Holy mother of god ! This is dark depraved and bloody delicious I couldn’t get enough ! Effie has certainly done it again ! Henry is a creep, Bex is a creep, we are all creeps now !

We all had that teacher either high school college or uni who you looked at and was like mmmm 😍😈
Well imagine that said professor thought that exactly about you 🥵!!

Our FMC Bex had worked her ass off to get into Willem College, she was a good student and prided herself on that, But Miss Benson has a dark depraved sassy side that needed to be unleashed and makes you realise she’s not as innocent as she may look.

Our MMC Henry is a broody maths professor who normally is most probably pretty quiet keeps his personal life hidden, but when Bex runs late into first class with him well this delicious obsession begins.

Effie again has us in a chokehold with her writing but the plot twist ! Girllllllllll I was shocked did not expect that at all !

This is a book of secrets, dark obsessions and just pure filth and I’m here for it ! The plot is amazing characters are fabulous and as always it will have you swooning , kicking your feet giggling, fanning yourself and drooling all in one delicious book 🔥

This book had me intrigued until the plot twist about 3/4 of the way through. I honestly skimmed after that because it just felt a little too bizarre. I'm giving it 3 stars because I enjoyed Henry's filthy mouth and depraved behavior, and the student/professor trope gets me every time. And the book started off pretty strong. But I think I would've preferred it without the twist.

**Side note: C*m coming out of her nose during a BJ session during class seemed like a bit much 😆

Nothing hits quite like the forbidden professor/student trope! Professor Montgomery such a bad boy, under the desk with a class full of students! This isn’t just an ordinary professor, no he’s full of secrets and six fun piercings. He gave her an angry dragon iykyk…I’ve never read about this happening in a book and I couldn’t help but laugh.

This novella was spicy, dirty and has the funnest twist! I love with the FMC is actually the one who’s crazy! Bex has been stalking Henry for years, she saved herself for him, but he never noticed her until she walked into his classroom. He’s stalking her, steals her panties, gets off outside her window…but surprise she’s actually been stalking him for years. Now she’s determined to make him hers forever, nothing is off limits. If you like primal play, forbidden relationships, a little bit of crazy, where’s she’s the stalker you will devour this book!

I will absolutely be going back and reading the first 4 novellas after reading this! These are fun standalones and can be read in any order. Thank you so much to Effie Campbell and her team for sending me this in exchange for my honest review.

She knows what she wants, and she’s a real badass. 😎
She’s a little (a lot?) cray-cray — but hey, that’s okay. 🤭

The story was fast-paced, and the damn plot twist? I didn’t see it coming, so that was a really nice surprise. 😍
I could’ve read 300 more pages of them and still wouldn’t have gotten bored.

Their relationship really isn’t common, to say the least. 🤭

This novella is hands down my favorite in the series. I loved everything about it.

This one was messy, hot, and a little bit wicked—just how I like it. The tension between the characters? Delicious. The spice? Definitely there. Effie Campbell does not hold back when it comes to bringing the heat.

Where it lost me a bit was the pacing. Some parts had me glued to the page, others dragged just enough for me to wish we’d get back to the good stuff. I also wanted a little more emotional depth to balance out all that steam—give me the feels and the filth, you know?

Still, if you’re looking for something bold, provocative, and unapologetically dirty, this is a fun, fast read to devour in one sitting.

I. Am. SHOOK. EFFIE!!!! 😩😩😩😩 Hands down my favorite book in the series. This is book 5 in the Hot Creeps series and I swear I re-read it 3 times already. There is something about a completely unhinged and certifiably crazy FMC that makes me weak in the knees 😍😍😍

Bex is smart…sassy…strong…working hard to get into Willem College for their mathematics department. When she gets there she’s running late to her first class…not the best impression. Henry is the professor…and he is immediately taken with Bex. Something about her draws him in and ignite the secret crazy side he’s been hiding.

They both attend an invite only party where masks are required and use it as an opportunity to explore their forbidden passion for each other. One taste is all it takes to light the flame, and things take off like WILD FIRE!

Henry stalks Bex, watches her every move…and she likes it…a little too much 🤭 The kicker? Bex worked hard for Willem college for more than their mathematics department…she’s been stalking Henry for years..and now that he’s in her web, she’s never letting him go. Making sure he understands that he belongs to her in every way.

This book is dark, crazy, HOT, filthy and unhinged in all the best and most delicious ways. PLEASE…check the trigger warnings because there are A LOT….but if you want to go on a fun, spicy, deranged and unhinged ride that’s full of darkness? Pick this novella up and dive in 😉

Such a Bad Girl is the 5th novella in the Hot Creeps series, and it brings the heat from page one. The story follows Bex, a college student with a very juicy secret 🙊, and Henry, her dangerously hot professor who’s obsessed, and I mean obsessed, with her.

This novella is filthy in the best way possible: dirty talk, stalking, primal vibes, and a few other surprises I’ll let you discover yourself 🪜👀

I absolutely loved the intense power play between Bex and Henry, and the ending left me grinning. And that plot twist?? I did not see it coming, my jaw was on the floor. Effie always pulls you right into her stories, and this one was no exception.

If you’re looking for a quick and filthy read then this is perfect for you.

This is the 5th book in the Hot Creeps novella series and can be read as a stand alone. It follows hot Professor, Henry, who quickly becomes obsessed with his new student Bex.

Does Henry stalk his new student and do some questionable things while watching her through her window? Yes! Yes, he does but Bex is okay with that.
She might just enjoy the attention her hot professor is giving her.

I can’t really say much without spoilers but it’s good! I didn’t see that twist coming 👀

The spice is so good too!

“Such a Bad Girl” is the most fun I’ve had reading the “Hot creeps” series. I think it just keeps getting better and better! Not only do we have one creep in this book, we also have a little of psycho in the character. It is a professor X student romance where Rebecca sees Professor Henry and it’s clearly smitten by him, but Henry also cannot control his urges around her. He stalks her and while Rebecca needs to be focused on her endgame, she also cannot escape his stares.

The book is really amazing, unhinged and absolutely glorious, we need more of these types of stories because Henry and Rebecca are just wild!

There’s a plot twist that makes everything just go from “This is so hot” to … “Oh my God, yes!” and of course we don’t do spoilers here so I guess you will all have to read the book to see! Short and just untamed!

Jesus effing Christ! This book is so beautifully unhinged and so freaking good.

Joined the party late and started on book 5 but being a standalone series, its all good (will read 1 to 4 soon)

So this is a dark romance with a professor mmc x student fmc, there are stalker vibes from the get go and you NEED to read the content warnings beforehand, do not go into this blindly if you are easily triggered.

Effie Campbell is certifiably insane but absolutely fucking brilliant! The way this book started and the way this book ended had me shouting at my kindle but I couldn't get enough, and now all I want is more!

Our MMC, Henry is a University Professor of Maths (I imagine he looks like Henry Cavil in a nice shirt, tie and sweater combo with glasses and floppy dark hair. And looking at the character art, I'm right) he's a little stoic and then she falls into his classroom late on her first day and he's obsessed.

Our FMC, Rebecca/Bex is a petite blonde who wants to work hard and do well, she doesn't make friends easy but she manages and her sassy mouth makes you think maybe she's not that innocent.

The way there relationship develops over talks of a secret society party where everyone wears masks and its a sexual free for all, is so exquisite and the way Bex taunts Henry into getting what he has been fantasising over is the perfect level of Brat.

The twist - GOD DAMN IT'S GOOD - not expected at all, in fact there were a few really odd scenarios my brain jumped to before it became apparent. I read this book in an hour and half, it's that good and has so much tension and spice and darkness packed into a little over 100 pages, I couldn't put it down.

It's well paced as a short read and I don't think the spice overpowers the plot. The characters are great and unique and I love the dynamic - something a bit different to what we are used to in dark romance.

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT, CANT GET ENOUGH! I'D GIVE IT MORE STARS IF I COULD.
I give it a 4 chilli rating for spice as there is dub/con and kink related scenes.

I don't know what it is about Effie's work but there isn't a single book that I've read from her that hasn't delivered.

This is the 5th book in the Hot Creeps Series and I was fortunate enough to receive it as an arc. I finished it and just needed to sit with it for a day because oh my was it good. The twist was not at all what I was expecting and the spice definitely made my husband happy lol.

As much as I can say without spoilers is this is a story about an illicit affair between a student and her professor. The MMC is your typical Effie MMC. Hot, spicy, dominate and very very yummy. The FMC however, I don't think we've seen an FMC quite like Bex. Bear in mind that I haven't read ALL of her books even though I own them. (I've had a slow year from June 2024 to now.) She is the antagonist in this story and I'm here for all of it. I found my self clutching my pearls at the twist after trying to guess what was going to happen/the secret she was hiding and being completely wrong.

The thing I love most about Effie's work is it always done tastefully. The dark isn't too much to handle and dances brilliantly on the line of just enough while caressing my need for more. It's exactly why I have to keep reading her books lol. I need more!

I can't wait for the next book in the series plus whatever else she cooks up afterwards.

Once again Effie has blown my mind!

Starts off as a typical professor/student novella. She’s beautiful, he’s handsome, neither can concentrate when they’re in the same room. He’s conflicted because this is a student, is he willing to throw his whole career down the toilet for a student, regardless of how much he wants her. She’s conflicted because she’s worked so hard to get where she is. Years at community college just to work her way into this program at a university. Can she risk tossing all that work in the trash for a fling with the hot professor?

Then the obsession. Some stalking, panty theft, maybe smearing body fluids on someone’s property. Finally they hook up, sorta. No $3x yet, but some risky behavior in public areas for sure. Then the freaking twist comes out of no where and smacks you in the face!

This is my favorite Hot Creep, hands down. There’s no way Effie can top it. Totally twisted, dark, and dirty and she had me hanging on to every. single. word.

Such a Bad Girl by Effie Campbell is the 5th book in her Hot Creeps novella series. This one revolves around the trope of student and professor and their forbidden obsession with each other. There is some not so mild stalking, rough spicy scenes and when there is stalking there’s chasing of course. There’s a lot of twists and a shocking revelation that is surprising to find in a novella. It’s incredibly unhinged and spicy and a perfect one sitting read.
My favorite thing about this novella is that the female-main-character is just as obsessed, unhinged and willing to do whatever she must to get what she wants as the male character. Effie has a way of writing some baddie female character and Bex is no different.
I’d rate this a 4.5 out of 5 stars. It was read in less than an hour and a half and definitely kept me interested. I loved the power plays between Bex and Henry. It was an interesting dynamic that kept you on your toes.

Such A Bad Girl ARC Review

While spicy, I just didn’t really feel a connection to the characters. I understood the obsession Bex had for Henry but the start of the whole story felt so jarring to me. I almost wish the flashback of him being her old babysitters boyfriend was the start of the story. Set us up for the delulu you know.

Thank you Effie Campbell and team for the opportunity to read book 5 in the hot creeps series. Even though it wasn’t my favorite, it was a spicy novella I can appreciate.

This was such a fun read, I had a blast reading this. I have never read a book that is a studentxprofessor and it was so fun. I also was not expecting that plot twist after they left the party. My jaw was dropped I was not expecting that like at all. But I thought it was such a fun plot twist like I thought it was kinda sweet in a sick and twisted way. I thought the characters were likeable and I wish it would have been a longer read so I could have gotten to know them more. But it was so fun and I definitely need to check out similar reads 😝

This book revolves around a professors obsession with a new student.

What I liked about Effie Campbell's author style is that the characters all have a unique personality and that the plot doesn't necessarily end up where you thought it was going. This fifth novella in the Hot Creeps series had me cackling. I've been in a bit of a reading slump, and this was just what I needed: dark, quick, and twisted.

Just like the previous books, this novella handles dark themes.

I wasn’t sure I would like this. The student/teacher trope isn’t a huge favorite of mine but this was pretty good! Rebecca was so much more than I expected and surprised me a couple of times. The dynamic between her and the professor was intense, hot, and filled with some jaw dropping moments that had me blushing!

But that plot twist was probably my favorite out of the whole story. It crept up so silently and then all of a sudden….Bam! It caught me completely off guard.

I just love this series. There is something for everyone in these books. Now this story is a teacher x student relationship, it’s dark and spicy with all the intrigue I desire. Now you can think you know how the story goes but our writer Effie she can throw a twist into what you think might happen. Highly recommend this read and if you haven’t indulged this whole series is fire
