Blindfold Fantasy (A Novel Menage) is by D.L. Roan. I’ve loved every book I have read by this author so I was so excited when I won this book in a give-a-way hosted by the author. First of all, just gaze at the cover. That alone had me dying to read this book. As with D.L.’s other books, the characters of this one instantly lodged themselves into my heart. Is this a sexy ménage story…yes, it most definitely is. But that isn’t all. This is about three people, all with their own issues, that found each other and maybe even saved each other.



Jayne Simon is an architect, specializing in sustainable architecture. When Jayne is on a project, she lives, sleeps and eats nothing but the project. She is a classic work-a-holic. As a result, her love life consists of a handful of very boring, very safe relationships. She has now landed the job of a lifetime. Her dream job. She is going to Los Angeles to work for Silverland Industries. The sad part is that she will have to leave behind her sister/best friend/roommate, Roxy. So as a going away present, Roxy takes the two of them to Las Vegas for a weekend of pampering and fun. Little did Jayne know what Roxy really had planned.



Devin Kirk is CEO of Silverland Industries. After his grandfather’s passing, Devin inherited the company. He is trying to do his grandfather proud by making a success of the company but hating every minute of it. He is in Vegas visiting his best friend, Blake Travers. But the night turns out to be the most passionate, memorable, orgasm filled night of her life. Now, she is in Los Angeles starting her new job and who walks in the conference room but Blake Travers, the man whose name was on the business card of the gigolo that Roxy had hired for her. But Blake doesn’t act like he remembers her at all. And even though Jayne never actually saw him, it just doesn’t feel like the same man.



Once these three come together, this book practically exploded. These three were amazingly sexy, the chemistry and connection was crazy. As I said above, though, this book is about so much more. It is about a connection soul deep between three people that needed each other in ways they didn’t understand. About three people that when they came together, became three parts of a whole. Blake and Devin have been best friends forever but a tragedy in their past damaged them both until Jayne came into their lives. There is also a bit of suspense involved as they try to find a leak in their organization. Someone is somehow infiltrating confidential documents and hindering their project. Everything builds up to an explosive ending and then my favorite part, the epilogue. I love epilogues and this one was perfect.



Did I love this book? YES YES YES! I won’t be forgetting these characters for a long time. So, if this is a genre that you enjoy, perhaps you will consider giving this one a try. If you do, I hope you fall in love with Jayne, Devin and Blake, and even Jayne’s best friend, Roxy, as much as I did.

This book was so fun to write. The characters are flawed and sometimes so funny I couldn't stop laughing long enough to write the scene. They don't always say and do the right things, but their story captivated me from the first moment I pictured Devin and Jayne together.

Devin Kirk is so intense and focused. He's got a job to do and no time for distractions, which is exactly what Jayne becomes; a life altering, perfect distraction. She's under his skin and he likes her there, but she was not part of his plan.


Blake Travers. Ah, Blake. He is so yummy. He's not a shattered soul, but he definitely has a few broken pieces. He is good for Jayne's ego, that's for sure. I can't wait for you to meet him and feel the chemistry between him and Jayne. You'll know then why Jayne could never choose between these two delicious men!


These three kept me up many late nights and gave me so many wonderful memories. I'm so glad to finally be sharing them with you. Happy reading, fans! I can't wait until the next one!

Holy hell fire.... I need to calm down, cool down and.... oh yeh... breathe.... I need to breathe. "Blindfold Fantasy" was my first venture into the world of M/F/M novels and I have to say, it was one, very HAWT read. Of course I had my concerns ... I mean three people in a relationship.... wouldn't it be awkward? Would it feel forced? Would the relationship be believable? Could three people really love one another equally without the green eyed monster rearing its ugly head? Well, I was pleasantly surprised at just how naturally this triad came about and just how beautifully it developed. What the characters shared wasn't always plain sailing but then when is any relationship, what I loved was just how right it all felt and just how much I found myself rooting for what they had to work! I'm just a sucker for a love story of any kind!!!

Fantasies were meant to help you survive reality. What happens when fantasy becomes reality? You freak the hell out, thats what happens! Breathe!

Jayne, Blake and Devin (the main characters) weren't difficult to fall in love with. Each of them was so different, each of them flawed, each of them with secrets and each of them displaying a vulnerability that just tugged at the heart strings. Regardless of their contrasting personalities, they worked perfectly together, each adding something to the relationship that made it so functional, so perfect, so realistic. And damn, those sex scenes... trust me... go find yourself a little reading corner somewhere where no one can see you because you will blush the deepest shade of red, you will squeeze your thighs shut, your toes will curl and your eyes will bug out at what you read. It's erotic, sexy, hot and just plain and simply damn fine even if I do say so myself!!!!

"Have you ever been so aroused, you lost the world around you?"

So is that what "Blindfold Fantasy" revolves around... the love story between Jayne, Blake and Devin? Well as interesting as it was, nope. I got sub plots that added a completely different dimension to this story. There was a whole "who done it" vibe going on with corruption, espionage, mystery and suspense that made for edge of your seat reading because of the sh*t storm it threw up!!!! It wasn't difficult to work out some of the twists but that didn't ruin my enjoyment of the story in any way, shape or form."Blindfold Fantasy" still made for a captivating read.

So all in all, another fab, well written read by DL Roan. My only tiny weany bug bare was that this book was written in third person. Initially I did get a little confused with Devin and Blake and their back stories and had to re-read a few parts just to make sure I'd gotten it right in my own head. But once I got everything straight, I loved Jayne, Devin and Blake's story. If you've not read a menage novel before, I'd say this is a fab one to pop your cherry. I rated "Blindfold Fantasy" 4 Hearts.

They loved one another with a raw, visceral abandon she was certain no one would survive.

If you enjoy your romance with a bit of edge, a bit of the erotic, and a bit of suspense then this is the book for you. DL Roan is one of those author's on my auto-buy list and this book has cemented her there. I love the way she develops the story and her characters. The angst is believable and the suspense aspects help move our characters down the path of romance a bit quicker without taking away from the story.

I have a soft spot for broken heroes and Devin and Blake do not disappoint. I love how DL has them both on the road to recovery before they meet our plain Jayne (so none of that she fixes all hurts sort of story here), but how the three of them together can bridge past hurts makes my heart pound.

I highly recommend Blindfold Fantasy!

Blindfold Fantasy (A Novel Menage), is the third book written by D.L .Roan that I’ve read, and not one of the authors books has let me down. Each of the authors works are uniquely different from each other, sharing only the quality writing, strong, well developed plots, life like characters, sexy alpha males and some of the hottest and erotic sex scenes around. D.L. Roan’s books shy away from the trendy romantic themes present in so many of today’s books, bringing a refreshing feel to the romantic suspense genre

Blindfold Fantasy was a very enjoyable, well written romantic suspense with a ménage twist. The cast of characters is small enough that you don’t need a score card to keep tract, the plot progress in a logical fashion, the sex scenes are tasteful, hot, and many are highly erotic in nature.

Roxie and Jayne have been friends for years, so close they actually think of each other as sisters, and they keep no secrets from each other. Blake and Devin have also been friends for years as well as colleagues in a Los Angles architectural firm. Through manipulation, and a challenge, the paths of our friends cross, setting in motion a story filled with suspense, romance, love, friendship and hot sex.
The story is complete in one book, has no cliff hanger, no loose ends and a very satisfying HEA.

RM: Yes, our first threesome. I’m glad it’s with you guys, it will be hard but I think we should take it gentle ;)

JS: I’m ready to jump right in… I was hoping for the middle, but I’ll rock the bottom. :-)

CM: Speaking of slow, to be honest, the book is starting off a little slow for me. Why am I at 12% in and nobody has had sex yet? I’m ready, no need to be this gentle!

RM: I like the anticipation of when, where and how they are going to get it on. It’s like readers foreplay! I feel like we are being teased and teased until we can’t take it anymore. I’m fit to burst at any minute so I hope it reaches its first climax soon!

JS: I agree with Christina, I mean, no mile high girl on girl action on the way to Vegas?? Although sexual tension build-up is always fun but I could have used a little action.

CM: What does everyone think of Jayne & Roxy? I really hope I warm up to Jayne at some point because this book is kind of long…Roxy seems a little, how should we say, over the top? I think we all have that one friend like that though, don’t we? I guess I’ve always been a bit more like Jayne than Roxy.

RM: Jayne is a little uptight isn’t she but it’s the uptight, quiet ones that you need to watch out for, I reckon she has a sexy minx in her waiting to claw it’s way out! Roxy and Jayne seem complete opposites on the exterior but I bet deep down Roxy has more of Jayne’s personality than what we are seeing. I like that Roxy is loud and over the top, it’s keeping the story fun. She seems a great, supportive friend for Jayne to have.

JS: I feel like Jayne was the kind of character that was purposefully vague so that the reader can picture themselves in her. Not that I pressed myself up against the glass of my room while reading or anything…

CM: O.k., well then! So, Jayne went through with it! What do y’all think of Devin? For not really wanting to do it, he was certainly into it, wasn’t he?

RM: Oh god, yes!! He certainly lost his nerves and owned that scene. They had explosive sexual chemistry between them. By the time this scene came I was on the edge of my seat. The author had me so worked up by this point, desperate for action that when it finally happened I felt like I was a voyager in the room with them. Devin did a good job of calming both their nerves down and had me swooning. All he had to say was “I want you” and I melted. I loved how they got so completely lost in one another.

JS: I loved that scene. I thought Devin was a little greedy, which I loved, but then I was a little let down for Blake. I knew his turn was coming but I thought he should have been up first or at least brought up the rear. ;-)

CM: When they all finally figure out who is who, what are you thinking? Is there one you prefer over the other? Blake or Devin? I’m thinking Ms. Roan has the right idea and I’d like to be the cream filling in that sexy sammich! Both guys are hot for completely different reasons. Blake seems like the loyal puppy dog kind of love, Devin seems like the soul crushing, intense kind of love.

RM: At the beginning I was all for Devin but then we got to read a lot more from Blake’s point of view and I fell for both of them equally, I was surprised at that as usually you kinda have a favourite. I completely agree with your perceptions of the two men Christina. They absolutely adore Jayne and I can state now that I am so jealous of Jayne at this point! What a swoony, intense pair of men! I have to say, after all the skirting around and back and forth, what a way to find out who was who!
JS: I don’t know what it is about that boy but I’m leaning towards team Blake. I just want a sexy morning moment with him while my other lover goes to fetch my clothes. Although in real like I would give Blake an eye twitch. I’m way too messy for him.

CM: I’m pretty sure Blake is my BBF soul mate…I’m OCD like that!

CM: Anyone else think Devin’s sister is cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs? Why do you think Devin doesn’t see what everyone else seems to?

RM: I dislike Devin’s sister immensely. She seems like she could be poisonous to their relationship, talk about issues, that woman has a trunk full! I can’t understand why Devin doesn’t see any of it? I guess he still see’s her as his kid sister, harmless but crazy. It’s strange as he doesn’t take any crap from people yet he takes his sister and mum’s meddling time and time again.

JS: I think she’s way more dangerous than unstable. She seems too calculating to me. Someone needs to be keeping tabs on that one!

CM: I need to put it out there right now, and I know Rachel is going to back me up on this one, why can’t we see a little mano y mano action between Devin & Blake? Now THAT would be hot. ;)

RM: Yes Christina, you know me too well! For this story it didn’t even have to be the full works but you could tell that there was some kind of deep love to Devin and Blakes friendship and I would have liked to see a bit of intimacy between them. Maybe some loving kissing, a stroke or caress or two. I kept thinking they were going to get it on a bit but nothing happened. I was expecting Devin to make the move toward that if I am honest with you.

JS: Totally!!! I just wanted a little reach around if nothing else. C’mon guys, make Jayne squirm while she watches you!!! I’d watch!

RM: Did you guys feel that there was the right amount of sex in this book? Only, I was expecting quite a bit more sex than we actually got. I also felt that there could have been a bit more three way action than we were treated to. That’s not something I find myself saying often after I have finished a book, it’s usually the opposite but after looking at the hot cover and having the title Blindfold Fantasy I was expecting a bit more….The sex the book did have though was very HOT in my opinion. What do you both think?

CM: I totally agree. I wanted MORE. I wanted red, hot, sweaty, monkey love. Yes, I said monkey love. Like, full on bonobo. (Sorry, my degree IS in Anthropology…) I am also one of those people that doesn’t need sex in Every. Single. Chapter. I find that if there is too much sex, I just skim. Maybe it’s a testament to Ms. Roan’s writing that she can set up a pretty good sex scene, I know I wanted more! And DEFINITELY more menage!

JS: I wanted more. I would have loved to see some more with the three of them. I also wouldn’t have hated a little Roxy/ Jayne action either. Alas…

CM: Definitely agree Julie! I think the relationships between Devin & Blake and Jayne & Roxy lent themselves for some serious action between themselves. Even if it’s a “gay for you” type of situation, their relationships ran deep and I can definitely see the connection.

RM: This book was far more than a blindfold fantasy, it was a fun read with depth, love and friendship. I actually think it makes a perfect holiday read. What do you guys think?

CM: Your Brit is showing through there Rachel…I’m assuming by “holiday” you mean “vacation”, right? ;) Not as in, I’m going home to my parent’s house for Christmas, I gotta read about getting it on! Teehee. I agree, excellent beach or vacation book. Especially if the kids are at grandma’s…

RM: Haha! Yes, sorry, I meant ‘vacation’. I’m still learning all this American speak. ;)

JS: It had way more depth than a blindfold fantasy! I think there is lots of material here that could be expanded on also. I’d say read it when you have some time alone or before date night to spice things up. :-)

CM: Definitely hit up Costco for the batteries for this one…

RM: I wholeheartedly agree with your reasoning Christina and give it 4 stars also. That said, I really enjoyed this and would definitely recommend it.

JS: 4 stars for me as well. I thought the book was really good, I really would have liked to see a little Blake on Devin action but otherwise the sex was hot. Sometimes the boys reactions to sexual stuff was slightly unbelievable for two guys who used to share a girl and frequent a voyeurism club.

I have been a fan of Ms Roan's work since I first got my hands on Second Chance, and I have been eagerly awaiting Blindfold Fantasy.

And it was definitely worth the wait!!

In an effort to get her out of her rut of boring men and boring sex, Roxy takes Jayne to Vegas for a weekend of living it up. Never did she know that she would be changing Jayne's life forever.

Jayne has always had a fantasy of sex with a stranger, blindfolded, her "blindfold fantasy". And she gets it, as much as it is so completely opposite of her normal behaviour. Besides, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, right? Or does it?

Devin hasn't been the same since that night. He has searched high and low for the girl from that one perfect night to no avail.

Devin's best friend Blake has heard all about Devin's search for his girl, but he is more interested in the girl in front of him.

What will happen when all three world's collide. There is one word for what happens:

SUPERCALIFRAGILISITICSEXYALIDOCIOUS!!

I loved the interactions between Jayne and Blake, Jayne and Devin, but most of all between Jayne, Blake and Devin together (or JaBlevin as I have taken to calling them!!)

The sexual chemistry between all three is off the charts. There were times where I both loved and hated all characters, either one at a time or all at the same time. I was waiting for Blake and Devin to come to blows over Jayne, I was waiting for Jayne to tell them both to forget it.

And hey, if you said forget it, I would have jumped in to be the meat in the Blake Devin sandwich... Jayne/Janeane,.... same thing right?!?

Besides all the hotness of the trio, there are some great (and not so great) secondary characters. Love Jayne's best friend Roxie to bits. She has a smart ass attitude and the mouth to go with hit. She gives Jayne what for at times but she is also her biggest supporter. And I love the way she talks to and about the boys!

There there is Mallory - hissss!!!! Won't tell you much about her but gees she is a cow! There was not one time whilst reading that I liked her! And as for her and Devin's mother - yeah, go away woman!

Blindfold Fantasy has a bit of everything. It is sweet, sexy, hot. But there is a bit of mystery and intrigue too that had my guessing.

Ms Roan made me want to be Jayne. She drew me into their world and I didn't want to leave!

Now, I wonder what she will bring us next?

Yeah, okay... I'm fessing up. I'm a sucker for menage romance.
As long as the story is well written and reasonably (!) realistic, I'm satisfied. But then there are those that just stand out against all the shallow, smutty, and rushed plots that are currently flooding the market. Blindfold Fantasy by D.L. Roan is one of those.

The plot:
When 26 year old architect Jayne Simon is given a job offer at Silverland Industries in Los Angeles, her best friend, Roxy, takes her on a weekend trip to Las Vegas to celebrate the good news. Reluctantly, Jayne gives in to meet the callboy Roxy has hired without her knowing, but only on one condition: both of them are to wear blindfolds in order to ensure anonymity.
Due to a mix-up, Jayne believes she has spent the most amazing night of her life with Blake, the blond Adonis she'd seen on the photo, and who later turns out to be the Project Manager she has to work with. In reality, it was Silverland Industries CEO and Blake's best friend, Devin, who's been hoping ever since that unforgettable night to meet the sweet and coy woman he just can't get out of his mind again.
When the misunderstanding is eventually unveiled, both men and Jayne herself have already developed too many feelings to make any choices. But maybe, maybe the three of them can work it out anyway?

The story is told in 3rd Person and from different POVs, switching between Jayne, Blake and Devin.
I really liked the writing style and being able to have a look into each character's thoughts, to witness the hopes, fears and doubts regarding their "arrangement".

One of the main reasons why I enjoyed this book so much was because of the awesome, highly likeable main characters.
Jayne is that innocent, good girl (no virgin! whew) who starts stammering when she's nervous, but turns into a confident and competent woman as soon as she's in business mode. She's sweet and caring without being annoyingly nice, but at the same time she's strong and can stand her ground when required.
Blake... oh, Blake. On the surface easy and outgoing, inwardly troubled and lonely, neat freak and virtually faints when confronted with even the tiniest drop of blood. Former womanizer with an annoying stalker (who happens to be Devin's baby sister) always on his heels.
And then there's Devin, with a certain air of a brooding alpha male, but without all those overbearing caveman antics that seem to be so popular these days. He has to deal with a pesky, high-maintenance family and an immense responsibility he doesn't want.

Another thing I liked about this book was the comparatively realistic approach to a polyamorous relationship. It wasn't just about the sex (although there's a lot of droolworthy hotness going on, yum), but there's also lots of emphasis on the romance and on character development.

But there's even more! Even those of you who enjoy some suspense in your romance, should get your money's worth. But I won't spoil any of that storyline.

Two words to describe this book...sinfully sexy! This book was sexy, stimulating, dangerous and erotic! I loved Devin and Blake who are best friends but different in so many ways! THen you have shy and reserved Jayne! Will Jayne survive her one night on the wild side or will it come back to haunt her? Will Blake be able to overcome his past? What a Smokin Awesome book! The camaraderie and totally opposite personalities and laugh out loud funny banter between Jayne and Roxy and the whole concept of a Blindfold Fantasy had me hooked right from the start! And then along came Blake and Devin and I was in LUST! Actually, Jayne mirrored my first thoughts exactly - "Handsome, tattooed, vulture capitalist-Sex Gods"! Was definitely Hot enough to rival global warming! AND with just the right amount of angst and suspense and heartbreak thrown in - I did not want to put my kindle down. And I fell in Love with the Epilogue! For everyone, whose ever had a secret fantasy that they wished could be fulfilled, this is the book for you! DL Roan has, once again, added another book to my "Favorites" list!

RM: I like the anticipation of when, where and how they are going to get it on. It’s like readers foreplay! I feel like we are being teased and teased until we can’t take it anymore. I’m fit to burst at any minute so I hope it reaches its first climax soon!

JS: I agree with Christina, I mean, no mile high girl on girl action on the way to Vegas?? Although sexual tension build-up is always fun but I could have used a little action.

CM: What does everyone think of Jayne & Roxy? I really hope I warm up to Jayne at some point because this book is kind of long…Roxy seems a little, how should we say, over the top? I think we all have that one friend like that though, don’t we? I guess I’ve always been a bit more like Jayne than Roxy.

RM: Jayne is a little uptight isn’t she but it’s the uptight, quiet ones that you need to watch out for, I reckon she has a sexy minx in her waiting to claw it’s way out! Roxy and Jayne seem complete opposites on the exterior but I bet deep down Roxy has more of Jayne’s personality than what we are seeing. I like that Roxy is loud and over the top, it’s keeping the story fun. She seems a great, supportive friend for Jayne to have.

JS: I feel like Jayne was the kind of character that was purposefully vague so that the reader can picture themselves in her. Not that I pressed myself up against the glass of my room while reading or anything…

CM: O.k., well then! So, Jayne went through with it! What do y’all think of Devin? For not really wanting to do it, he was certainly into it, wasn’t he?

RM: Oh god, yes!! He certainly lost his nerves and owned that scene. They had explosive sexual chemistry between them. By the time this scene came I was on the edge of my seat. The author had me so worked up by this point, desperate for action that when it finally happened I felt like I was a voyager in the room with them. Devin did a good job of calming both their nerves down and had me swooning. All he had to say was “I want you” and I melted. I loved how they got so completely lost in one another.

JS: I loved that scene. I thought Devin was a little greedy, which I loved, but then I was a little let down for Blake. I knew his turn was coming but I thought he should have been up first or at least brought up the rear. ;-)

CM: When they all finally figure out who is who, what are you thinking? Is there one you prefer over the other? Blake or Devin? I’m thinking Ms. Roan has the right idea and I’d like to be the cream filling in that sexy sammich! Both guys are hot for completely different reasons. Blake seems like the loyal puppy dog kind of love, Devin seems like the soul crushing, intense kind of love.

RM: At the beginning I was all for Devin but then we got to read a lot more from Blake’s point of view and I fell for both of them equally, I was surprised at that as usually you kinda have a favourite. I completely agree with your perceptions of the two men Christina. They absolutely adore Jayne and I can state now that I am so jealous of Jayne at this point! What a swoony, intense pair of men! I have to say, after all the skirting around and back and forth, what a way to find out who was who!

JS: I don’t know what it is about that boy but I’m leaning towards team Blake. I just want a sexy morning moment with him while my other lover goes to fetch my clothes. Although in real like I would give Blake an eye twitch. I’m way too messy for him.

CM: I’m pretty sure Blake is my BBF soul mate…I’m OCD like that!

CM: Anyone else think Devin’s sister is cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs? Why do you think Devin doesn’t see what everyone else seems to?

RM: I dislike Devin’s sister immensely. She seems like she could be poisonous to their relationship, talk about issues, that woman has a trunk full! I can’t understand why Devin doesn’t see any of it? I guess he still see’s her as his kid sister, harmless but crazy. It’s strange as he doesn’t take any crap from people yet he takes his sister and mum’s meddling time and time again.

JS: I think she’s way more dangerous than unstable. She seems too calculating to me. Someone needs to be keeping tabs on that one!

CM: I need to put it out there right now, and I know Rachel is going to back me up on this one, why can’t we see a little mano y mano action between Devin & Blake? Now THAT would be hot. ;)

RM: Yes Christina, you know me too well! For this story it didn’t even have to be the full works but you could tell that there was some kind of deep love to Devin and Blakes friendship and I would have liked to see a bit of intimacy between them. Maybe some loving kissing, a stroke or caress or two. I kept thinking they were going to get it on a bit but nothing happened. I was expecting Devin to make the move toward that if I am honest with you.

JS: Totally!!! I just wanted a little reach around if nothing else. C’mon guys, make Jayne squirm while she watches you!!! I’d watch!

RM: Did you guys feel that there was the right amount of sex in this book? Only, I was expecting quite a bit more sex than we actually got. I also felt that there could have been a bit more three way action than we were treated to. That’s not something I find myself saying often after I have finished a book, it’s usually the opposite but after looking at the hot cover and having the title Blindfold Fantasy I was expecting a bit more….The sex the book did have though was very HOT in my opinion. What do you both think?

CM: I totally agree. I wanted MORE. I wanted red, hot, sweaty, monkey love. Yes, I said monkey love. Like, full on bonobo. (Sorry, my degree IS in Anthropology…) I am also one of those people that doesn’t need sex in Every. Single. Chapter. I find that if there is too much sex, I just skim. Maybe it’s a testament to Ms. Roan’s writing that she can set up a pretty good sex scene, I know I wanted more! And DEFINITELY more menage!

JS: I wanted more. I would have loved to see some more with the three of them. I also wouldn’t have hated a little Roxy/ Jayne action either. Alas…

CM: Definitely agree Julie! I think the relationships between Devin & Blake and Jayne & Roxy lent themselves for some serious action between themselves. Even if it’s a “gay for you” type of situation, their relationships ran deep and I can definitely see the connection.

RM: This book was far more than a blindfold fantasy, it was a fun read with depth, love and friendship. I actually think it makes a perfect holiday read. What do you guys think?

CM: Your Brit is showing through there Rachel…I’m assuming by “holiday” you mean “vacation”, right? ;) Not as in, I’m going home to my parent’s house for Christmas, I gotta read about getting it on! Teehee. I agree, excellent beach or vacation book. Especially if the kids are at grandma’s…

RM: Haha! Yes, sorry, I meant ‘vacation’. I’m still learning all this American speak. ;)

JS: It had way more depth than a blindfold fantasy! I think there is lots of material here that could be expanded on also. I’d say read it when you have some time alone or before date night to spice things up. :-)

CM: Definitely hit up Costco for the batteries for this one…

CM: So let’s talk numbers, ladies. I am comfortable with 4 stars, what about you? It was well written, certainly kept my interest throughout, I loved the characters, but I just wanted….more. I would have loved to see more depth of the threesome relationship, not to mention more sexy times!

RM: I wholeheartedly agree with your reasoning Christina and give it 4 stars also. That said, I really enjoyed this and would definitely recommend it.

JS: 4 stars for me as well. I thought the book was really good, I really would have liked to see a little Blake on Devin action but otherwise the sex was hot. Sometimes the boys reactions to sexual stuff was slightly unbelievable for two guys who used to share a girl and frequent a voyeurism club.

She was drunk on this man’s touch and it felt so unbelievably good to let go of everything and just….feel him.

I will preface this review with the fact that I absolutely love DL Roan. I fell in love with her Second Chances and Second Nature books last year and I just knew I was in for a treat when I got the synopsis and teasers for this one. After reading this book, I can safely say that she isn’t a one trick pony. She can write! She has the ability to wind you up and set you off….in such an erotic and sexy way. To say that I felt honored to be able to be a part of her tour for this book would be an understatement.

DL really can write a super steamy, sexy HOT ménage scene…..but reading this book, I can see the intense sensuality that played out in this one. This book was such a good, sensual and sexy read. It just was. Oh my gosh…to see a guy that goes into this ‘fantasy’ half-hearted, but comes out deeply affected, yep. DL did THAT. ToME. But on top of all that, I got a good laugh too. For a book to be so intense yet you can still laugh and not pull away from the intense feelings, that was awesome writing on her part. I laughed, I swooned, I lusted (I may be married, but I’m not dead!) and I felt the pain…all the emotions they felt, I felt.

To set it up, based on the synopsis alone…..Jayne has a super outgoing best friend in Roxy. Roxy lives life and enjoys it and they have been the best of friends for years. They have taken care of each other through all their hard times and they are pretty much sisters. To celebrate Jayne’s new big job, Roxy wants to celebrate BIG TIME—Las Vegas style BIG. Jayne is so….so…..safe. Quietly beautiful, even though she doesn’t know it, she is always safe in her decisions in life. Roxy is the one that adds the spice of life to her life! Needless to say, Roxy talks her into fulfilling one of her fantasies and Jayne is not too sure about this one!

That is how we meet Devin. Devin is all man….ALL man. Alpha, in control, always has things figured out and gets what he wants, when he wants it. He never settles. He showed up at his best friend’s house and Blake needed some help out with a “job”. I watched as Devin ends up with Jayne this fateful night and just fell into deep love. With a sensual and deep connection that even surprised him after their amazing night together, Devin is seriously shocked at what he feels. The way their night plays out, I really could have read an entire book based on that night alone!!

DL truly put the emotion and sensuality into this part of the story that just made me feel and swoon right along with Jayne. I think it’s safe to say, I fell in love with Devin…..I was in Devin Heaven!! With mind-numbing pleasure caressing Jayne’s body at the hands of Devin, the connection between these two is felt equally powerfully on both sides.

He took care of her in every way possible…..but it wasn’t an in and out job. Nope. One promised orgasm turned into an entire night of desires and heart stopping, breath stealing moments of pure bliss. I meant it when I said that I could have read an entire book based on this night alone….it was pure sensuality based on senses alone. AAACK!! I loved it!!

If you think for one second that I’m leaving this room before I make you cum around me at least three more times, you can just get that thought right out of your pretty little head, angel. We’re just getting warmed up. ~Devin

So how did Blake worm his way into Jayne’s (and MINE) heart?? Well, I am a firm believer in fate. I love it when it plays out in a book so perfectly and it is actually a believable storyline. Blake is a carefree guy….on the outside. On the inside, he is trying to escape a painful past and live his life happily with no regrets and no pain. The way he meets Jayne makes the story all that more enticing. Just watching it play out in Jayne’s mind….and then seeing Blake’s realization, yep. It was entertaining to say the least. I loved it. So funny! But Blakey-poo has a naughty side….one that would make a guilty pleasure come to life effortlessly, because he would be riiiiiight next to you enjoying it as well. HOT!!!

Heart stopping affection……that is what the three of them had. Magnetic? Intense? Erotic and sensual? Multiply that by 100 and you might be getting close. It was a force they had no control over.

However, the heavy pull on my heartstrings was evident when a problem arose, and we shall name that problem BITCH. To see them go through something so heartbreaking for as strong as they were caused by something so evil and so blindsiding, I truly felt the pain. It gave a whole new meaning to keeping your enemies close….

Some things are just hot……and DL really knows how to write a sexy and steamy ménage scene. I was so invested in this storyline. I felt a part of it….I was feeling their emotions, their love, the intensity between them and the heartache they went through. You want a good ménage story that is intense and believable and insanely sexy….pick up this book. I mean it. DL is easily one of my favorites, but I would never lie about something so important.

Excellent writing. Excellent story. Excellent characters. Excellent all around.

This is the third book I have read by DL Roan & I have loved each & every one. She is one fantastic storyteller. DL writes exceptional ménage stories.

As the story starts we meet Jayne & her best friend Roxy. Jayne just got the job of her dreams, in LA & Roxy convinces her they need to celebrate in Vegas. Once they get to Vegas Roxy plans all kinds of things to loosen up Jayne, including a blindfold fantasy night with a gigolo, she even shows Jayne a picture of him. Jayne is very shy & naïve & she refuses at first, but she finally agrees. Blake is the gigolo Roxy hired but he is double-booked & he convinces his buddy, Devin, to take his place. Both Jayne & her gigolo are to be blindfolded. Jayne is extremely nervous when Devin knocks on her door. Even though blindfolded, Devin realizes that she is an innocent & sets about rocking her world. Little does he realize, at least in the beginning, that his own world is being rocked as well. After a night of mind blowing sex, Devin wakes up the next morning while Jayne is still asleep. Before he leaves he takes a peak at the woman who has won his heart sight unseen. He can’t believe how beautiful she is.

When Jayne gets to LA she soon believes, mistakenly, that her boss is the man with whom she had the best sex of her life. She can’t believe her terrible luck, why do these things always happen to her? Every time she tries to break out of her safe little life she gets caught. Meanwhile, Blake hasn’t a clue who she is, of course, but he is quickly falling for her. And Devin? Well, he is frantically trying to find Simone (the name Roxy used when she hired the gigolo). But he’s stuck in Canada for the first month after his company’s new architect arrives.

Sound confusing??? Not as much as you would think. And, oh my, it is definitely hot, Hot, HOT!!! This book is a definite must read. Hot guys, sexy but innocent girl, funny friend, some drama, some tears. DL you are great!!!

This cover is one that caught my eye right from the start. The color schemes are perfect for what you will encounter in this amazing novel. The author captivated me right from the beginning with her style of writing and kept my attention peaked until the end. It was flawlessly written and well thought with enough storyline and emotions to keep any readers wanting more. The characters I fell in love with and even wanted to be a part of. This author has the ability to take her characters and pull you into their steamy scenes and then feel all of their other emotions also. It doesn’t matter what part of the story your in you will feel it, there even was a time where I wanted to cry.
Jayne is set up with one of her fantasy by her best friend Roxy. Little does she know that this fantasy will come back around and rock her change her life. I love these two characters because they are so different but they are so close and will do anything for each other. Jayne needed a little lift in her boring and safe life so Roxy comes and saves the day.
Devin and Blake are both sexy and will make you melt just by their words and actions. Put these two together and your in for the menage of a life time. I don’t know which one I loved more but I did want to slap one of them during a portion of this book. In the end though he made up for it.

If you have never read anything by this author you are missing out, I highly recommend Blindfold Fantasy but also you should go and read her other novels they are also amazing. I can not wait to see what else this amazing author has up her sleeves for the next novel! I would love a piece of Devin Pie with Blake on Top!!! Trust me when you read this you will understand because this was one devilish amazingly hot read!!

Okay let me tell you this book blows her other books OUT OF THE WATER. Just wanted to say that. I can't believe the journey that DL Roan took me on in this one.
One of the things I love about Mrs. Roan's work is that she has a tendency to make the evil seem good and the good seem evil. The characters are much the same way and I LOVE IT!!! On my toes, biting my nails until the end.

So there were a few things that I thought I knew was going to happen or was happening and as per usual I was wrong. As I sat and stared at me kindle that flashed that it was over, I still couldn't decide who I loved more; Blake or Devin. There were moments when I just wanted one or the other more than the other. I need more of them, but sadly their story is completed in this book.

GAH! I can't put into words what I felt while reading this book and what I felt after I finished. This story is just.... GAH!

This book is MORE than just a woman with two guys. It's about discovering yourself after being torn apart by a past or personal experience. It's about opening your heart and fight for what you want most in the world. This book goes beyond the steaminess.
The emotion that is conveyed in each page is intense, heartbreaking, gut wrenching and so much more.

This is one book that you don't want to pass up.

I look at all the books turning into movies these days and honestly I'd LOVE to see this one turn into one. The chemistry and connection between the characters; Devin, Jayne, Blake and even Roxy (Jayne's best friend).

Be prepared to have your heart melted, broke and mended. This is a MUST MUST MUST read!!!

Wow. I have read some ménage books before but nothing like this. Best friends all the way. Or should I say, two very hot best friends.

Jayne and Roxy grew up together as sisters. When Roxy moved to New York to go to college Janye went with her. As time went on and Janye was working as an architect she applied for her dream job. When she received news she got the job Roxy planned a get away weekend to Las Vegas. Jayne always saw her self as plain so Roxy as a surprise hired a gigolo to play out her fantasy blind folded.

Blake and Devin were best friends. They would share their women sometimes but other times not. When Devin went to Las Vegas to retrieve Blake they had been in a sharing relationship that ended in tragedy and Blake left home. Blake worked as a gigolo for hire doing blind fold fantasies before Devin arrived. What happened after that is what changed Jayne's world and Devin's and Blake's world also.

Jayne after that night couldn't forget Blake. So when she started her new job she saw him and remembered his picture but Blake didn't say he remembered her so she just tried to go on with work. Blake was on a business trip but when he came home saw Jayne things took a twist. Jayne was never sure if she could handle two men. Let alone how to make the relationship work.

Could Jayne, Blake, and Devin make a relationship work? Who showed up in Jaynes room to play out her blindfold fantasy? Was is Blake or was it Devin pretending to be Blake? The twist and suspense in this book is exciting.

I would recommend this to my friends.

Holy freaking hotness! ;) D.L.Roan sure knows how to write a hot, sexy as h&** book! You will feel for all 3 characters until the very end! You will see them over come with desire, passion, love, lust, devotion, drama, heartache, sadness and intense sexiness that will blow your mind until the end.

Jayne has always been just "plain Jayne". She feels she isn't much to look at compared to her bestie, Roxy. So, her bestie decides to take them to VEGAS.. and needless to say, she has Jayne hook up with a GIGOLO. What happens when she goes thru with it? She meets 2 fabulous men, who are nothing of what she ever predicted.

Both Blake and Devin are hot, amazing, sensual, experienced men with hot fantasies.. every woman's dream come true. Yet, both have some demons and pain that are still holding them back in a sense. Yet, when they are with Jayne everything seems right and they both want her.

You will love all the characters. Jayne will grip you and you will be envious of her predicament. She's one lucky lady to be in between that sandwich. (lol) yes, I said that!

Blake and Devin- holy hotness! You will be floored, amazed and infatuated with these hotties. They are sensitive, sexy, brooding, extremely loving and more when it comes to Jayne.

You best be prepared to fan yourself throughout this hot, amazing, sexy book by D.L.Roan! D.L. knows exactly how to write a hot, steamy romance book!

There are some novels that just make you feel sexy from the moment you open them until you put them down, which in this case I couldn't do. I started and finished it 9 hours later. Yeah, it's that damn hot! Jayne, Devin, & Blake. This is one hot trio. But I am getting ahead of myself here.

Jayne is very, how do I say this nicely, boring. =) She is beautiful and smart but somehow doesn't know how to combine the two, until her friend Roxy takes her to Vegas and she meets Devin. Devin seems to know how to bring out the best in Jayne because their meeting is insane! But when they part Devin is different and he cannot shake the beautiful girl in Vegas.

Enter Blake, Devin's friend and well now you have a interesting dynamic. Fate is a very interesting thing. How many of us have hoped we could have the perfect three way relationship? How often does it ever become a reality? Well....this time, it became a very real thing. And it is mind blowing.

There is so much to this story and honestly I am being vague because you need to sit down and read it! There is a lot of mystery and suspense and sexual insanity that was so hot that I actually caught myself drinking a lot of wine during this reading session. Oh and I was almost late to work the next morning because I read straight through the night! DL Roan blew me away!

I give this 4.5 lipticks! It is a hot as hell read!

4.5 stars. This is my first ménage novel and it did not disappoint. There was no way to avoid liking Jayne, Devin and Blake and the dynamic between them. Jayne pretty much got to live out a real world fantasy by having 2 incredibly attractive and sexy guys lavish affection and attention on her. Each of the characters were well described. Jayne, who always feels plain and simple, has a heart of gold and compassion that there is no limit to how much she can care about a person. Devin is a CEO with alpha tendencies and is closed off to emotional attachments that pretty much shatter around Jayne. Blake is a broken guy wading through each day of life without clear purpose except to make it to the next, but that broken side of him hurts less with Jayne. The way the story is woven creates a deep attachment to all 3 of them that it is impossible for Jayne to choose one guy. They pull Jayne out of her sheltered existence and introduce a new kind of passion to her. She seals up the holes in their hearts and make them think of forever with her. They have a synergistic effect when all 3 of them are together. Needless to say, it's a hot read with other story lines mixed in and all I can say is that Jayne is one lucky woman.

The one thing I like about DeElle's books are that the male characters are up front from the beginning with what they want from their woman. They do not hide who they are or what they enjoy and it leads to a more open, happy and honest relationship. As always though, there is someone who wants to destroy their happiness.

Blake and Devin have a very unique relationship and understand each other. They need a woman who will understand and accept their needs. They had it once before but in a slightly different way from how they want their relationship with Jayne. I had so much trouble putting this book down that I only got two hours sleep last night (tired now!)

This is the first book I have read by this author but I assure you it will not be the last! I liked the concept and the characters. Most erotic romances, and especially menage, lack plot but not this one. In addition to romance, super seamy sex, great sensuality, there is supense and that suspense gets a little scary at times. However, sometimes it was like a soap opera with to much drama. For that reason I rated the book 3.5 and assigned a "sexy" rating of 5. The sexy scenes are intense and yet very sensual. It is difficult to find a well done menage (m/f/m) story but D.L. Roan has hit the bullseye!

This book had some really great moments; the characters were likable and the writing style was easy to follow. I just thought there was too much going on that didn't involve their relationship; the corporate espionage, the crazy sister, the dead fiance, the best friend's issues all took up a lot of the story. I will say that the author did a good job of pulling it all together in the end, but I just wish he/she hadn't used so many external factors to push the plot forward. Having said that, just because romantic suspense isn't my favorite genre, doesn't mean it's not yours. If you're into that kind of thing, then this book is for you!

I have to start off by saying I normally don't read menage novels, but after falling in love with Second Nature I knew I had to read BF.
BF has everything a reader craves; a steamy well-written plot with emotionally challenged characters that keep you turning the pages waiting for their HEA.The sex scenes were beautifully written and romantic. DL's writing style is humors and entertaining. "Rug burns be damned."
Overall I loved BF!
I don't give away spoilers but if you love a well-written menage, BF is a must read.

This is a very HOT book but what surprised me the most is that it was not all about sex. Yes there are menage sex scenes but I got hooked with each character. There was some suspense and drama. Each character has skeletons in their closets and try to ignore them. We know that never works for long. The three characters didn't go into this relationship blindly but it was a very bumpy road for all of them. I loved it and can't wait for more from this author.

After reading Second Chances and Second Nature I was so excited to read Blindfold Fantasy. Let me tell you, I would love to have a best friend that would take me to Vegas and get me a gigolo to celebrate my new job! The whole blindfold fantasy night was H.O.T. and the story and relationship between Jayne, Devin and Blake was even hotter. Throw in a crazy sister and a spy and you have a great story!
