away because of the positive reviews on Goodreads and the synopsis captured my attention (also, I needed a standalone novel for my blog post this week). But once I was 50 pages in I started to wonder if I was reading the same thing as everyone else…
I can get past the slightly sloppy writing and editing errors when reading a book, especially ones that I get for free on Amazon because they are mostly self-published. And that was my plan going into this book after reading the reviews. However, I can’t get past slow plot lines and annoying heroines. I almost enacted my 50 page rule but decided to give the book the benefit of the doubt because we hadn’t met Seth yet (yes, that’s how slow the book is) and I had hoped he was going to save the book.
He didn’t…
And the reason is Angelina. Of course every man in the world is attracted to her and I have no idea why. For a 26 year old woman she acts like she’s 15 at times. Perhaps I expected her to be more mature considering “her secret from the past” but I was very disappointed in her as a character. I just didn’t like her at all and because the book is told solely from her POV it irritated me beyond belief. Lots of other reviews said she was “funny”–again, I fail to see how. I laugh at everything and I never laughed at anything she said/did. I just didn’t like her.
As I mentioned before, the book was slow. Certain plot points weren’t needed. For example the first chapter could have been greatly reduced to get the same message across and get into the thick of things. Because from what I’ve read from others’ reviews, there were some great twists along the way. I just wish we got that momentum earlier in the book because I probably would have stuck it out if we did.
Overall: As of this moment, I don’t have any plans to finish this book. I was 1/3 of the way through when I stopped reading and I really don’t feel like I missed out on anything as I write this review. Just poor execution and nothing original (from what I read) in terms of contemporary romance. Pass.

I was kindly offered the chance to read an arc of this book by Jaimie Roberts, and if I'm being totally honest, I was a little apprehensive, as I've never heard of this author before, and was unsure of what to expect. Thankfully, my apprehension was unfounded.
This is a well written, fluid book, and for me, it was very much a book of two halves. We are introduced to Angelina as a 15 year old girl in the prologue, then the story continues on the morning of her sisters wedding, some years later in rural Cornwall.
Angelina is a headstrong girl, and for reasons that we learn of much later on, she refuses to fall in love and settle down. A job opportunity arises, and this is where we see her move to London to work for family friend as an estate agent. It is here where we are introduced to the gorgeous playboy, Seth. For me, this first half of the book plodded along and nothing much occurred or was divulged. Angelina and Seth have an immediate attraction to each other but she is playing very hard to get for such a long time that it was getting very frustrating. Even though she was clearly attracted to him, she refused every single advance he made towards her.
Then, in the second half of the book, the story hots up and it's at this point where I literally couldn't put this book down. This book touches on some very disturbing and difficult themes and we learn why Angelina refuses to let love in. We also learn that Seth is not all he seems.
This is an emotional roller coaster of a read and just when you get used to the revelation of their respective back stories, a great big mahoosive bombshell literally comes out of nowhere. I truly didn't see this coming and this revelation shocked and upset me, to say the least.
All in all this is a great read with some difficult themes, that will keep you turning the pages until the very end. It made me laugh and cry in equal measures and if you're looking for a new bbf then look no further than the adorably sexy Seth. I loved Angel and Seth together and their chemistry was electric.

This is the story of a woman (Angelina) who has built up walls due to a tragic event in her past and the man (Seth) who is determined to tear down those walls to make her his. She fights the attraction to Seth who is so ridiculously handsome that women fall all over him wherever he goes. Angelina finally gives in and things are going well. There's the inevitable dangerous, tense moment when her past catches up with her, but that's quickly resolved.
I have to say this book provided me with a true "I did not see that coming" moment later. Everything gets addressed and our couple starts down the path to their HEA.

I truly loved this book, even though it brought out extreme emotions in me. But in my opinion, if a book doesn't evoke an emotion its not a good book!
We meet Angelina the morning of her sisters wedding and the day before she escapes to London. She feels that this will give her a fresh start. With one last fling she says good by to Cornwall. When she meets Seth for the first time he sparks all sorts of emotions within her and that makes her angry, which she tells him bluntly. She is trying to protect herself and her past, but she is not the only one!
Angelina's character is complex, which I love! She is a straight shooting professional when at work, unless its with Seth and then its balls to the wall hostility and sexual tension. I like Angelina a lot but she runs A LOT! Really! Where does she get the energy!
Seth character in the beginning is one of a playboy and his bunnies! But we quickly finds that he is using them just as a shield, all he wants is his "Cookie" (Angelina) and is determined to have her!
This book is well written, flows seamlessly and sparks emotion. It is a stand alone and the plot twists will astound you! It deals with lots of mature issues, so if you are looking for some flighty, light hearted romance this book is not for you! If you want lead characters with issues and hot sex, its perfect!
This book earns a 10 out of 10 for emotionally devastating me and restoring my faith in true love all at the same time.

The prologue started off interesting and wanting to find out what happens next. For the first few chapters it was about Angelina's sister getting married and her moving to London which I found the 4 hour drive not to be that big of a deal when moving away from family and being on your own, so as reading it got a little annoying how the move was a big deal for a 26 year old. Next was how her and Seth meet, thought her bumping into him on the street and him immediately wanting her so bad after a few sentences being exchanged, which from then on he seemed obsessed with conquering and making her his. I honestly didn't feel that greatly connected to characters and didn't really feel swoon worthy over Seth, playboy with 'bunnies' to loving the challenge of someone that wasn't wanting to drop her panties for him. Then when they actually got to know each other better, by that I mean him still trying to crack her into being with him..... When she does they share a few heated scenes. Nothing that spectacular then a bomb gets dropped. I didn't think it made this storyline any more enjoyable, in fact I think it made it worse, an affair would of been sufficient but I think this just went overboard and then it seemed from then on things got wrapped up pretty quickly but still didn't feel completed.

wow just wow!!
I was given an arc for an honest review!!....my honest opinion ...that was a bloody fab read!!!
A persistant, baseball cap wearing,sexy as sin smart arse...who would'nt take no for an answer....who would'nt love seth?? Im a sucker for baseball hats!! He met his match with strong, independant, smart mouth stubborn 'angel', I loved the banter between these two...I had many LOL moments!! I had a few wtf moments.....stand up, sit down, rub my eyes....thinking nope no way ...WTF??? A perfect little twist to this wonderful story!!
This book flowed perfectly from start to finish....I Love the chase!! the angsty chemestry between these two was just perfect!!
It took me a few days to get into it...Real life sucks....but once i hit around 40% i was unable to put it down! a fantastic read people!
once again a massive thankyou to the very talented jaimie...i am so glad we persisted with the emails :-) 5 massive shiney stars from me!!

Well where do I start, Angelina is an amazing character she made me laugh, cry, I got annoyed with her a little at times but in all fairness I can totally understand why she acts the way she does.
She moves away to start a new job after seeying her sister get married.
She then happens to meet Seth and my god he is one hot piece of specimen.
There actions towards each other made me laugh so much. Angelina is one stubborn girl and then you have Seth who is such a gent to her.
My god both of these characters go threw such a turmoil in this book and at one point I was sitting at the edge of my seat in pure shock. I don't want to give anymore away but I will say Please read this books it's brilliant.

Received this book as an ARC Copy from the author Jaimie Roberts in a competition on Facebook. I definitely wasn't disappointed! I loved the story and was drawn to the characters from the start. I loved the character of Seth Jacobs (he is definitely going to feature in my fictional book boyfriend list! - I'm a sucker for a hot British, playboy with dimples!) The chemistry between Seth and Angelina was off the scale hot and the story had me gripped. The twist was amazing and did not see it coming at all! It had me laughing out loud at some parts and made me shed a little tear towards the end. First book I have read by Jaimie Roberts and it will not be the last! Thank you for sending me an ARC! Good luck with the book when it's finally released on June 1st! :)

These characters are very different from the ones in the Take series also by Jaimie but they are in no way any worse. I would in some ways even say this book is better..
It is so amazingly written and It really takes you on a roller-coaster ride of emotions because it has some awesome twists that you would never be able to predict.. I really had my heart in my throat a few times because of these twists and that is so absolutely a good thing cuz I love when a book grabs you that much...
Last but not least.. I will have to recommend this book to a lot of people and tell them that I almost read the entire book in one day because I barely was able to put it down :D It really is that good <3

I received this book as a gift.... And what a gift!!! I have been a fan/friend of Jaimies for a while and loved her previous books but this one was by far my favourite! I love love love loved it! It had everything... Suspense, independent female character, cheeky hot rich male lead (who wore a freaking baseball cap... Thats all i'm saying) it had drama, it had sex, romance, honestly just brilliant!

OMG I laugh so much while reading this book. Honestly Seth and Angelina are just priceless!!! I kept a smile on my face until I was left totally frozen in shock by the end of the book!! I mean REALLY??? WTF???? Can that kind of situation happen in real life? I really hope not because there would be nothing more devastating.
But like in every fairy tale, and this one sure looks like one :), everything ends as it should, with all characters happy and in love.

If you like the take charge kind of man that will not take no for an answer and a little cockiness turns you on then this book is for you. Throughout this entire book I thought I knew what was going to happen and BAM Jaimie surprises you with things you never expected. I found myself laughing, crying, happy and hot all in one book. I am not a writer and I suck at writing reviews but I will say you have to read this book.

The prologue really hooks you. Then, to read how stubborn Angelina is and the fact that Seth will not back down only make the chemistry more is even better. There are definitely laughable moments, moments that Seth does swoon worthy things, but then boom! There is a MAJOR twist and I have to admit I got angry because I wasn't prepared for it, but then BOOM there's another twist! This is definitely a book to read.

Really good book. I loved the story and Angelina and Seth were amazing people. Even though i have never had to go through the things that they had gone through in their life, I felt an intense connection to them and found myself caring for them so much. I thought I had the story figured out and it shocked me several times. Basically I loved this book

3.5 Stars for most of the book. It wasn't that it was "not good", just typical romance stories we have read a hundred times. However, 4 Stars for the last few pages. I cannot tell you in words how shocking this was. I mean, WTF!!?? In the end it was glorious!! I am so in love with the ending!!

Wow one drama after another! Loved Seth and Angelina...Seth pursued his Angel in a hot, sexy and just plain gorgeous manner. Their ups and downs had me holding my breath more than once but I'm eternally grateful to Jaimie for their HEA as I did wonder at one stage if it would ever happen :-)
