Calla writes a variety of genres from sci-fi, fantasy, paranormal, to contemporary romance novels. I have read a few of her books and each one is totally different to the others. This book is a Sci Fi story and the visuals she brings in her writing transports you to another place. I really enjoyed this book.
There is drama and suspense, danger, steamy scenes and romance. The world is well-crafted is engaging and entertaining with fully developed and endearing characters.

I am loving this series!! Jarzell knew from the movement he rescued Rita and her sisters she was the one for him. He knew she needed time to heal so he backs off. Rita has been don’t blow after blow in her previous life before coming to Saedo that she closes herself off from everybody. Will Jarzell be able to bring her back to life?

Ok, so the other books in this series have been more your traditional romance than this one. By that I mean it was more alien meets human and falls in love with just a little bit of action. This has quite a bit more action and other-worldliness to it. Jarzell pretty much knew from the first time he saw her, when he along with others rescued Rita and her sisters, that Rita was the one for him. His starmate for the ages but he also saw that she needed more healing time and so decided to wait before he put himself foward. Rita has dealt with much pain in her life previous to coming to Saedo and had closed herself off to the world a lot. Somehow seeing Jarzell had unlocked something in her and she began to sketch again. Will the healing continue and why does it seem like their relationship is linked on some strange level to the planet itself?

Jarzell and Rita's Story . . .

Jarzell, one of the alien soldiers who rescued Rita and her sisters, knew immediately that Rita was his mate. But he also knew that she needed time to heal before he approached her about a relationship. But Rita, an artist, can’t stop thinking of the attractive star-being who rescued her.

Working in the library on Saedo, Rita discovered that a sacred tablet is missing, so she calls for help. Rita hasn’t seen the handsome alien who saved her, so she has been sketching him from memory when he suddenly appears in front of her. He is the one who will be helping to investigate the missing tablet, which is a good opportunity to get to know him. Rita had experienced a bad relationship with someone in the past and is still struggling about whether she wants to get involved with love again. Can Jarzell help her to see how he feels about her, how he treasurers her? Will she discover she is ready to be loved and she can trust her heart to him?

Rita works in the library on Saedo she loves her job but she has discovered that the sacred tablet of Saedo is missing so she calls for help. When Rita and her sisters were saved from the Ulkrins by the Saedo soldiers Rita met Jarzell the powerful green alien who is gorgeous but she hasn’t seen him since Rita and her sisters were saved so she started to sketch pictures of him, guess who came to investigate the missing sacred tablet that’s right it was Jarzell. There is so much more going on in this fantastic story I loved it and I highly recommend this book.

This amazing and well-written book 5 in the Soldiers of Saedo Book Series was a quick alien romance with an intriguing story full of suspense, action, and fated mates. The characters were well crafted with amazing connections, unique personalities, good histories and interesting interactions. Definitely a must read short story. This story has strong women, attractive star-beings, and galactic adventures infused with romance.

Rita was one of the sisters that the alien soldiers rescued. Rita only saw Jarzell that one time and then didn't see him for a while. They end up meeting again the the sacred tablet disappears from the Village Library where Rita works. But Rita has a secret that she's been sketching Jarzell so he has become her muse. There is plenty of romance in this story with action, suspense, and fated mates. Loved the characters and their connection was amazing. They were made for each other. This series is a must read. I loved Callas new book. It has a smoking hot alien soldier called Jarzell and a sassy women called Rita who is an artist. Marcelo reached Rita and knew instantly that she was his mate. He leaves to let her heal but can only wait so long to claim his mate . Will Rita succumb to Jarzells charm and can make her understand that she is his star mate. Read the story to find out how this couple call in love. You won't be disheartened by this story. So worth reading.

The fifth book in the Soldiers of Saedo series another well written story in this series that kept me turning pages. Human Artist Rita and star-being Jarzell's story of a caring man giving the woman who he is coming to love time to heal and accept him. The story was well worth reading and I would recommend. An absolutely cute alien love story with such great characters. Rita was crushed in the past, and her trust was nearly destroyed. But Jarzel is there, to love and help Rita. These two are so sweet. Great writing and I highly recommend!!.

How can you tell if you’ve found true love? For Rita this is a difficult question to answer having been badly hurt by her previous lover, Philip.

Now that she and her sisters are living in Saedo on the planet Celeron, having been rescued on Earth from the evil Ulkrons by some Saedo soldiers, Philip should be far from her mind.

The trouble is that he destroyed her feelings of self worth and self confidence, making it difficult to move on from such a destructive relationship.

All is not as it should be in the village library where Rita has found a job. One of the precious tablets of Saedo has disappeared and Jarzell, one of the soldiers who rescued her and her sisters, has come to help her find it.

A teal coloured mist surrounds Jarzell which Rita sees and understands that this means that he is her star being mate. But what does the white smoke that wafts off of Rita mean? When the two colours join together the person to ask is Grandma Ova.

Will Jarzell help Rita to finally forget the hurtful things that Philip said to her? Will he help her get her self confidence back enough to begin to paint again?

A lovely love story with a hint of mystery and battles to be fought and won.

Calla Zae weaves the threads of this story together beautifully. There is no slushy romance or overtly described sex scenes just a gentle love story.

Romance in the Stars

Another sister meets her Starmate in this latest addition to the Soldiers of Saedo series. I loved Jazeel.and Rita together but at first she drove me crazy with her self doubt. I felt like she was too cautious seeing as how her sisters had found the same kind of love in previous books. But the storyline moved along and she FINALLY quit her moaning and groaning and reliving the past. The series has great characters and absolutely fantastic world building. There’s so steam but it’s more lyrical than graphic which makes this author stand out as an alien romance writer. I loved it.

Human woman, Rita, is making a good life on Saedo since she (and her sisters) were rescued from kidnapping at the hands of the evil Ulkrins. Rita and her sisters chose to stay and make their new homes on their adoptive alien world and four of Rita’s sisters have even found love on Saedo. Rita is not looking for love, she has demons of her own. She is an artist without the will to paint. To refocus her energy, Rita works in the local library, watching over one of the sacred texts of Saedo. She is coming to terms with her past and learning to overcome her previous heartbreak. Her memories of one of the soldiers who rescued her and her sisters is tempting her to draw again. Is this new muse what she needs to finally heal and move on from her past?

Darkness is lurking beneath the tranquil surface of Saedo. The Ulkrins want Saedo for themselves, and that is not the only darkness tainting this peaceful world. Strange portals keep opening on the surface ejecting terrible monsters who attack without warning. When the sacred text disappears from the library, Rita is reunited with her solider muse, Jarzell.

Together they must find the missing sacred text and find a way to stop the Ulkrins and the portals from destroying Saedo. Rita’s attraction to Jarzell as a muse explodes into real life at their close proximity. Jarzell’s attraction to Rita ignites a flame that he cannot ignore. Together their love becomes magical. Indeed their energy is magical, and may be what finally saves Saedo from the monsters.

Rita is one of the sisters that were rescued. Jarzell was one of the aliens in that group and she remembered him. He is giving her time to heal before he approaches her with the knowledge of their mate bond. She can only think of him and paints pictures of him multiple times before he comes back for her and a mission to find out where an icon has disappeared to.
The characters and storyline were well written, with twists, surprises and drama. The romance was nicely done with support and intense feelings. Loved the adventure and locale. Great ending.

Jarzell and Rita's story is sweet. Rita is healing from the emotional trauma that her scars from an accident she received from her boyfriend. In Jarzell she see some of the same traits her ex had that made her feel less. Can she see beyond that to who Jarzell really is and give him a chance? He's been her muse since since they had been rescued. Does she have the courage to let him in? Jarzell knows someone has hurt her, and knows that he has to move carefully if he wants to be with her. I love these stories, I just wish that it was a little longer. Great characters and worldbuilding.

A fascinating new alien world for me, as this was my first read in this series. I liked the way the Hero and the Heroine dreamed about each other. Since I did not read this series in order, I was a little left out of some info. I'd recommend reading them in order if you want to be completely in the loop.

The power of love

This was a powerful story about love and pain and trust I really enjoyed this book it was fast moving it was good I could imagine the people and places from the descriptions that you have placed in the book. Thank you for good story
