Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency that enables instant payments to anyone, anywhere in the world. Unlike traditional currencies like US Dollars or Euros, bitcoins are not physically minted or printed. It's a slim primer's primer, but surprisingly includes strong, well funded, opinion. Worth reading, as a decent prologue for the theme.
