Rivers wind through our communities of Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia separating the lands. But our passion for writing unites us. We are the KYOWA 180 chapter of Romance Writers of America. In this anthology we celebrate the river with our stories which are as fluid as the water running through these rivers. (Sadly, this title is no longer in print but you may view Nicole Pramik's contributed short story, "Firebrand," here as a free sample.)
Nicole Pramik is a speculative fiction writer whose works include The Cursebreaker of Equinox, a fantasy short story collection, and Kingdom of Ravens, a standalone YA fantasy novel. She holds an MA in English and was once an English and Humanities professor. She is a self-proclaimed nerdy bookworm who's always writing and enjoys listening to classical music and EDM while entertaining ideas for more stories and trying to teach herself Scandinavian languages for fun.
Quick correction: I'm not the sole author but was only a contributor. This is a collection of river-themed short stories penned by a writers' group I once belonged to long ago in a galaxy not far away. Overall, it's a nice, locally-published story collection; so if any of my of my former writer group buddies are watching, congrats! :)
