Wow. I love these characters, but they are a lot to take, all together, all at once; where all the crazy is hanging out at the same time. But, you know, I think that’s one of the biggest reasons I love this group. They wear their dysfunctions like badges of honor, and show us in great detail how they developed them and how they’re overcoming them. (Or, at least, how they’re trying to.) And this duel of the Christmas weddings is no exception. The very final result was nothing I saw coming, but it was exactly the ending this story needed. In the meantime, I had so much fun catching up with our Suitor Science heroes and heroines and discovering all the new craziness that’s going on in their lives. I hate to think that this is the end of the series, but my fingers are still crossed for future cameo appearances and short stories. Because, this quirky group of characters is just too much fun for me to be willing to let go of them entirely.

I’m sad that this booked marked the end of the suitor series!

Imagine being excited you’re getting married and it’s going to be a Christmas wedding.. just to find out one of your best friends getting married on the same day… what could possibly go wrong?

This was a cute story, and of course I’m already obsessed with them all! I love this the author touch on all the emotions that both Rachel and Fiona had.. even the bad and selfish ones.

Let’s just say things got interesting really, there was a plot twist I really didn’t expect!!

I loved meeting carter and I would love to get to know Riese more too(maybe in another series ** crosses fingers**)

So while I wait till Hollys new series coming in Feb 2024… I’ll be starting the Sisters in a small town series so I’ll be caught up from Carissa story.

What a plot! Fiona and Rachel are accidentally picking the same date for their weddings and you won't believe the drama this causes. Both are frustrated that they can't have all their friends at the wedding and neither is able or willing to change the date.

I have read all the books in this series, yet I'm surprised at the new sides I saw in Fee and Rachel in this story. Awesome!

But I've never seen coming what happened in the end! WOW! What a brilliant story Holly, I love it and due to the small hint on the last page 😉 I sure hope we'll get another book next year.

Most surprising ARC, so happy that I'm able to share my honest review. Five stars because there is nothing to complain.

What do you get when Holly Kerr "puts the band back together" (the Suitor Science gang, that is...)? A whole lot of fun with a lot of pre-wedding shenanigans! :)

Excellent read. Another great addition to this series. Holly Kerr is a master at Rom-Coms. I wish this wasn't the end of the series- please write more :-) Loved the characters

While I read a few of the other books in the Suitor Science series and knew all characters by name, this book is definitely not a standalone. You really need to have read all the books, preferably one after the other to be able to keep track of all the characters and storylines.

While it was fun to see everyone again, I was a bit overwhelmed with this book. Everyone was there, with multiple POVs to keep track of, backstories to remember… and then you get the whole drama of two weddings on the same day.
I did not enjoy Rachel and unfortunately that influenced my enjoyment of the whole book.

Would recommend if you loved every book in this series, as part of it felt like a warm hug and the perfect ending of the series.
For me it was just a bit too chaotic and too far removed from the The Bachelor television series premise.

I received an ARC of this book (thanks!) and these are my own opinions.

Finding The One is the last book in Kerr's Suitor Science series. They are all sweet, contemporary romance books featuring couples that have connected through a Canadian version of The Bachelor/Bacherlorette.

Hating The Chemistry Teacher - Rachel & Boen
Falling For The Suitor - Bexley & Grayson
Fraternizing With The Ex - Biba & David
Marrying The Billionaire - Fiona & Mase
Loving The Wrong Guy - Demi & Tad

This book is not a standalone. It revisits the cast of characters as Boen finally pops the question and the Sterling family's matriarch insists on Mase and Fiona having a real wedding that she can attend. Unfortunately the two couples have picked the very same wedding date, and neither can change. This leads to a lot of tension and unease that impacts this circle of friends.

While it was fun to meet up again with these old friends, the story left me feeling uncomfortable with the excess drama and discontent. The story felt somewhat forced and overly chaotic. I did appreciate the new couple in this book and wish that storyline had been further developed. I will note that I loved the vows prepared by each of the couples. They shared some heartwarming words that reminded us how perfectly matched these unlikely pairs are, and we can trust that they will all enjoy their HEAs.

This was a bittersweet way to bid adieu to the motley crew. I am looking forward to Kerr's forthcoming series, Love In Laandia which is expected in February 2024.

Finding the One is a short holiday novella packed with drama in which two friends happen to schedule their weddings on the same day - and neither are budging to find a compromise. With a vast friend group entangled in both couples relationships, friends (and family) are forced to pick sides on which event to attend, and fights continue to escalate from there.

Between my own wedding last month and my excitement for this holiday season, this read seemed like it would be right up my alley. This was my first Holly Kerr book, and I flew through it.

While I enjoyed the glimpses and clear chemistry in Mase & Fiona's relationship, Rachel was extremely off-putting to me. I didn't understand most of her conflicts and anger, and she seemed extremely detached from her hubby-to-be Boen. Her character may be more fleshed out in her own book, but I don't really have a desire to read it to understand. I also thought the resolution was fairly easy to guess. Usually these tropes are my bread and butter but this one fell a little flat for me.

I did feel a little lost in the beginning with so many names tossed around, but quickly got everyone straightened out. While this is the 6th book in the Suitor Science series and can be read as a standalone, I agree with Holly in saying it's probably better enjoyed after reading the other books.

To start...

Characters can make and break a book. At least for me. And I truly did not like Rachel. Her character was just ugly in my opinion. She acted spoiled and if things didn't go her way or someone disagreed with her, she hated them right off the bat. Even if someone were her friend. She even went as far as to hate her future husband because he stood up to her.

In the end when the combined weddings then Rachel ditches it after throwing temper tantrums, was horrible and self centered of her. Especially, when she and her fiance just up and disappeared. Not even bothering to let anyone know.

I struggled to read this book. Because of Rachel's character. Fiona is a people pleaser. Except when it comes to changing her wedding date.

Definitely gives off bride war vibes. Wasn't much of a Rom-Com to me. I didn't laugh or really crack a smile.

This book is the ending to a series. Not sure if I want to read the series based on this book.

It was so fun to get to see all the Suitor Sciences couples again and watch their lives and romances progressing. There are some lovely, sweet glimpses into the relationships. I really enjoyed this series wrap-up. There are some cute and funny moments and I was already very engaged with the characters from the previous books. There is also a cute new romance with some secondary characters that is a background story behind the main drama of the competing weddings of Rachel and Boen, and Fiona and Mase (a second ceremony as they married in Las Vergas). Both weddings planned for the same day puts tremendous pressure on the friend group. Definitely a recipe for some drama. I loved how it all resolved. Since this is a story that is so tied into the other books in the series, I would recommend reading the series in order first, but it’s still a fun story on its own. This is fade-to-black book with moderate innuendo and discussion, as well as infrequent moderate harsh language.

The book should be called Weddings R Us. When siblings start to get engaged or eloped, Carter steps in to manage the wedding(s). In the mean time, Rachel and Boen get ready for their first but take a diversion. Fiona and Mase had eloped but grandma wants to see it and participate so they have another wedding. Carter and Rachel's brother Ryan are now together and he has a surprise for her. Both couples later have a surprise for another couple. So many twists and a mix of good friends not sure of where to go or who to root for, as two weddings are on the same day, until an amazing idea comes out. The ending will blow your mind as everything comes together. This story will be in your thoughts for the next few weeks. Well done!.

This book was a major disappointment. The characters from the previous books are all present, with Rachel/Boen, and Fiona/Mase front and center in a true bridal war. I loved reconnecting with these characters, but Rachel was nothing more than a spoiled brat, right down to throwing temper tantrums and "hating" whoever denied her what she wanted at that point in time. A true bridezilla times 10! If I had not been committed to doing a review for this book, I would have stopped reading and simply deleted it from my Kindle. Go ahead and read all the other books in this series, because they are truly delightful, but avoid this one like the plague.

- Multiple POV
- Stubborn brides
- Large friend group

In the conclusion of the Suitor Science series, the story begins at Bexley and Grayson's wedding. Fiona is still very much in the honeymoon phase of her marriage to Mase and Rachel and Boen are in a very serious relationship.

When Mase's grandmother insists on a formal wedding (Fiona and Mase were married in Vegas), Fiona agrees to keep peace.

Meanwhile, Boen proposes to Rachel and they agree to a short engagement. However, both women choose the same date for their weddings. Things become tense when neither will budge on the dates... Will their friendships survive?

Oh, and what about that little twist at the end?.

Bride Wars or fighting for love in all forms

Finding the One is the sixth book in the A Suitor Science series. You should read both Hating the Chemistry Teacher (Rachel and Boen) and Marrying the Billionaire Best Friend (Fiona and Mase) books before picking up this book, as it the continuations in their stories. Actually the characters and some family from all the books in the series pop up in this book. Both Rachel and Fiona have a little problem, they both have plans to get married on the same day. Their family and friends are torn between the two. Will they have a "Bride War" or will they find a way to fight together for an outcome that all will enjoy, filled with friends, family, love and romance......and of course more than a little laughter along the way.

What happens when two weddings of good friends end up on the same day. After Rachel couldn’t stand Boen, she then fell madly in love with him and about to announce their wedding date. Fiona and Mase ran off the Las Vegas and eloped and now grandma isn’t a happy camper and demands they have a formal wedding. Surprise to say it ends up the same day as Rachel and Boen planned as their day. As friends of both couples must choose which wedding to go to and hard feelings are tearing friendships apart. Can there be a plan to make it special for those involved.

Fiona and Mase are getting married again and Rachel and Boen are getting married for the first time. The problem is they picked the same day and neither wants to switch. Rachel acted like a spoiled brat throwing a tantrum. She didn't have anything planned, just didn't want to disappoint her mother. While Mase's family had so many plans already in motion for their second wedding. Their friends and relatives get caught in the middle as they battle and it adds to the drama in the book. It would be nice to have a short story or epilogue follow up on all the couples a few years later.

This is the last in Kerr's Suitor Science series and can be read as a standalone but really is so good when read as a series although as a disclaimer, I have not read all of this series...that said this band of quirky characters in this book are absolutely wonderful. A sweet, opposites attract romantic comedy with a captivating storyline that is smooth flowing and well written. While this is the last of this series, I'm excited to see what Kerr will be writing next!

Fiona and Mase are getting married again but there's one problem, it's the same day as Rachel and Boen, and the wedding war begins. This is the final book in the Suitor Science series and although it can be read as a standalone I recommend you start this series from book one otherwise you will be missing out on how all these characters met. This is a fun, sweet, opposites attract rom-com with a great storyline, believable characters, and a happily ever after. The ending was the cherry on top. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

This is the final book in the Suitor Science series and though it can be read as a standalone, I recommend reading the previous books in the series so you have the background of the story and characters.

This rom-com will entertain you and give you times where you can't help but laugh out loud and will definitely keep a smile on your face. A perfect read for when you need an escape from your everyday life.

Finding the One is a sweet, holiday, opposites attract, romantic comedy. While it can be read as a stand alone, it is much better when you already know most of the characters from the previous books in the series. There is a huge amount of drama over Rachel’s behavior when she finds out that her wedding is on the same day as Fiona’s. This causes their friends to have to pick sides over which wedding to attend until a better solution is found. It was fun to catch up with all the couples from the series in this well written book about friendship, family and more!

Well you can imagine the chaos this ensues….Fiona and Rachel are adamant they’re having their Christmas wedding. Reading this awesome book, I wish I’d read the previous not it’s at its end . Relatable friends together story with a twist . Good writing , highly entertaining.

Fiona and Rachel accidently picked the same date for their weddings. I love when the whole gang gets together it is like being with family because everyone's dysfunction comes out and its hilarious and especially when they say their trying to work on them or not work on them that makes it like family because we all fight but we still love each other.

The book though well written became a heavy read because of the sheer number of characters in the book.

It is not a standalone as the characters are from the previous books, and the multiple POVs made it difficult to enjoy the book to the extent I thought I would.

If you have read all the books in the series, you should give this a try.

Loved it!

Carter gets the real surprise. All the characters we love from the previous books are back again. There’s even a petty spat, but thank goodness the friends overcome their anger and find a solution that puts something else fantastic in motion. This is a quick and fun read!

Loved This Last Book

I loved all the books, all the characters, all the romance, and all the endings! This one had so many surprises in the end, and they were all good. I didn't see a single one of them coming. Rachel and Fiona's initial hard feelings were hard to watch, but everything worked out for everyone. Great series!
