Hikaru kelihatan kecil banget dihadapan Asou :") Imut banget... Mana waktu pas mau ke kuil, nyambut tahun baru, Asou sempet ngangkat Hikaru supaya keliatan dan ngga tenggelam sama kerumunan orang-orang... manis banget :>
Terus ya, Asou orangnya usil. Suka banget ngegodain Hikaru.
Cuma... jadi semakin penasaran. .-. Hhhhhhhhhh~ Ohya! Their first kiss... Awwwwwwww~ ♡♡♡
Even though volume one was not as good, this one picks up and has a more intense feel. The characters are better introduce and more secrets spice up the plot. The art is, as always, really good.
This is a lovely twisty, dramatic school shoujo love story -(very dorama like in its plot) by a mangaka that I've just realised I read quite a few scanlation's of. It's not smutty, really.
I've heard that Kiss/Hug - another series of hers - has been licensed in the west. That one is stronger, I thought, than this, so I'll be buying it.
This series is short at four volumes, but you can see that the mangaka is very skilled. ______________________________ I was just in the mood for a Mitsuki romance again and the reread really emphasized the deep connection between heroine and hero again - and while his background is more dramatic on the surface, she has lots of drama in her past as well AND there is more time spent on her relationships which I love. I also love, that - from what I have read of her series - there is never any question of the two people NOT loving each other. They may have misunderstandings and insecurity between themselves but NOT about potential other love interests (none of her series that I have read so far do). Here we have a brother with a sis-complex, but he actually had an understandable reason to develop it. Hikaru deals with it with a lot of patience, too ^^
Apart from the background story plot I do think that Shizuka is the one over-the-top character for the sake of complication. I guess they had to have one. Although Kiss & Hug and the other series I've read from her managed to do without an obvious antagonist character... I haven't read all her work yet, though.

The distance between Aso and Hikaru is lessening and they also . But Aso's sister-in-law is plotting to separate them. I have to say I didn't like her the first moment I saw her.
I still have to read the final volume of this one, I think, but to be honest, I'm not even sure. It's definitely not Kako Mitsuki's strongest work, but I like all of her stories enough to read them anyway. Arrgh. :'D
