Honestly, I didn't care much for this comic. It was extremely confusing as to what was happening. I also didn't see how the G.I Joe fit in with the Transformers. I gave this 2 stars because I liked the retro illustrations.
I don't get all the negative reviews behind this issue. I enjoyed it very much. Granted it's not loaded down with all the social commentaries other stories are. This issue was just plain fun to read. I loved the retro look and colors to each panel in the issue. This is the kind of comic, comics were when they were just fun to read.
Wonderful rollercoaster ride if nostalgia as snake eyes crosses paths with starscream.took me right back to 1985. Reminded me of Allan angels work on the critically acclaimed heroine .
A wonderful ride down memory lane as my favorite characters of the 1980s crossed paths in the vein of Allan angels heroine.
At times the story was a bit out there, but overall I think they did a great job. The artwork and design had a great 80s feel but it also revisited and reimagined many of the classic characters from the original comic (and we saw a few characters perish as well, which was an unexpected twist). Finished with a great cliffhanger as well.
I enjoyed this comic, it wasn't what I expected but I'm happy that I read it. It was a free comic from free comic book day that I'm glad I chose and picked up. It was more GI Joe orientated but what there was of the Transformers was awesome.
I give this comic a 5 star cuz like it had a really cool story line to it. Umm hard to read though, cuz of the prints but I'd recommend it to every g.i. Joe fans and transformer fans. Thank you.
This was fun to read. The artwork was ok but the full page battles remind me of when I was a kid and I’d fill a whole page with a huge war that had dozens of individual battles. There were Easter eggs sprinkled throughout for longtime fans which made it fun. Should be an enjoyable collection
I had a blast reading this. I did want more interaction between the Joes and the Transformers but I imagine that is coming in later issues. The story and action were fun and the introduction of each G.I.Joe character brought back some memories from my childhood :)
