I particularly enjoyed this book because it is primarily adressed to people strugling with trauma and it is build like a workbook, with valuable psychoeducational content, as well as exercises and inspiring quotes. The language is accesible to people that don't have studies in mental health disciplines. I also believe it is a great resource for therapists to use it as support for the psychotherapy process.

Excellent self help resource. The ACT approach is revolutionary and practical. The authors are knowledgeable and compassionate; many interesting and helpful experiential exercises. I will be referring back to and practicing these exercises to increase psychological flexibility and connect with my values.
