Autumn is the sister of the infamous Porters. This fast pace book picks up where the last begin, highlighting the young lady, Autumn as she tries to get to the border and escape the feds. Keisha Ervin delivers a sure fire classic.
Hailing from St. Louis, Missouri, Keisha Ervin is a prolific writer and devoted mother. Her success has drawn much deserved attention to herself and her hometown. She is the author of the National Best-Sellers Chyna Black, Me & My Boyfriend, Mina's Joint and Hold U Down, as well as the novel Torn and the short story After the Storm, featured in the Street Love anthology.
I read this book in 2 hours I couldn't put it down!! I can't get enough of the Porter family & their crazy twists of fate during an all out manhunt. I'm ready to see what happens next!!
The problem with series that are written by multiple authors is, not all of the books are going to be as good as the previous one. The intro written by Ashley & JaQuavis was actually good but, I was not a fan of Autumn's story. And, that's surprising because, the handful of books I have by Keisha Ervin, I actually like. My issue is, I no longer have a taste for the hood/drug theme novels. I stopped reading these books in my early 30's. The storyline is pretty much the same regardless of who the author is and I'm just over it. This book was just corny and not very well written. I'm surprised I was able to finish it. I won't even waste my time with the rest of the books in this series.
Baby, Autumn was out here fighting for her life! Like lawd… that girl may have had it the worst! Them Porters were smart though, and she knew if nothing else she had to get to Mexico or die trying.
Her and Q made me smile. Sometimes you have to call in a favor, and it’s a good thing she knew how to treat people. You never know when you’ll need their help.
This was a fast paced read that had me cheering Autumn on the entire time. I absolutely loved this read, and I’m diving into that next book asap!
Title: The Circle | Autumn’s Story Author: Keisha Ervin Genre: Urban Lit Audiobook: 4 hrs 59min Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I would like to know how this Family got introduced to the lives they lead. I love that different Authors are jumping in..but still what's the origins??
This story was different from anything I've ever read by Keisha Ervin and as an avid reader of her work, I've read all of her books to date.
It's exceptional the way each of the authors that have contributed to this series have their own writing styles yet deliver consistency within the series as if it came from one alone.
In Autumns story we get to see the events through her eyes. This particular story is very interesting as this character appears to be a mixture of her siblings.
I was very pleased with this book and if you enjoyed the stories preceding this one, you will be too.
This was read in 1day. This series is so damn good you will be unable to put it down. It's captivating, face paced, and well written. If you don't know the Porter's yet you still have time to catch up. Autumn gave me so much life OMG it is unreal. The story unfolds at your fingertips there is no guessing and Fully action Packed!!! Keisha did a very good job on the development of Autumn and spoiler I hope she is pregnant!!!! The Circle Go right ahead and unfold the next installment this is an awesome read hurry up and one-click #TeamOwl #Autumn'sStory
I enjoyed reading the Circle: Autumn's Story. The Circle: Autumn's Story by Keisha Ervin is a good read. Keisha Ervin is a good writer. She did a good job. I like the concept and vibe in this book.
I enjoyed reading about Autumn's Story. I'm not going to say too much about this book because I don't want to spoiled to other readers. I give this book and author five stars.
Because Autumn was the youngest, at first I thought she would be the weakest link. Once I read this story, my opinion of her definitely changed! She turned out to be just as dangerous & cold-hearted! I liked the way this series is shaping up, giving such a vivid picture, I feel as if I am on the run also! Book 2 has wrapped up another fabulous read of the Circle series & I am so looking forward to reading the next book!
This was not my favorite book in the series. Towards the end I found myself skipping thru some parts because it began to drag. I had a hard time continuing to be interested in the story. I will say though, that the I enjoyed the end and would like to see what the next Porter is up to. 3.5
Liked this one a lot, better than the first and I feel like I really got to know the characters and especially Autumn more in this! Excited for the rest of these!
The Circle series may be received better if it is read in order.
Autumn is the baby of the Porter clan. Keisha Ervin did a great job showing the conflict inside of Autumn as she clung to her family while desiring a life outside of the heists and other criminal activity.
Listening to/reading Autumn’s story was just as suspenseful as Fallon’s story, if not more. Autumn had the feds and a drug cartel after her, but she made it to Mexico only to almost get killed until Q, the man who loved her, and Fallon, Autumn’s sister saved her.
The ending was quick but somewhat tear jerking. Fallon showed up for Autumn just when she need her. However, Fallon’s lack of communication regarding Rain and Dayvid is ominous.
In my opinion, The Circle: Autumn’s Story, is the best of the Porter siblings. I didn’t realize I read Rain’s story awhile back, but I may revisit it as I can’t remember what happened, and I didn’t like it the first time around. I haven’t read Dayvid’s story and I’m not sure if I’m going to.

Keisha Ervin takes us on the ride of the youngest Porter sister, Autumn. This was such a great that I realized that I read this book twice and it was equally exceptional! A picture is painted of Autumn through the years recounting their many heists and her love interest Que. The swiftness of Autumn had me chucking at times and thinking in my head "you better not do it" to the ones that she was up against at the moment. This was a easy read and equally adventurous flowing directly from second book, The Circle: Fallon's Story. The twist at the end will leave your mouth open and maybe you will drop a slight tear.
This shit was so good. Full of fucking tension. I'm glad Quentin got to her and that I was wrong about her going out like Cleo. But Quentin somehow made it to Mexico with the DEA on his ass, so clearly we still have a problem there.
The next book is Fallon's story and it's by a different author. I wonder how they did this. I'm guessing since each book is about a different sibling, each author was able to develop a different character, so the voices don't sound different. The narrator is the same for all (at least I hope...I like Nicole Small), so that helps.
Either way, I hope the rest are as good. This is bout to make me go back to the early 2G's and read Keisha Ervin again.

How in the hell can anyone enjoy this series? These have got to be fluffed reviews. Have to be! Do the authors research anything? Are they even aware that the hunt doesn’t stop just because you cross the border? And the sexy factor…am I to believe that every single man is just so sex driven and this girl is just oh so sexy that they just get everything they want from every man? And why the hell is cheating and unprotected sex and generally being absolute garbage of a human being highlighted. So far NONE of these characters have any redeeming qualities. If the last book doesn’t just kill them all off I’ll be disappointed.
Wow, determination is exhibited throughout this book, which is based on love of family. Autumn is the epitome of a woman who struggled thru so many obstacles, but made it through due to her perseverance and her strength, regardless of being a woman alone. This book was filled with a lot of killing, but there were justifiable reasons for it and I liked it! A great book to read, very entertaining! Next!
This Story of Autumn Porter was interesting but wasn't my favorite of the series though. I'll have to agree with another reviewer who said that the series was kind of problematic due to having several authors-& I might add: many of them new to the scene- telling the stories of the characters introduced in the Beginning. I listened to this via audiobook & found myself wishing that Autumn could get to where her siblings planned to meet in time.
Great page turner! I believe Autumn proved herself to be a Porter with each obstacle she made it through. She said, she was going to see her siblings by any means necessary and that's what she meant. I loved how the action unfolded and grabbed my attention. I could not sleep because I had to find out what was going to happen next. A must read!!!
I really enjoyed this book! I didn't know it was part of a series. I will go back and read each one as well as follow each author. I wish she had more book on Kindle for free. I love reading Keisha E novels! I support my local STL authors.
I liked his story much better than the last story.. this story sound more believable and i actually liked autumn.. she held her own and i actually wanted to finished the story
I just knew it wouldn't end well for her. She went through so much to get there. Autumn just kept fu[king up. But that damn Lo wasn't even the MAN. And his jealous ass sister was for the birds anyway.
