What I have come to love about asemic writing or visual poetry (whichever you may call it) is its ability to transfer ideas with only two individual imaginations--that of the author and that of the reader--without any constricting specifics, unless otherwise noted (but such is usually not the case). Upon reading "ghost word I," ideas of the realm of afterlife which none of us are supposed to witness until we have entered the dimension of death were communicated to me. This collection from Andrew Topel and David Baptiste-Chirot would certainly serve as a great introduction to the post-literate movement.
