I love how Sara took liberties with the paranormal genre. The Fae and a werewolf have a daughter and she has the magic of the Fea and can shift into a wolf. It is a great adventure and they face off against an ancient magic from the beginning of time. Great story.

Griffin is watching Tara. They are fated mates but have split. She seems to be stress eating. As he's walking over to hug her and be with her again after his stupidity he's hit on the head. When he wakes she's gone. He shakes his head and starts to look for her. Her scent takes him into an area that was considered dangerous. There he sees an etheral like being. That person says that Queen Rhiannon figured he'd show up. Who is this queen? He asks questions and they tell him that they are Fae. Their Queen wants Tara.
When Tara awakens she sees Griffin and then he vanishes or more like she does. She's taken to the Queen. Tara sees her mother. sighWhen Griffin finally awakens sitting next to him is King Cormac. Griffin is King of Florida for the wolf shifters. He tells Griffin that the people who Tara are dangerous and he needs to get better control of himself. They speak and Cormac tells him about Rhiannon and the Fae. They are an ancient and long lived race. Then he breaks the news to Griffin that Tara is pregnant with his child. Griffin decides then and there he's going after what is his. He knows a guy....oh oh.
He calls on his friend Ryder and together they will make a way to find Tara and before something happens to her and the children. Ryder has had a vision and it is necessary to start soon. So Griffin goes to another cousin. They go back to meet up with King Cormac and he gives them a leaf that will get them into fae. Meanwhile Tara is trying to escape but has had no success. Time is running out and Tara needs to save not only herself but her babies too. Will she make an escape? Will Griffin get there in time? What will happen to her mother? Father? Only time will tell.
A master piece of adventure, thriller, adventure and love.

It starts with a bang.
It was like ‘wham!’, here’s a little bit of action for you.
I admit, at the beginning, I was confused. Quite a bit of time spent introducing characters while building the story, so I found myself going back and forth quite a bit to work out what was going on.
I persevered, and managed to get there.
But geez….. how long does it take to find out why the rejection happened! 🤣
I was hoping to have my reason early, but…. Denied. 🙅♀️ 🤣
Seriously though….
Pretty well written. I’m a stickler for typo’s and I didn’t find many, so I was able to stay focussed on the story itself.
After the opening scene, it was a little slow to move, which did cause me to pause the read a few times, but I still enjoyed it!.

Absolutely unique story that’s captivating from the start. Different take on shifter romance which I absolutely love! Plot tugs at your heart strings and brings out so many different emotions throughout reading. Gorgeously written scenes that drive you to read faster, needing to know what comes next. One of those books you just don’t want to put down! Characters and universe that you want to know more about and will definitely revisit. Need this book to be a part of a series! The spice is wonderful 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ and the ending for me is a cherry on top! This is a must own book, a true treasure to have in your library.

I’m in love with supernatural books! I really felt sorry for the loss of her mate right in the beginning of the book. Then the twist and turns of the plot kept going. I’m still not a fan of her mother Rhianna never warmed up to her. During the battle scenes I felt like there was too much dialogue about what they should do and how are they able to talk so much during the fighting? I got lost near the end of the book I couldn’t tell who the demon was in. Then it wrapped up too fast.

Tara and Griffin’s story encompasses three worlds ; the fae, human and shifter. The worlds collide as they face anew an evil faced hundreds of years prior and only held in stasis. This storyline has great world building and wonderful characters. There is no “insta” fix, they all have to work together to make it happen. There is love and loss, and the losses are hard on Tara and Griffin’s most. This storyline took me in from the first chapter and kept me engaged until the last ! 5✨’s.

Alpha's rejected fated mate kicks off after Tara (FMC) has been rejected by Griffin. Living with the repercussions of that as well as being alone and pregnant. When her estranged mother - Rhianna turns up wanting to reconnect with Tara things start to escalate and become more dangerous for her when secrets are uncovered. Dragging her and Griffin into a war encompassing shifters, humans and Fae. Lots of plot twists and turns, people with their own agendas and some tears too. An enjoyable read with characters that kept me gripped to this book.

This is an emotional read with intrigue, betrayal, and tested love, with things not as they seem.
The fights are intense, friendships are put in peril and families are torn apart, however, packs must come together to battle the impending evil.

Another great sifter story by Sara Wind. The characters were all well developed and engaging. And the world building is beautifully, rich and vivid. I love this book and it kept me turning page after page. A must read!

Poor Tara had a very bad time in this story. Breakup, kidnapped, guy with second thoughts but too late, and an escape/rescue required. But it was interesting and entertaining to watch it all go down and see if Tara and Griffin get a happy ending.
