Sadie Lockwood thought she had the perfect life. She loved Hunter Reynolds, she was studying to be a doctor, and her entire future was planned out. Everything was going her way.
It all shattered when Hunter's past collided with their future. The one secret he kept from her barreled back into their lives, crushing everything in its path. It shattered all they held dear and it threatened them both in ways they never imagined it would.
Hunter was everything she ever wanted. He told her he couldn't breathe without her. What happens when her very breath is stolen because of that love?
Deborah Bladon had never read a romance hero she didn't like. Her love for romance novels began when she was old enough to board the bus, library card in hand to check out the newest Harlequin paperbacks. She was a Canadian by heart, and by passport, but you could often spot her in New York City sipping a latte and looking for inspiration for her next story. Manhattan was definitely her second home.
She cherished her family and believed that each day was a gift for writing, for reading, and for loving.
Mm yeah .... It Was Good it Was a bit rushed but the ending Was nice ... And Cory is the sweetest thing ... I still had kind of a dificult time conecting with the charaters but overall it Was a fun read , and a Good finish to this story
I have read the full series hoping all the creepiness of Hunter would be explained but sadly not! There are so many questions unanswered - why had Hunter stalked her for six year's, why did her parents warn him off, why was he so involved with corals family, why was he going to marry corals sister who apparently he never slept with, why did he take on a child that was nothing to do with him of anyone really????Too many loose ends and it was an uncomfortable read with all hunters lies and Sadie came across a bit wet just accepting all his lies instead of kicking him to the curb! Sorry but this is Deborah's worst book and I've read them all, so a genuine fan.
I absolutely enjoyed reading this story all the crazy twists, turn’s and tears. Truly another fantastic series. Even had some crazy action with a ninja scene 😂. I can’t wait to read the next series!
First off let me start by saying the Sadie and Hunter story is one of my favorites. I loved the first three books. I was so excited for More Exposed. However once reading it, my thoughts turned to was it needed? The story line was just ok in this book. Nothing crazy. I wish some parts weren't fast forwarded through and that others were instead. How Exposed 3 ended was perfect for me and I could see the epilogue from More Exposed being put there instead. Unlike Jax and Ivy's story, I'm not begging for another installment for Sadie and Hunter. I don't see any issues they could possibly have besides normal marital ones. Plus if another installment was to come out, Deborah might just kill their love story for me. The sex in this book was eh....nothing too hot and heavy. I'm a little disappointed and that's why I gave it three stars. The bar was set high with Still Obsessed and More Exposed couldn't compete. I do know however that Pulse will. That is my favorite series by Deborah and I just can't wait!!!! I have faith Deborah will redeem herself in Pulse 3 and make me forget all about this little unnecessary book. In fact, this book is already very forgettable on its own.
Okaaay this is the first series that I've read by this author. So far I've totally enjoyed it and it deserves the 4 SOLID STARS I gave.
What I didn't expect when looking at the cover image and then reading and excerpt that the story is actually good. I normally just add without thinking that it's going to be good and then once your turning page for page or click for click or swipe for swipe that you realize you cannot stop reading.
At first I thought that Hunter was an ass cause he actually really did come across as one and boy I so wanted to reach in and slap him *smiles shyly*...but otherwise his mysterious and his seriousness just captivated me from the time he BS'd to Sadie about getting a phone number.
All four books is not even over 100 pages which makes it easy reading. Just the cliffy feeling at each end of the book craves for you to continue. I love how they both play around each others feelings and then sometimes Hunter became more of a heachache to me when he was mysterious but overall you have to adore the ending.
Was supposed to read The Obsessed series first then this, oh well at a later date I will.
How do I explain the three stars I gave this book.... I forced the forth star on book 3 with a 3.51 rating that rounded up. But I simply could not in good conscience rate this final installment above 3.
I dud not hate the book... I overall have a piqued interest in Bladon's stories and their characters. But the execution of the ideas (wtf was that??? A plot????) borders on painful.
At the risk of spoiling, I will mention a few relationships that resolved seemingly spontaneously leaving me asking yet again WTF???? Sadie with lying hunter. Sadie and her parents. (Btw is her dad psychic? Where does he get his info from) Sadie and her brother Hunter and Christina Hunter and the Coral crew Peter!!!! Seriously!!???? That was it??
But there were some great bits. I like the passion. They really connect when they make love.... They don't simply fuck. I need that to be able to really enjoy the sexy bits. The proposal was the sweetest thing ever!
So... again. After reading the whole series I write my review. Just like Ivy (Obsessed) and Jessica (Pulse). I felt like slapping Sadie. I mean this girls really need to know when to step up and when to let things go.
The only thing I feel hard to believe are the ages of the characters. I think they should be a but older than what they really are. I mean 26, 27 it's too young for them to be caught up with all there drama. At least Nathan was 30.
Hopefully Alexa doesn't turn out to be a wimp like Sadie, Ivy and Jessica. She demonstrated she was a tough girl on this series and hopefully she turns out to be like that in Vain.
It was a great ending to the series Sadie, Cory, and Hunter as a family is so great. I love how Sadie's mom is trying to mend there relationship by not only accepting of her relationship and getting to know Cory and I loved that. But a secret Hunter was holding almost lost him the love of his life but can she forgive him. They have grown apart in this one and went through a lot with someone trying to ruin their future. It's an amazing story it's a must read but read 1-3 first. Great job Deborah.
4.5 stars. Good conclusion. The last little bit of unknown information is revealed and there's some resolution to Sadie's family dynamics. Hunter is as attentive as ever and will do anything for Cory and Sadie. It's easy to judge Hunter and despise his secrecy but he does what he does for the 2 people he loves and carries the burden on his shoulders. Sometimes I forget that Sadie is only 21 and while she is mature in many ways, she's still young and naive in other ways. Hunter and Sadie were definitely meant to be together, though.
The final installment of Hunter and Sadie. This book was kind of like an extended epilogue to see what happened after they finally ended up together. We also learn more about Cory. Essentially everything is rounded off including Sadie's relationship with her parents. There is a slight plot twist to keep it interesting and personally for me the ending was slightly rushed, I think more could have been done with the development of the Peter story line.
Another good read and a great ending to their story. I give this 3 stars!!!
I don't know if I'm a glutton for punishment or if I just hoped that this would redeem itself and get better. But no. Just no. Between the stupidest plot twists, deplorable characters that deserve all their suffering, and atrocious writing/editing - I think this is my last Deborah Bladon book. I did notice that she maybe hasn't written anything since this came out, so perhaps that's for the best.
I was literally panicking while I read this book. After waiting for it to be released all day yesterday, I must say my nerves was worth it. This book was needed, It gave us an insight to Sadie's and Hunter's new life and ended in such a beautiful way to Sadie's character. Loved it, if your a fan of this series you will love it to. Well done Deborah !!!1
I really enjoyed this ending to Hunter and Sadie's story. I panicked for awhile because I didn't know how things were going to turn out. It got very shaky there for a moment. However, overall I think it was great because it was good to see not only Hunter and Sadie's relationship evolve, but also Sadie's with her own family. This was an intense, but perfect ending for Sadie and Hunter!
Spoilers---- My favorite in the series, the author brings the whole story together perfectly. I love Sadie, I love Hunter, I love Cory, I love them as a couple and a family. Sadie's mom surprised me and it was very touching how they saved Cory. The proposal was awesome... The ending was so satisfying... Love love loved it...
After a hell of a rollercoster ride we reach an end! And what an end!!! Hunter and Sadie are from beginning to end full of heat, passion and love while surviving all the devious secrets and situations that are frustrating and terrible!!! A pure romance with thrilling twists that was a blast to read!!! Two Thumbs Up!!!!!!
I finished this book and loved the easiness of the storyline. The writing was a lot better than some of the previous books and really kept me intrigued throughout the whole of the book. The characters are so captivating and the conflict is so well written within the story. I love the whole book and it adds to the rest of the series.
How much more could poor Sadie's heart take? I felt so much for her from the start of this story and although I really loved Hunter too he was starting to get on my nerves because he kept hiding things from her. Quite the ending and l loved every word of this love story!
Love it. I loved all the pop up surprises and heart pounding twist and and turns but I'm gonna miss them so much! I can say I love her books now that I read these! Looking forward to read her next series of books
This is the worst writing I've ever read. I don't know why I continued to read this terrible, terrible series. Seriously, just terrible. The writing, the plot, the characters- Blech.
The story moves along at a steady pace never leaving you disappointed. I have read the whole series now and will continue to read Deborah's books in the future.
