ぼくは青くて透明で

高校一年の夏、ぼくは彼に恋をした。

「ぼく」(羽田海)は、血の繋がらない継母の美佐子さんと二人暮らしをしている。
ぼくが高校一年の夏に、美佐子さんの仕事の都合で引っ越しをすることになった。前の町で美佐子さんが勤めていた印刷会社が倒産したのだ。
幼いころは父さんと母さんがいたけれど、ぼくが六歳のときに母さんは家を出ていき、その後美佐子さんと結婚した父さんもどこかに行ってしまった。
勉強も好きじゃないし、運動も得意じゃない。いつか美佐子さんとも離れなくちゃいけない。
そんなとき、「ぼく」は、転校先の高校で忍と出会った……。出会ってしまった。

Misumi Kubo is a Japanese writer. She has won the R-18 Literary Award, the Yamamoto Shūgorō Prize, and the Yamada Fūtarō Prize, and she has twice been nominated for the Naoki Prize. Her work was adapted into the 2012 film The Cowards Who Looked to the Sky.
