Pepper Pace is the pen name used by the author. Born and raised in Cincinnati, she has always enjoyed creativity. At a very young age, Pepper had a gift for art and would spend most of her spare time drawing images that she later began adding stories behind. Soon writing became more important than the illustrations and though she still loved art, it took a back seat to her real love.
Pepper wrote her first novel when she was 12 years old and had written 2 more by the age of 18. Too shy to share her work with anyone, Pepper stock piled her many stories into notebooks until she came upon Literotica.com and was compelled to share her craft.
Pepper became instantly popular and won several awards each year in which she submitted a story to the site. After receiving popular feedback, she grew in confidence and created a popular blog entitled Writing Feedback where she encourages her readers to interact with her on topics concerning, music, writing, art and pop culture, and can be contacted at her blog: pepperpacefeedback.blogspot.com/
Pepper lives in Cincinnati where many of her characters also reside.
Let me start by giving Pepper Pace her flowers because this installment reminded me exactly why this series has me in a chokehold. By the time I finished Eden, three more books had already dropped — which tells you everything you need to know about how far from finished this soap opera is. And honestly, I’m thrilled, because this world is too rich and too intentional to ever feel dragged out.
And let me be very clear: this is a series that absolutely must be read in order. Nothing here stands alone — every emotional beat, every reveal, every breadcrumb is built on what came before. That’s part of what makes it so satisfying.
✨ What Made This Book Shine - Karma and her crew finally reaching Eden gives this book a sense of arrival — not an ending, but a major turning point. - The writing never feels like spaghetti thrown at the wall. Every thread sticks because every thread matters. - The character development stays witty, sharp, and deeply insightful. Even the side characters feel essential. - The graphics and illustrations? Stunning. I love when an author shows us how they envision their world, especially the Galatians. Seeing Karma depicted was such a treat — she looks a little different in my mind, but I adored the visual interpretation. - We get meaningful closure around the Exchange. The way each party will be represented going forward finally clicks into place. - New journeys begin. Characters who once felt peripheral suddenly step into the spotlight, and I’m excited to see where their arcs lead. - The ending is a “happy for now,” but the pull into the next book is immediate. Pepper Pace knows exactly how to keep you turning pages without cheap cliffhangers.
🌍 Why This Series Works This is a true soap opera in the best way — sprawling, emotional, dramatic, and addictive — but it never loses its structure or purpose. The intrigue is still there. The mystery is still there. The momentum is still there. And the worldbuilding continues to deepen with every book.
📚 Final Thoughts Eden is another beautifully crafted chapter in a series that refuses to let go of me. The illustrations are amazing, the storytelling is tight, and the pull to continue is strong. I’m already reaching for the next book because Pepper Pace clearly has more to say — and I’m ready for every twist she has planned.
I'm enjoying the creative writing that paints parallels of people problems with this creative world of aliens and humans. I read most of these "now books" when they were part of the kindle vella program. I was anxious when I could not keep reading due to the end of the program. Thank you, Ms. Pace, for converting the Exchange into books.
The story is multi-pov and switches scenes like a movie or TV show. Easy to get drawn in. The twists and turns had me going. There was at least one time the writing felt disconnected, but it made sense later in the story. Each book leaves you with a cliffy...at least that's the case so far. You must read these in order. Now, I'm waiting on the next one!!
I have read all the books that have been published so far in this serial And once the author explained the premis of the series which is more like a serial that must be read in order it all came together, didn't feel the cliffhanger vibe a much as I did in the 3rd book. As a reader it would not make sense to read the books out of order, there are side stories and many POV's, there are also multiple MMC as well as MFC, the order thar the books are written in makes for a good flow.
So far it's a well written story/serial and it's worth the read! Looking forward to the next book(s) in the serial 👍
I devoured this series. I have read all of Ms. Pace's books and have enjoyed each and every one. Her imagination in creating characters that jump off the page, is amazing. I absolutely love the Galation series and look forward to the continuation of these wonderful characters. Rafe, Karma and their family of friends drew me into the story from the very first paragraph. Again, kudos for an excellent series that is impossible to put down.
I actually loved this series. It was fantastic. I read each book and was happy with each. I have loved the books by Ms. Pace. She writes with passion, compassion and with imagery that puts you in the space. Her story was reflective and entertaining. She is an excellent author and I love her alien perspectives and the grace she puts on women of color allowing the reader to consider that women of color are emotive and vast in emotions when loved and treated as if they are loveable. Great work.
This is a great series. I read it on Kindle Vella and just could not get enough of it. Every character played an integral part in the book. The story is told from a variety of POVs, each unique and on their own journey, but it all blended together seamlessly. I can't wait for more to be released.
This story was simply Amaaaaaaazing. Each character was fascinating. The character development is extraordinary. I couldn't stop reading. I'm sad this is the last book for now at least.
I stumbled upon this series and was immediately swept away. It truly encompassed both an exhilarating alien adventure AND the experience of being seen as a minority. I'm excited to see this thru to the end! 10/10 RECOMMEND 🙂↕️👏🏾
I love this series and really wish I would’ve been able to catch it under Kindle Vella. But it’s all good. I get to devour it in chunks now so I am a happy camper.
