To be the light in the dark, it's going to get violent.
The sixth gripping novel in the international bestselling Tom Walker mystery thriller series is coming this November!
A prominent family's beloved daughter has been kidnapped. The family is very public so they are doing everything they can to keep it private. They also have some secrets of their own. The problem is, they can't find anyone skilled enough to take on a coordinated criminal network.
Tom Walker has experience with ruthless characters. But he's never seen anything like this.
I really enjoyed the other books but this one seems like it was rushed just to put out another book. It ended without any real climax and on the Kindle version there were a ton of typographical errors. very disappointed.
Not only is this shallow, but Tom is convinced (rather easily) by FBI agent girlfriend Taylor to help her college roommate with a serious family problem, her niece was kidnapped. No sooner, do they get there Taylor convinces Walker to help and they are ambushed their first night in town.
It's fast paced but lacking a good storyline and Taylor seems so gullible for an FBI Agent while Walker just gives in to her. It wasn't/isn't a favorite and I'm done with the Taylor portion of the storyline-just too implausible for a smart assassin!
I have read all of the Tom Walker books in order and I have enjoyed every one of them. As usual, a good background story and lots of action. The next book, Blood Money will be published soon and it will be straight on my list to read. Another well deserved 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I just flew thru this book. Non stop action to follow on every page. I know its prob unrealistic all the things Walker does, who am I to judge. Its a fast paced.book with good characters and I look forward to the next one. I'm glad Walker fell for someone. What a pair!
The Tom Walker series has been a favorite since Mr. Wright introduced him. This book seems rushed. Like it wasn't quite ready to be published but he had a deadline and just went without proofing. Still loving Tom Walker and crossing fingers that book 7 is back on track.
My favorite author. Bradley Wright is not above taking a risk with different genres. He is a true master. I highly recommend anyone interested to give this author a try. I would suggest that you start with Whiskey and Roses. Buckle up and enjoy the ride, you won’t regret it.
And so does Bradley Wright. This Tom Walker series is, I think, my new fav amongst the Wright books. Great plot, pace, characters, and appropriate level of violence 😎 Just preordered the next book 👍
This book moves so fast that it was both thrilling and frustrating. Thrilling because come on, it's Tom Walker. Dude's a legit badass and I love when he struts his stuff. There's not an ounce of boredom that came outta me while I read this thing. But yet, it's also frustrating BECAUSE of how short it is. It feels like it's in one big rush to get to the end that nothing that occurs feels significant. Essentially, this feels like filler, which is probably what it is.
I guess the only question now is whether or not the frustrations outweighed the thrills. Fortunately, not really. I may not have felt compelled to grant a perfect rating, but it didn't feel right rating this too lowly either. Because, as I said, I did have fun with it. If all it's meant to be is a filler, so be it. It's not like I'm opposed to appetizers prior to the main course, after all. If it keeps me from starving for more Tom Walker, then I'll gladly take it.
