I love Alan Lee’s writing and characters!!
I read A LOT and like to read mystery series. I’ve read Grisham, Turow, Patterson and many more. Alan Lee fits right in with the great authors. His characters are funny, have integrity and always do the right thing. I also like the phycological points he makes throughout every book. Not only am I entertained but I can learn a little about the human mind.
Don’t hesitate! Dive now into the worlds of Alan’s many characters lives. You will not be disappointed.

excitement and laughter- a great combo
Distinct characters with real life issues (which are different from mine) and persistence in overcoming challenges at a steady to mind spinning pace. Love that life is not all cut and dried, good or bad, but elements of each.
Really like the conversations that lead me to laugh out loud as it feels all too possible.
The whole series and the related ones are well worth those who enjoy trying to solve the puzzle before the story takes you there.

Read twice
I’ve read every book Alan Lee has published … twice. The first time through, I am amazed by the intrigue, twisty/turny plot, and surprise ending. During my second read, I take time to enjoy his unique and entertaining writing style, while reveling in his characters’ different philosophies of life. In a few years, I’ll probably read them again.

August Books 1-4
Great box set. Mackenzie August is one of the best series being written today. The characters are all very well developed. They’re interesting and human. They have worries and concerns and problems just like the rest of us. The plots are well thought out and hold your attention. Plenty of action and suspense. The entire series is highly recommended.

Love this series
If you like lots of action with witty dialogue then start with this series. There are more books to follow these so once you get in the groove, you wont be left hanging. Both my husband and I wait anxiously for the next one in the series.

One of the best story lines.
These books are excellent! I cannot wait for the next book to come out. The characters are interesting and fun to read about. Makes you want to hang out with them.

77p for four of the best of this genre silly not to!
Having read these through KU I had to get this 4 book set at this ridiculously low price get it while you can!! Have read everything this author has released and am yet to be disappointed

Class AAA Entertainment
Great books by a great author. Keeps me using the dictionary function in Kindle. I love the way Lee writes and it’s easy to embrace the characters and atmosphere of the books. Keep up the awesome work!

Mack and Manny rock!
I tried to figure out which I liked the best: Mack or Manny. I finally gave up because they are both so unique. Together, they are such an awesome team. Then you add in Sheriff Stackhouse. The only thing you can ask more of them is more books!

Superb writing. I loved the interplay and lighthearted banter between the characters. Just enough banter and humor to break up the nonstop action and intrigue. Looking forward to the next books

Really enjoyed reading this set of books. Very creative writing that kept me coming back for more. The interplay between Mack and his son Kix was so very humorous and unique and kept putting a smile on my face. Looking to purchase the next set.

It's true
