Despite being raised as an omega her entire life, she has unexplainable alpha and beta attributes that concern her professors and call her designation into question. Something is clearly wrong and she needs answers.
To prove she's an omega and secure her place at the academy, Raeli seeks out a heat specialist but she gets far worse news than she could have imagined.
She isn't an omega at all.
What's worse? No one seems to know what she is.
Now, she has to travel to the top designation research center in the country if she wants answers. But what she finds there is much more than she bargained for.
Female alpha, Amelia Torres, has dedicated her life to designation research, and she's just about seen it all. So when Raeli shows up with baffling test results, it shakes everything she knows about her field.
Not to mention, there's something magnetic about her newest patient that she can't explain. A bone-deep sense of yearning that would typically be reserved for a scent match has the alpha in a chokehold…
But Raeli isn't her match, and making a move could jeopardize the validity of her work and her job at the research center.
Will taking a risk ruin everything? Or will it prove to the world that there is more to designations than meets the eye?
Delta is an FF omegaverse romance standalone in the Honeyverse.
I was hooked just a few pages in with a unique idea in the Omegaverse- what if someone presents with more than one designation?
We see a decent number of omegaverse books with betas becoming omegas, but I don't think I've ever seen one where someone could be undetermined even after a bunch of medical testing. That history surrounds our FMC as she's struggling with her identity and realizing how much of her current life relies on that designation- she stands to lose everything by the time she meets our other FMC, a specialist who is captivated by her and also intrigued by her mysterious condition.
The struggle each woman has with their own demons intertwines well with this whirlwind relationship building between them and this overarching theme of how much is a designation a genetic truth versus a societal expectation?
This is one of my favorite omegaverse books I've read so far- HIGHLY recommended!!
What a great book by new to me authors! This has a more unique take on omegaverse and is sapphic and I’m so glad I found it! Raeli was an omega. All her life she was an omega, or so she thought. After suffering an aggressive rut, that alphas have, she must find answers or lose everything. Ames is a rare female alpha doctor specializing in genetics. Raeli is sent to Ames’ Center to finally get answers. When they meet, it’s intense, palpable. Find out why Raeli isn’t showing a designation, the struggles Ames has gone through being a female alpha and if their connection means they are a match…Recommend!!
I want more sapphic omegaverse! Even though it was FF and not RH like I tend to read, I really enjoyed diving into Raeli & Amelia's story. I found it wonky in some places, racing through some points and making me question why some things happend. All in all, I really appreciated the book and the different aspects of a female alpha with an omega of her own.
I was hooked from the start i couldn’t put it down. If you like Omegavers this if for you. It’s been a while since I read FF and I need more. Raeli has been raised to believe she will be an Omega but she is actually an enigma. Unfortunately she is on the hunt to uncover what her true identity entails. This leads her to meet Ames a determined doctor who is just as eager to unravel the mystery of exactly what Raeli is. 5/5 recommend it
Topical 19 year old teenager. Third act break up. Says says FF but all they did is oral. The alphas ‘knot’ is her muscular arm, what.
They both were literal the same person just in different body’s
This book could’ve been so good with a plot line to figure out what was wrong with her but no, just a teenage girl that needs sexy time. With a lonely adult that said she could help her but she could get fired if anyone found out. But said adult got mad when TEENAGER got upset (because that’s what they do) and leaves and breaks up. This book will be someone’s favorite but it’s not mine
Wow. I mean just wow. I read so many omegaverses, and while I have loved most of the ones that I have read, I have never read one quite like this. The dynamics of an omegaverse don’t really play well to sapphic stories, but this story did such an amazing job of portraying what a sapphic omegaverse looks like. As a queer person, I always love reading queer stories, and with the relative shortage of sapphic stories compared to MM stories, I was so excited to be able to read a FF story in my favorite trope. This book was hot and emotional and I felt so involved with these characters. This story made me felt so warm and fuzzy inside, but also had me fanning myself at times. Besides being a sapphic OV, I loved just how different the story was from almost anything I’ve ever read. I was hooked from the beginning and couldn’t stop reading it until the end.
The one thing about most omegaverses is that there is no question whether a character is the omega the minute that they perfume. The fact that Raeli has been through everything to just find out who she is is heart breaking. She has perfumed, but apparently she needs to fly across country and be tested extensively just in the hopes that she will find out who she is. Her whole life she has been an omega, and even though every test imaginable shows that her results are inconclusive, she feels that she is an omega. But Raeli isn’t the only one battling with her designation. There is no question that Ames is an alpha, but she still feels out of place because there are so few female alphas in the world. Alphas are supposed to be strong and dominant, and even though she constantly works on her strength and body, she will always feel inadequate. Alphas thrive on being in a pack, but she wants to be alone, just her and her possible omega. These two were so perfect and perfect for each other.
I absolutely loved reading this book. I am so glad that the authors decided to write this book. There are not enough sapphic books out there in general, let alone sapphic omegaverses. This book was perfectly spicy and I loved these two characters so much. I would definitely read any book by these authors and will be the first in line to read any FF omegaverse I can find.
First, I want to express how happy I was to see an FF romance, especially OV! Delta by R.K. Pierce and Abby Hunter was a super sweet read that I think is perfect as a palate cleanser especially since it is low angst and as a whole, felt really relaxing to me.
Raeli is an omega (or so she feels) however, she finds herself falling into bouts of alpha rut randomly and despite seeing multiple doctors and undergoing several tests, no one can figure out what is going on with her designation, only that she doesn’t have the omega or alpha gene. Enter Amelia, a designation specialist. Immediately, both Raeli and Amelia are super drawn to each other and feel the intense chemistry they have. The only problems are that they live across the country from each other and Raeli is Amelia’s patient. However, they’ve never been so instantly attracted to anyone and it’s really cute reading through their relationship growth.
I loved that Amelia treated Raeli so carefully and with the respect and devotion she believed any alpha should have for their omega. And I loved that Raeli was never afraid to speak her mind or stand up for herself and fight for what she knew she wanted most.
If you like instalove, an age gap, FF, doctor/patient, some spice, and cozy reads, I think you’ll love Delta!
The only criticism I have is that I wish there was slightly more plot development or that there was just a little bit more to the story. For example, both Raeli’s best friend and Amelia’s sister are important characters and driving forces for Raeli and Amelia’s relationship, as well as important to them, yet there are no scenes written of Raeli introducing her best friend to Amelia or Amelia introducing Raeli to her family. I would have loved to have read that and gotten that full-circle moment. Other than that, I loved it and will reread.
I did receive an ARC but that never gives bias or affects my reviews.
Ohhhhhhhh my God, I can't even begin to express how much I love this book!!! I was sucked in from the very first page. If we're being completely honest, the first paragraph had me realizing just how good this book was going to be. Raeli is one big ball of mystery and she's desperate for answers. Though she was raised with the belief that she's an omega, there are things she should be experiencing but isn't -- and then things she SHOULDN'T be experiencing, but is. All she wants is answers, to know why her own body seems conflicted like this. The fact that she's dealing with something like this is extremely unique and I absolutely love that about this book. She is sent across the country, to a clinic that either needs to help her uncover answers, or she can kiss her time at the academy goodbye! Then we've got Ames, someone who has dedicated her life to understanding everything tied to designations. All the way down to the DNA. She's such a kind and compassion soul, wanting to help everyone that she can. Her twist? She's a female alpha! I LOVED it when their worlds collide at the clinic. And collide, they do! Seeing how they react around each other -- not to mention how hard they both try to resist, though Ames more than Delta ;) -- was a wild ride all on its own. Though my favorite part is where Raeli decides what she wants, she's going to find a way to get. There is plenty of teasing, steam, and moments that had me giggling like a school girl. I could NOT get enough of this book. It even had parts that made me emotional. (No, I am NOT spilling ;) You gotta find out for yourself!) These two are legit one of my FAVORITE couples. I will be getting a paperback ASAP so that I can read it all over again!! R.K., Abigail -- y'all did a fantastic job! This book was the best!!! If y'all are wanting a steamy omegaverse, I BEYOND recommend this beauty!!
Raeli, who has always been raised to believe she will be an Omega, is on the verge of discovering a shocking truth—she is actually an enigma. This revelation sets her on a journey across the country, filled with the promise of uncovering what her true identity entails. Along the way, she will meet Ames, a determined doctor who is just as eager to unravel the mystery of exactly what Raeli is.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book; it's filled with enough spice to keep you warm at night and a storyline that keeps you engaged throughout.
Raeli has always been taught that she’s destined to be an Omega, but she’s on the brink of uncovering a life-changing secret—she's actually an enigma! This revelation kicks off an exciting journey across the country as she seeks to learn more about her true identity. Along the way, she meets Ames, a passionate doctor who's just as curious about the mystery of who Raeli really is.
I absolutely loved this book! It’s got just the right amount of spice to keep things interesting and a storyline that really pulls you in.
Ames, who has faced her share of heartbreak, seems to be on a mission to establish herself as a doctor and researcher. Meanwhile, Raeli knows what she wants but finds herself grappling with her complicated nature.
The writing is fantastic—so descriptive and engaging. It definitely kept me hooked from start to finish!
If you’re a fan of omegaverse, FF, and well-crafted spice that explores intricate relationships, this book is a must-read for you!
Delta is a FF Omegaverse novel in the Honeyverse series co-written by R. K. Pierce and Abby Hunter.
💜 mysterious designation 💜 research center 💜 fated mates 💜 FF 💜 🌶🌶🌶🌶 spice Raeli needs to find out what is going on with her. She’s attending the Omega academy, because she presented as an omega. The problem? She also has some alpha tendencies too. Now the academy is making her go to a clinic to prove she is in fact an omega. The other problem? Well this is not the third clinic she’s sitting in and the doctor is sending her now to a specialty clinic. Will she finally get any answers? Dr Amelia Torres works at a research center helping people who have some issues with their designations. Will she be able to help Raeli figure out what is going on?
This is a fun and sweet omegaverse. I like me how we have a female alpha in this story and get to see how that affected her growing up and in adulthood. Raeli also has her own stigmas that she has had to deal with as well. This story isn’t your typical omegaverse but in the best way. I have liked all of the books that have come out in the Honeyverse universe and I can’t wait to read what other books come out.
Delta is a fantastic, sapphic, omegaverse, spicy romance! The genre isn't one that I have read often because I haven't come across many FF pairings, so when the opportunity came up to read an ARC of Delta, I jumped at it!
Raeli Cole is a student at a college for Omegas, but lately something's been off and she's been exhibiting traits of both Omegas and Alphas. Local doctors are stumped so they send her to a specialist to see if her mysterious symptoms can be explained. Raeli is desperate to solve her issues so she can return to school, her only home since her parents died.
Dr. Amelia (Ames) Torres is at the top of her field of genetics research. She's also an extremely rare female Alpha as well as a lesbian, so she hasn't been lucky in love.
When Raeli comes in for testing, there is instant attraction, which is a little confusing for Raeli as she had never been attracted to a woman before. But Ames’ scent is so alluring, that Raeli is soon head over heals for her.
When the tests reveal Raeli to be a unique fourth designation, a Delta, Ames must choose between priceless scientific insights or claiming Raeli for her own.
The encounters between the two are super spicy and the story is fast paced and compelling. I really enjoyed Delta and I would definitely read more stories set in the Honeyverse!
Despite spending her life as an omega, Raeli has been exuding alpha and beta attributes. To keep her place at the omega academy she must prove her designation. This leads her across the country to Dr. Amelia Torres, a female alpha, and a designation specialist. To Raeli’s shock the tests prove she is neither alpha nor omega, and instead seems to be in her own designation. And on top of that the connection between Raeli and Amelia is intense, almost like that of a scent match. But they aren’t a match and Raeli’s position could change everything in Amelia’s field.
I flew through this book. It was a nice palate cleanser after the last few books I read. I loved the dynamic between Raeli and Ames, it was so sweet. The idea of the fourth designation was a nice addition to an omegaverse setting, especially with the twist of being able to switch. This was my first foray into the honeyverse and I will probably try to check out more when I can.
Rating 4 stars *I received a review copy from the author for my voluntary and honest review
Delta by R.K. Pierce and Abby Hunter is a continuation of the Honeyverse. There is one female alpha and one female Delta. The story ends with an HEA.
Raeli knows she is an omega; she has perfumed and had her first heat. Recently she also had an episode that was more like an Alpha rut than anything omega. She has gone to three different clinics trying to get answers. The final clinic refers her to a specialty clinic in Seattle that takes unique cases. This is where she meets Ameila who feels like she has never fit in as a female alpha. There is an instant attraction between them.
Will they act on this attraction? How could their relationship affect Amelia’s medical career? Can Amelia figure out Raeli’s unique situation?
This was an interesting story that takes us into the world of an individual with a non-standard designation. Go read it now.
I’ve loved this whole series! Delta brings a new, mysterious designation AND a female alpha. I very much enjoyed the fresh outlook on this omegaverse book where we get to see things that aren’t super common in others.
Raeli was a very intriguing character. I really love how the authors wrote this book because I could feel what the characters were feeling. I may not relate to Raeli’s struggles with her identity, but I could feel how she was feeling, and it was quite an interesting time!
The same goes for Ames. I felt like I was really able to get into her head and able to understand the things she felt.
I loved the tension and angst that was present in the book. I’m also really happy that a certain part about 3/4 into the book wasn’t dragged out!
Overall, I’d say 4/5 stars and 3/5 spice. I did receive an advance copy, and this is my honest review.
The fact this book has been written by two authors had me fooled! The writing flows so well that I legitimately thought it was written by one writer! The attention to details and atmosphere is exquisite as well; let’s just say I’m on the hunt for a chocolate and cherry scented items at this point. There’s an amazing balance between the chapters with spice and information on what’s going on with the FMCs Raeil and Dr Ames. Reading a omegaverse that’s FF is a first for me (honestly it’s also the first time I’ve seen an FF omegaverse) and let me just say, I’m hooked and loved the story. The chapters as well had me relating to what the FMC Raeil was feeling and dealing with in a medical sense. Kudos the Abby Hunter and R. K. Pierce on this amazing collaboration!!
I've been looking a FF omegaverse story and this delivered.
I love how the whole thing about not knowing if one of the FMC is omega or alpha really represents identity and how we are all looking to find ourselves and a place in this world. or being looked down upon for being different but being comfortable with it but still trying to show the world that you are who you are and that shouldn't change anything.
Reali and Ame were made for each other, they balance each other well and don't look at the other in any different way.
the spice was spicing, the feelings were feeling and it was just an enjoyable read.
I absolutely loved it!!!!! OH WOW I was hooked in this steamy pages in with a unique idea in the Omegaverse romance. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t even put it down. Outstanding and mind blowing of hot chemistry and physical attraction between them in a tension. Lives were about to change and get crazy in a fun humor moment. Danger , romance, passion, action packed atmosphere. I definitely recommend this book and you won’t be disappointed. I received advance copy of this book via Bookfunnel and am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion. Trina Jones
This one holds a special place. Im a strong, confident woman, and i related a lot with the doctor. But the main fmc struggle and the inner battle or the alpha traits vs. the omega traits, i think it's beautiful. I feel it deeply, having those more dominant traits but also wantedbhead pats and soft things.
This book really hit home on a lot of things, for me.
The character development is there, but this is also a fast-paced novella. We see growth in honesty and overcoming.
Plot is 4 ⭐️ Character is 5 🖤 Spice is 4 🌶
Overall, i absolutely loved this one, we dont see a ton of FF period, let alone OV FF.
This was an interesting ff omegaverse novel. Raeli’s lack of definitively being an omega is causing her lots of problems with the powers that be at her omega academy. When seeking answers, she finds Ames, the doctor assigned to her at the designation center she’s sent to. They aren’t technically matches, but they are drawn to each other like never before. Lots of spice and a little bit of drama before they find their happily ever after.
I received an ARC of this novel in exchange for an honest review.
Finally some good fucking FOOD.
I've been waiting for this novel since it was announced and made multiple prayer circles, sacrificed some goats, and prayed to whatever deities would answer me that I would get to read it. Ever since I read Alpha Daddy, I've been chasing that high, and I have finally found it once again. Delta delivered everything I wanted in an F/F omegaverse (minus one thing, but almost no novels have it, so I would never hold it against these authors). I was so beyond excited when I received the email and read this bad boy in two days' time. I was torn between savoring it and wanting to see how it ended.
Raeli is an absolute sweetheart and Ames is exactly the kind of butch muscle mommy alpha I want to see more in OV novels. Their dynamic was so much fun, the age gap is always a delight, and the sex scenes were to die for. Fisting in replacement of a knot is pretty common in fanfiction spaces so I was totally onboard with that, and holy HELL was the fisting scene hot. Very excellent. Loved it. 5 stars, no notes, I will be purchasing a physical copy since R.K. Pierce is meant to come to an event near where I currently live and I want to beg her to sign it in person.
I loved this story ofcourse because I love anything R.K.Pierce writes. But it's also nice to read some f/f for a change and I haven't read any in a while. A contemporary omega verse, Delta is about Raeli who doesn't know what's going on and why she is going through confusing symptoms of both being an Alpha and an Omega, when all her life she's thought she was an Omega. She meets Dr Amelia Torres and sparks fly as Amelia tries to help her figure things out.
I was so excited to recieve this arc!! It was such a good book. It was the first full length omegaverse that I read that was strictly ff. I loved it! I liked the discovery of a new designation and not just having other designations. It was really interesting to see the conflicting aspects of an Omega and an alpha fighting against each other inside raeli. Please read it!
This book is unique and captivating. I loved seeing a different idea with the omegaverse. The two main characters are relatable. Their relationship was up and down, steamy, and comforting. This book kept me up reading so I could find out what was next. I would recommend the honeyverse series to anyone who enjoys the omegaverse world. This is my favorite yet in this series.
OMG I really enjoy this FF omegaverse book it is full of sweet goodness sexy times and I really enjoyed the story plot between the main characters and how each character interact with each other and from the beginning of the first page I was suck into the story and I just wanted more of these two women mates I loved it can't wait to read the next book by this talented author highly recommend
This was a very spicy book. I really liked the age gap, doctor patient storyline. What I didn’t like is the fact that the genetic delta aspect of the book was just dropped and then the author focused 100% on their relationship. I wanted to know more about the medical part. Other than that I really liked the story.
Yes yes yes! Give me all the FF omegaverse books! I LOVED this book and seeing omegaverse tropes in a sapphic relationship. This was such a unique take and I loved the incorporation of designation research and changes. Absolutely a must read for omegaverse lovers and sapphic romance lovers alike!
This book had me hooked from the beginning! Loved Raeli and can't get over how perfect Ames was for her. It was so sweet how they really needed to heal each other. Great book that I can't recommend enough.
