When reading the book, you kinda notice that it's written a while ago. I definitely benefited from the book, but I wouldn't say that it's up to date.

The title of this book belies its quality. An excellent reference as well as a read through, gives solid advice on organizing, resumes (excellent examples, even cites font types and sizes), networking and follow through. Good overview of the use of agencies and headhunters and a pretty complete guide to electronic resources. Solid interview information as well. The final group of articles includes 5 sets of 10: 10 ways to get started on the right foot, to keep up your morale, bold interview tactics, most valuable resources for your search, questions most asked by job hunters

A great overall strategy guide to job hunting from the CEO of one of the largest professional staffing firms in the world, Robert Half International, traded on the NYSE, RHI. His firm is also outstanding its field.

School requirement... some good tips, but severely outdated. Recommending I use the high-fangled "World Wide Web" as a resource is just ridiculous at this point.
