When Demi finds her controlling boyfriend has followed her to Las Vegas, she not only leaves him, but leaves the city as well—deciding to make the two-thousand-mile journey back to Toronto rather than risk running into him again.
New friends Chrissa and Tad are quick to join her; Chrissa wants Demi to have fun and start living her best life again. Tad just wants Demi.
But loving the wrong guy for years really messes you up. Is the road trip long enough for Demi to sort out her life—and the new feelings she has for Tad?
Loving the Wrong Guy is the fifth book in the Suitor Science Series, a charmingly sweet, laugh-out-loud road trip romantic comedy where loving Mr. Wrong might pave the way for Mr. Right.

A quick, delightful love triangle that you should read!
I was lucky enough to get an advance copy of this book.
The premise is simple but well-done. Girl is with long-term partner and girl meets a potential guy that she could fall for. However, the pacing is good and her arc and understanding her own needs and wants is good. She grows over time and realizes that what she suspected was true love maybe wasn't and that what she thought she wanted, she maybe didn't.
Demi and Tad are likable characters and you are trying to root for them to make it out together by the end. I won't spoil it but you will spend the entire book on the edge of your seat on that one. There is a twist at the end. It's great. I didn't really expect it.
The supporting characters are a lot of fun. I sort of want to be Lyra. The reality show sort of on the edge of this all is a great addition that makes the whole thing a bit snappier. I love the dialogue, the relationships between the female characters, and the pacing. A fun read!
Fun! I really enjoy the stories about this group of friends, and it was great to get to know Demi better. To be honest, I've been rooting for her to get rid of Justin for the past couple of books, so I was more than happy to see her finally stand up for herself and find out what *she* really wants out of life.
This is book five in the Suitor Science Series. This story is an friends to lovers love triangle romantic comedy sweet Romance . This book is funny and sweet and a lot more.

Demi went to Las Vegas to have a little fun celebrating Bexley and Grayson. Her controlling boyfriend Justin refused to accompany her. All she can think about is “Justin doesn’t like this or that, and would not want her to enjoy this either.” His idea of a good time would be to stick her at a booth and make her stay there while others had fun. She actually feels shame when she briefly thinks she might have a better time without him here. But as she is with her new friends, Tad and Chrissa, she spots Justin gambling and with women hanging all over him! Angry at his sneaky actions in following her, she finally realizes this was not real love. (Whew, about time!)
Demi, Tad, and Chrissa decide to make a lengthy road trip drive to Toronto rather than fly home. It was a wonderful way to get to know each other better, especially when she can see how different Tad is compared to her ex. Will Demi start to learn how to live her own life without Justin’s unrelenting control? Will Demi and Tad find a happy ending for themselves? Or will she need some time to realize that he truly is the right guy for her?
I'm really torn between 2 and 3 stars. I'd give it a 2, just because the tropes and everything aren't my thing.
I've seen other reviews commenting how this is a "love triangle" and it's not. It isn't. There's no way for it to be a love triangle because that would involve more than one character liking one of the leads at a time, and there isn't. Just because there's a third on their little road trip doesn't mean everything is romantic between everyone.
This trope or whatever, when Demi is breaking up with her boyfriend throughout the story, shouldn't be accompanied by a guy who likes her the whole time. She has spent four years catering to this guy and brushing off every red flag with a laugh, and now she needs to find herself. Figure out who she is without someone over her shoulder watching where she is on SnapMap. To me, adding another guy in a romantic sense doesn't fit. Even though Justin is a class-A jerk she was - or fancied herself - in love with him. That takes time.
And, once again, it's another insta-love situation. I think Kerr peaked with David and Biba's story.
This story is quite the road trip! Another book in the series that I have really enjoyed. As with all the other books, I really think the best reader experience will come from reading the whole series in order. The stories build so much on each other and the characters are all such significant parts of each other’s stories. This story picks up during the events of the previous book, in Las Vegas during Grayson & Bexley’s engagement party weekend. Poor Demi had an unfortunate relationship throughout the other books, and is finally forced to confront how unhealthy it is, and who she is outside of it. Tad is such a great guy and a great addition to the group, but he is also trying to figure out who he wants to be. It was great watching their attraction and affection grow over a short period of close proximity. They had some interesting adventures on the road trip. I felt that the ending respected how much the characters still needed to figure out about themselves and what they each wanted and how short their time together had been, but still giving the reader a HEA.
This was the first book I read by Holly Kerr but it certainly won't be my last!
Loving the Wrong Guy starts with what is supposed to be a fun weekend in Vegas to celebrate the upcoming nuptials of new friends. Demi flew out to attend the bash without her long time boyfriend... or so she thought. When Justin shows up unexpectedly, Demi starts to question so many things. Needing to promptly get away and clear her head, she ends up on a road trip back home to Toronto accompanied by two new friends - Chrissa and Tad.
I thoroughly loved this book. While I was captivated from the very beginning, the trio's adventures on their ride home kept this book lighthearted, entertaining, and fun. I laughed out loud repeatedly. I quickly need to find the previous 4 books in the Suitor Science series as I hear more stories are in the works.
I highly recommend Loving the Wrong Guy.

I loved this story! Demi is on a weekend getaway to Las Vegas with friend. She thinks she is secure in her relationship with her boyfriend, but things go horribly wrong when she sees him gambling with other women and he never told her he was there. She starts to realize just how controlling he really was in her life. To get away she and her new friends Chrissa and Tad start a road trip to get back home.
Along the way they have adventures and get to know each other better.
Of course you know that she and Tad are going to be attracted to each other, but this was tastefully done. To go from one relationship to another quickly wouldn't have been believable, but this was handled well and left me satisfied with the story!.

Oh my gosh. This story was sweet and adorable and angsty and dramatic. It was everything I’ve come to expect from this series and so much more. I have wanted to see Demi find her Happily Ever After with someone, anyone, better than the boyfriend that’s been dragging her down since we met her. Tad is perfect. He’s brilliant, socially awkward, and has the heart of a lion. He will do anything if it will make Demi’s life better or easier. My heart ached to watch these two fumble to find their way. And when it looked like that way might be separately, I was ready to cry. I adored the ending to this book so much and I can’t wait to get my hands on whatever the author has in store for us next. Part of the Suitor Science series, this book is best enjoyed if the previous books are read. The characters from this story have appearances in them.
After a trip to Vegas for an engagement party leaves Demi with new friends (Chrissa and Tad) and without a boyfriend (no big loss), Demi wants to return home to Toronto, but doesn't want to wait for her next day flight. Tad suggests a road trip and the three of them set off. The trip is a series of adventures including delivering a baby and a reunion with Tad's teenage crush. Tad is more interested in Demi though and hopes that she reciprocates the feelings. But with her in Canada and him in the states, will they be able to stay close?.

This is book five in the Suitor Science Series and can be read as a standalone - this is the first in the series I've read and while I loved it, I do think I would have loved it all the more if I had read the previous books first and I am definitely going to try to go back and read them! A wonderfully humors and tangled triangle is weaved. Lighthearted and fun - this book delivers with laugh out loud moments and a well written, smooth flowing storyline and amazing characters. I highly recommend and can't wait for more!

Demi and Tad meet in Las Vegas where a bunch of friends are celebrating the upcoming marriage of Mase and Fiona. Along with Chrissa, they end up on a crazy road trip across the U.S. to Chicago. From getting quickly away from her ex, to delivering a baby, to a wild day going around Chicago with a new friend, dares and a close relationship comes through. Loved all the characters, entertaining situations, snuggling, skinny dipping, and daring games. The ending was the best yet. Thanks for sharing your imagination with us.

Demi has been with Justin for along time and so she does what he asks because he shames her into doing them but not this time she decides that she is going to go to Vegas to celebrate with her friends, but she does has doubts for a moment but then she realizes that she wants to do this and she will. While in Vegas with her new friends she sees Justin gambling with women hanging all over him, so she leaves with Tad and Chrissa and they drive home and after spending days on the road she is seeing things in a new light will she go back to Justin or give her and Tad a chance at love.

Good book. It was fun watching Demi discover herself after her current controlling boyfriend goes a step (or two) too far, and she escapes by taking off on a cross-country ride with new friends Chrissa and Tad. Escapades ensue, emotions get involved, and hearts may be in danger of being broken before the trip of all trips concludes. But is that the end of the story? You'll just have to read it to find out, and be sure to have a tissue or three on hand.

I really enjoyed Demi story because let’s be honest.. I been waiting for her and Justin to break up since book one page 2 lol. She’s also the only one whose story really didn’t involve the main group, she had her own little click. Before I get into her and Tad, let me just say this book made me love Carissa, and I can’t wait to read her story. But back to Tad, I’m glad him and Demi found each other, but I’m really glad they gave each room to grow and become who they needed to become , I was nervous there for a little bit but whew it all came together .
Some call it fate, others call it destiny, sometimes its just the situation you are put in. Think road trip with strangers you've known less than a day, meeting more strangers along the way. Trying new things and crossing off others on your bucket list. Lots of laughter along with some tears, but you won't want to put it down.

I knew from the first chapter that Demi needed to dump her controlling selfish boyfriend Justin, but that was further confirmed when he followed her and was physical. Tad and Chrissa were a little wild with their antics and the spontaneous road trip with plenty of crazy adventures along the way. Demi and Tad start to develop feelings for each other but she needs to recover from her ex and put herself first. I wasn’t sure if Demi would stand strong against Jerkin’s manipulations.
I loved to read more of Demi but her boyfriend of 4 years appearing in Vegas out of the blue wasn't a cool thing to do. Jerkin fits so good to this guy and Tad is such a good guy that he drives Demi and Chrissy home to Canada. Be prepared for a few very interesting surprises along the way and I'm looking forward to reading more from them.

I've read several books written by Holly Kerr; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books.
This is part of the Suitor Science Series; it is a stand-alone book. The story is about Demi, Chrissa & Tad; they are new friends and when she decides to leave Vegas after her boyfriend followed her there they leave with her and head back to Toronto.

These three were great. The story picked up right where the last book ended but you really didn't need to have the previous book's story to get into this. I loved the adventure. I loved the characters finding their place. Since Chrissa has been a pivot in a few books now, I am really looking forward to hearing her story.

What started as a fun Las Vegas trip turned into an entertaining romantic comedy. Demi and Tad are believable characters and I was cheering her on to get her happily ever after. The writing is well done, the characters are fun, and I loved the friendship and crazy fun dialogue. Loving the Wrong Guy is a great addition to the Suitor Science series and I can't wait to read the next book. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
Demi decides to leave Las Vegas for Canada and a very controlling boyfriend who seems to follow her where ever she goes. Is she making the right decision to leave? Will the two thousand miles it will take her help her figure things out? Will she be able to open her mind and heart to the right guy, or will he slip away from her?.

Loving the Wrong Guy is a fun and funny, clean, romantic comedy with a road trip! I thoroughly enjoyed this crazy road trip with Tad, Demi and Chrissa. I would love to tour Chicago with Lyra! I love that Demi figured out that Justin was wrong for her and that she wanted time to find what makes her happy before she found another boyfriend. This is a great series of books.
The fifth book in the Suitor Science series. Demi takes a road trip with Tad and Chrissa, she will find so much more. I enjoyed seeing this story get a happy ending with all the ups and downs Demi and Tad went through. I received a copy of this book via Hidden Gems and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This rom com was warm, witty and wonderful! So well written with such fun dialogue that moves the story along. The storyline was interesting and had a great mix of characters. I would definitely recommend this book and the whole series.

First, I think we can all collectively agree that the nickname, Jerkin, fits.
Kind of unlikely that they would happen to meet the person Tad mentioned during the trip. But, otherwise, it was a really good read! I enjoyed reading about their wacky adventures!
And, interesting insight into how people can be so blind to situations as well.
Right Place – Wrong Time? This book is the fifth of a series and shares characters with other series' that the author has written. It is a romantic comedy without any of the dumb, cringe-worthy moments. This is a sweet and clean story that has the reader rooting for everyone, almost. I enjoy this author's work so much! Her stories always leave a smile on my face and joy in my heart.
The complexities of Love make for very entertaining rating. When you love the wrong person and the right person is there but you don't realize it. The road trip is a wonderful way for people to interact and connect. It's fun to watch the personalities of the characters develop and come through. Good read.

I really liked the storyline. It was entertaining, with just enough laughs and angst to make it an enjoyable read. About halfway through the story, there's a sense of hope that Demi will finally rid herself of the controlling boyfriend. And in some way, Tad will triumph in getting the girl. An enjoyable read.
This book is a quick read and I loved it. She went on a weekend getaway to Las Vegas and finds out her boyfriend is there which he never told her was going to Las Vegas so to go back home they decide to take a road trip back home and, on the way, back the adventures and get to know her new friends.
