Rate this book
Hamilla Austen has one ensuring the children in her care are loved and protected after losing their parents. So, when the children’s designated guardian turns out to be Caleb Thornton—a cocky, carefree cowboy with a reputation for living life on the edge—Hamilla is more than reluctant to hand them over. Determined to secure their future, she devises an outrageous plan that just might work.

Caleb Thornton never expected his inheritance to come in the form of rambunctious twin siblings—or their fiercely protective and stunningly beautiful nanny. A longtime bachelor with no interest in settling down, Caleb is confident he’s not cut out for fatherhood. But when Hamilla proposes an unconventional solution—a marriage of convenience to keep the family together—he reluctantly agrees, on one no one can find out. Especially not his friends, or he’ll lose a bet he’s sworn to win.

As Caleb and Hamilla navigate their unconventional arrangement, sparks fly, and unexpected emotions surface. Can Caleb protect his bachelor reputation, or will he find himself falling for the family he never knew he needed?

I enjoyed the book! Caleb went to the train station to pick up his inheritance but it was not what he expected - he inherited his cousin’s twins! Hamilla was the children’s nanny. She did not feel comfortable leaving the children but she could not travel with him without ruining her reputation so they married in name only. There was drama and unexpected happenings in the book. I recommend reading this book!
