Ravyn and Kara are back, but will they get back together?
When a new addition joins the family it causes Kara to think twice about the violence Ravyn always brings into her life. The new family member also draws the unwanted attention from the Vatican.
Mistrust, lies, and control consume Ravyn and Kara as they fight to overcome the obstacles keeping them at odds. But will they go too far to hold onto their love?
Another great read...I just cannot read the next book
I was irritated by Kara in the first book and in this one her behavior was 100 times worse. I'm surprised Ravyn didn't kill her just so she wouldn't have to hear her whining voice and live with her absolutely stupid rules and attitude. Maybe if I hadn't read the first two books within a day, maybe I wouldn't feel this way, but I doubt it.
I REALLY like the first one, gave it 5 stars. I'm happy that this one is a continuation, but it was lacking a lot of what the first one had--realism, if that's even possible with a fantasy novel. I still enjoyed the characters, but found Kara to be quite whiny and obtuse this time around.
Maybe 2.5. So disappointing after how much I enjoyed the first book. I just basically hated all of the characters by the end of this one (well really by halfway through) and needless to say I will not be continuing in this series.
Ravyn and Kara loved them both and as well as the supporting characters but I did not expect Kara to be devious :). I'm definitely looking forward to see what happens next.
