At times brilliant, others extremely annoying. shows some of the best of what FF can very but so over the top and preachy and much too chatty at other times if just isn't readable.
Art work is mostly outstanding g and nearly got this 4 stars, but mostly forgettable sections drag it down. Not really sure why this is so acclaimed .
spoiler ,While HT sacrifice while commendable lacks meaning as we all know no one stays dead in comics for long.

Great read for those wanting an all encompassing Fantastic Four story. It lends itself perfectly to all Four members of the family, and provided great insight into what the future holds for the children of the Richards, Valerie and Franklin. A multitude of full on cosmic conundrums, this abridged version of the solve everything story line has everything you could want from an FF comic.
Apparently this edition is slightly abridged, but still really enjoyed — can see why this run is so popular, not sure how to go about reading the rest of it though!
