side story 3 ruined my whole day, but then I got to see Beom with a mullet and man bun and Geum-hoo in lingerie, so everything turned out great!

Guys this Manhwa had be CRYINGGGGG at the end of it. These two LOVE each other so much omg.

Okay so this series about a noble with a kind of scary reputation. He needs a butcher to help get animal blood to help his sick brother. He finds a nameless man with the eyes of a tiger, and names him “Boem” which means spring… and omg

I thought this was going to be one of those toxic relationships, it kind of seems like it at first, but NO. Both Boem and Geum Hoo love each other soooo much and it’s soooooo cute!
It’s also MAD SPICY, but like… the smut is so tender. They’re just so sweet and perfect for each other.

Geum Hoo is ready to risk it all for a commoner, and Boem will do anything as long as he can stay by his master’s side.

The plot? Honestly not really much but enough that I was interested. The main draw for me was the two MCs and how much they loved each other and would literally do anything for each other.

I gotta read more manhwa after this for sure 😭❤️❤️❤️

I AM IN LITERAL TEARS AT HOW BEAUTIFUL THIS STORY WAS. I can only but dream to have a love as devoted, true, and wholesome as theirs. I wish I could just memory-wipe myself from this manhwa so I can experience it all over again for the first time.

El final me ha gustado más, incluso se me ha hecho muchísimo más tierno. Sí que es verdad que, durante todo el recorrido, no tenía muy claro de qué iba más allá de la pasión, así que iba pasando capítulos sin más. Pero en este último tramo sí que he visto ese amor que perdura incluso más allá de una vida, y eso me ha llegado mucho más.

⭐4.5 (rounded down) - really liked it

The past few days I have been starting and dnf-ing so many manwha/manga/comic series that I began to annoy myself. This one I also started on a whim.

Very surprising to have finished this so fast though! I did not realise it was only 5 volumes. Funny to see the physical version is available in German. Glad that someone added it to here because I am too lazy to request it.

The first 'ending' (the official one) really made me cry. Very beautiful but heartbreaking. Some reviews I read were mad that there was überhaupt a sidestory. Which I totally get. It is the kind of tragic ending that feels realistic but very fitting.

For me I loved that there was more story because although I loved the first ending, I need that happy happy joy joy ending.

As a whole though, I could not tell you why this series worked so well for me. The characters are obsessed with each other and apparently that was enough for me. Would have like to know more about the side-character but they truly were only there to advance the main characters story.

I started this because I kept seeing people talk about how good it was and I wanted to understand the hype but I really didn’t. I almost never DNF, so the fact that I stopped around chapter 28 (about 35%) says a lot for me.

The story made me deeply uncomfortable. It revolves around a powerful, lighter-skinned man who takes in a darker-skinned man as a slave. He lets him sleep with other men and also sleeps with him himself. Their entire relationship feels built on smut, smut and more smut, with very little emotional depth or real development.

The slave is completely obsessed with him, and while the obsession does seem mutual, the dynamic still felt unhealthy and uncomfortable to me. As for the plot… I honestly kept wondering what the actual plot was. I do know how it ends and the ending sounds more interesting plot-wise, but I just couldn’t get myself to continue reading to get there.

Definitely not for me. If others enjoy it, that’s fine but it wasn’t something I could connect with at all.

This entire manhwa is a 5/5 for me. It’s one of the most beautiful, compelling, sad, and well written stories I’ve ever read.

The art is impeccable, and I feel I could read this many times over and never tire of it.

There is only one other manhwa that has actively made me cry, and this is the second one to do that. I feel a strong connection between Geum-hoo and Beom. I haven’t run into a manhwa (yet) where the love and devotion is so consuming.

Ive not read many stories like this one. Needless to say I’ll be reading every BWAT story I can get my hands on.

The side story absolutely broke me but the ending was happy so the sadness and tears were worth it. I also got to see Geum-hoo in lingerie and Beom in a man bun. That definitely made my day hehe.

don’t get me started on this lovely manhwa. I wished I picked this up sooner oh my goodness how amazing this was. I’m not gonna lie to you I’ve cried MANY TIMES. It has such a good story, so emotional, absolutely beautiful and so poetic, funny, and so, so adorable. It moved me and i can never forget their story. I can feel the yearning and longing from them and it fills my heart entirely but also breaks it at the same time. I love Beom so much it’s unexplainable and the relationship he has with his lord It’s one of the best manhwa’s I’ve read this year. Beom will always be lord Ahn’s spring no matter what. Many flowers will bloom, there is never an end to them. Ah I read too many angst I’ve got to stop..

Die zweite Reihe, die ich von Brothers without a tomorrow gelesen habe und auch für diese habe ich nichts als Liebe übrig.

Der Abschlussband hat noch einmal richtig am Herz gezerrt, weil er so schmerzhaft sowie gleichzeitig wunderschön und warm war.

Das Ende hätte gerne noch etwas länger andauern können, aber an seinem jetzigen Tempo lässt sich nichts aussetzen.

Ich liebe die Story, den Artstyle, die Protagonisten und einige der Side Charaktere. Definitiv eine Empfehlung Wert! Hoffentlich bringt CLines noch weitere Reihen von Brothers without a tomorrow nach Deutschland.

I have to say I was not a fan after reading this series, i had high hopes especially after reading Capri, but this was just smut and a master selling his so called lover. This screamed toxic lust not love at all, even the end was bad. I ended up skipping pages because it just made no sense after a time and took so long in the story that just got repeated. Sadly i didn't even see the character's being likeable and lack of chemistry, i don't see how this got so called good reviews. Capri will always be the best story they did. All this shows it toxic so called love that is not love its lust.

Pleasantly surprised by how GOOD this was. I really thought it would be like Painter of the Night or some other toxic nonsense. But... Hidden gem in BL manhwa! It looked at several awful BL tropes and said "no thank you", delivering to us, instead, a refreshingly green flag pairing. The time skip was unexpected, but still worked within the story's universe. And some explicit discussion of marriage equality? Nice touch.
