RHINO RAMPAGE! What amped Rhino up from criminal super-bruiser to rampaging disaster machine? We aren't spilling, but it just amped up Spider-Man! That's right, Spider-Man is going in and out of control of his senses trying to figure out how to get full control of his body. And the only people who can help are Norman Osborn and…Peter's long-lost childhood best friend?!
art is obviously great. I really like the colours of the real world, the hallucinations in red were effective.
I dont like Peter saying to Norman 'you're the best' yuck. he killed Gwen. I need to resd the wells run and find out how Peter is so cool with Norman. I understand Sins were taken away in Spencer's run but he still did those acts.
hobgoblin has hired itsy bitsy to kill spider-man.
I was thinking it was a pretty great start to the new run, up until the Itsy-Bitsy reveal on the last page… I hated that Spider-Man/Deadpool run, I completely forgot it was Joe Kelly who wrote it. I haven’t read it since it came out though, and I never finished it, so maybe if this arc stays good I’ll go back and give it another try. So far it’s phenomenal, Pepe Larraz’s art is exactly what the series needed to shake things up, and Kelly is helping with his very different creative voice after the last couple of years of Zeb Wells. I love Zeb Wells but it was time for a change and I’m happy with the new Spidey so far. I hope it holds

Hmmmmm. I liked parts of this. I didn’t like other parts. The hallucinations were really cool visually. Pete’s bad kid arc with this Brian guy is a fine addition. It’s not doing a lot for me, but I feel like it’s leading up to something and I’m interested to see if it sticks the landing it’s gearing up for. Spidey’s trip to Ravencroft was a cool scene. I don’t know anything about this Itsy Bitsy who has shown up, but they definitely look scary!
The mystery goes deeper into the rabbit-hole. This series is heating up. Its a really good series with lots of mystery and intriguing plot lines. The art is beautiful as well.
4.25 Another good issue. The art is great. Peter feels like a real person again. Interesting new cast with interesting dynamics. Trouble balancing it all in a way that is Peter and makes sense but doesn't make him seem like a total loser.
Of course I love this title but I felt like I was reading a Dr. Strange story and not Spiderman and didn't we just do that for like a dozen issues in the 8-deaths of Spiderman??
I really don't know what to think about this volume. I loooooove the art style, but the story is kind of boring idk - maybe it's just me, but I'm not really hooked.
I'm still not 100% sure what is going on in this one but the intrigue of the mystery has me wanting to keep reading. The art is really good, especially the action shots.
