Be still my heart, the swoon is REAL with this volume!!

Seriously, this series just shows that you don't have to have a time skip when the leads move in and live together because I am LOVING it!! The awkward moments of first moving in and living together were SO relatable! I especially loved it when Yuki said, "I think I'm going to die a few more times before this is done…" LOL!! Poor Yuki, but I'm SO excited for her and Itsuomi living together and thought it was so touching how they made their own sign!! They are so deeply in love and hope they continue to always have this open communication they have always shown, but especially in this volume!

However, in the last volume, it was revealed that Itsuomi is keeping a secret from Yuki, but I think based on how things ended, everything is going to come to light in the next volume? I confess I'm slightly nervous. Not because I think it will hurt their relationship, but because Itsuomi is so free-spirited, and seeing him not be is…concerning. I mean we see him get bummed that Oushi doesn't view him as a friend because he is just so chill and laid back even about things some guy likes his girlfriend! LOL!

Speaking of, I am LOVING the growth that is happening in the side characters! Oushi and Shin hitting it off was not something I knew I needed until I saw it, but I'm totally here for it! LOL! Also seeing Emma and Shin…SQUEALS! So so so good!

Definitely another very wonderful and fantastic volume (which I read twice LOL)! I'm hoping volume eleven doesn't take TOO long to release because I desperately need it!

and with that ending?? wtf????? i'm kinda scared. it feels like we're going to finally find out the "secret" itsuomi has been hiding and THE NEIGHBOUR??? what was up with those looks he was giving yuki 😤 i swear he better not cause trouble since we are still dealing with oushi. i loved how itsuomi intervened in that scene though. like YES show that neighbour that yuki is his!!!!!

anyway, they are still cute and precious as ever.

I LOVE what Shin said to Oushi at the end of this volume. Rejection SUCKS but Yuki is your friend! You can’t tell me you’ve been friends since childhood just to get a chance to be with her romantically?! Of course not. Take some time apart but come back and be a good friend! I know he can do it! Oh and pleaseee don’t change Oushi’s look!!!! I don’t like Shin’s style on him. Lol. I prefer his usual look…

Trigger Warnings:FMC hasn’t been able to hear since she was born

Damn I am so sad I am just about caught up but I am glad I picked this manga series up. Imma copy and paste the stuff I said in my other review so I can get to spoilers: Our FMC is deaf, I’m not sure if it is a trigger but I have added it just in case. The authors seem to have put a lot of research and the sign language is in Japanese. They have a whole process of how they figure out the sign language aspect of the manga which I found fascinating. The anime did a good job animating the sign language. Especially the different tones of sign language, some being soft and graceful while others are harsh and straightforward. I LOVE our FMC Yuki, she knows what she wants and goes for it. And Itsuomi our MMC has so much rizz, the guy is so handsome and dreamy. Some people have mixed thoughts on his actions but I personally think this guy is a walking green flag. They both communicate so there is drama but not as much as other mangas, this is more cute. Please do yourself a favour and watch the anime. Then come back and read the manga so we can fangirl together.


Yuki runs into Itsuomi in the subway and after a helpful interaction, she can’t get him off her mind. When she realizes the guy is someone in her friend’s class, she gets to know him.

Now for spoilers


It was so random, we start off with Itsu and Yuki sitting in a bathtub with their clothes. They just moved in with the help of Rin and Kyo. Once Kyo and Rin left, they do a tour of their own place. Yuki tells Itsu she wants to add some things near the doorbell with lights so that she knows when someone is ringing the doorbell or using the intercom. When they get to the bathroom, Itsu sits inside and says he can barely fit his legs. Then he calls Yuki over and gets her into the tub. Yuki is confused as to how she ended up there while Itsu is so nonchalant. He starts rubbing her hair and says he is washing her hair, he is so cute and random. Yuki starts doing it back to him and wonders if this is what they will be doing now that they live together. Yuki turns to Itsu and I like how you can see she is comfortable being touchy with him now. She leans in for a kiss but notices that Itsu keeps his eye open and covers his face since she is flustered. Itsu says that Yuki is so pretty he doesn’t wanna close his eyes and miss her face, SWWWOOOON. They unpack and Yuki has a disposable camera so she shows Itsu. They take a selfie together, she plans to take pictures for memories. She has a coin jar to save up for trips and she wants to support Itsu for when he needs to leave Japan. They plan to add a microwave and talk about different things to do to improve their apartment. Itsu says that they should get something for their neighbours, I think it’s a thing they do in Japan when they move to a new place. Get a gift for the neighbours and introduce yourselves. They go out to buy groceries and while taking her wallet out, Yuki finds the coupon thing that Oushi gave her awhile back.


Yuki hasn’t seen Oushi in a while anywhere. Itsu sees the coupon voucher and asks what it is, and Yuki panics since Oushi said not to give it to him. She tells Itsu that Oushi got it for her. Itsu asks if he can have it and it is a barbecue voucher for a restaurant. Itsu realizes that Oushi told her not to give it to him and asks Yuki to confirm. He says that he hasn’t seen Oushi in a while and wonders if Oushi works at the restaurant. Itsu has texted and called Oushi but has been ignored. Itsu says he wants to tell Oushi to give up on Yuki since he knows he will keep Yuki happy. Yuki wonders if he has someone else now and Itsu says he doesn’t want to see Oushi cry. Itsu says that he is friends with Oushi while Yuki knows that Itsu is probably the only one that feels that way. Itsu says that Oushi s a good guy and he thinks it would have been fun to have a younger brother like him. Itsu promises not to do anything bad with the voucher and Yuki trusts him, so she lets him have it. While they head home, Yuki doesn’t notice their neighbour and goes inside while Itsu says hi to him. When he comes in, he tells Yuki they passed their neighbour and he is handsome. Yuki says Itsu is the handsomest of them all. Itsu tells Yuki that he is going to sleep on the sofa but once they put their place together, they can share a bed.


We cut to seeing Oushi working at a barbecue restaurant and Itsu shows up. Itsu says that he hasn’t seen Oushi in a while so he came to visit. Oushi is pissed to see him there. Oushi gives him his noodle order and Itsu eats while minding his own business. All of Oushi’s coworkers are fangirling over Itsu when Shin shows up and they do the same to him. Shin gets a text from Emma. Itsu asks if the message was from Emma since Shin was blushing. We cut to Emma and Shin, she is trying to ask him out with the thought of marriage in mind but she keeps stuttering. She calls Shin beautiful while he thinks the same of her. They sit together outside and Emma wonders what their relationship is. She does see him as more than a friend but they don’t have a label. She gets the guts to ask Shin for a kiss and when he comes close, she can see he is blushing. He thought wearing sunglasses would cover it but it doesn’t and they kiss. Shin thinks about kissing many women but Emma is the first one he’s kissed to make her fall for him. She wants him to make her heart race. Shin tells Itsu he doesn’t want to talk about Emma just yet. Itsu turns to Oushi and uses sign language to place an order for Shin while Oushi tells Itsu not to use sign language on him. Shin gives Itsu a hair tie for his bangs and says he will dye his hair again but to not go black since it reminds him of high school. He doesn’t want Itsu around Emma with his high school hair, I guess cuz Emma fell for Itsu when he looked that way. It doesn’t really matter cuz Emma liked how he looked like regardless but whateva, I miss the silver hair too. When Oushi is done his shift, he finds Itsu and Shin waiting outside for him. Itsu gives him the voucher back to him. Itsu tells Oushi to give it to someone else, like a friend or something. Oushi gets the message but Itsu wasn’t rude about it. He tries to talk to Oushi while acting buddy-buddy while Oushi tells him to get lost. Itsu says he hasn’t seen Oushi smile and Oushi says he does with friends but he won’t around Itsu since they aren’t friends. Itsu says they are friends but Oushi says they are enemies. Itsu says they are just rivals that love the same person.


Itsu puts an arm around Oushi and says to just drop by now and then so he knows that he is alive. Shin takes over the conversation and says that he felt the same way about Itsu. Itsu couldn’t leave Oushi alone just like he couldn’t leave Shin alone. Shin starts talking to Oushi while ignoring Itsu and it was funny but I also felt bad for Itsu. He’s just there watching them hoping to be included. Shin asks Oushi if he feels like he is being taken seriously by Itsu when Itsu won’t leave him alone. Shin says that it pisses him off and he could never see Itsu as a rival and sometimes he wants to become him, since he knows he can’t beat him. Oushi asks for his name and Shin says that Itsu acts cool and confident while Oushi says it makes sense since he grew up overseas. They have a conversation like Itsu wasn’t standing right there watching them. They talk about ladies loving Itsu and how he is an open book. Shin asks to borrow Oushi and Oushi says not to ask Itsu since he isn’t his keeper. Poor Itsu looks sad and left out and they both walk away without him. My guy was dumped, seeing Itsu alone on the street made me wanna hug him. Where’s Yuki when you need her lol.


Yuki texts Itsu pictures of herself organizing the kitchen which makes him smile. Itsu wanted to tell Oushi he moved in with Yuki but thinks that he will find out eventually. Then some random guy named Tasuku messages Itsu saying he hasn’t seen Itsu in awhile, asking if he has been travelling. Itsu knows he has to tell Yuki what happened soon, LIKE WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO TELL HER BRO? I swear the suspense is killing me. Tasuku asks if Itsu has been in touch with Kousei, whoever that is. Bruh I swear he better not be hiding something big. Like if it is something travel related or something, he needs to tell Yuki so that she has time to make up her mind. Then again, I think Yuki’s dad knows something and he was chill about Itsu taking his time to tell Yuki so maybe I shouldn’t be too concerned. BUT WHY IS HE MAKING IT A BIG DEAL? I need to know NOW, ugh I hate not knowing. Anyway, Yuki spent the day cleaning the whole apartment. It felt like she felt pressure to please Itsu since they live together. When Itsu comes home, he rings the doorbell and Yuki sees the light flash. She was happy to open the door for him, saying she knew it was him. Itsu asks if there is a sign for saying that they are home. It’s something they do in Japan, a greeting when they come home and when they leave I think they say something too. Yuki says there isn’t one but shows him an example of what another couple does. Itsu says he wants his own sign with Yuki so they make one, it’s so fucking cute. He always finds a way to make something special for just the two of them.


Itsu says Yuki did a good job cleaning and Yuki says she can run a bath for him. I love that Itsu told her to slow down and sat down on the couch with her. He says he is sorry she did this while he was gone and tells her that she isn’t his maid. He says that he will help with the housework too. I love how he noticed Yuki was tryna do everything and made sure to let her know they are part of a team. Yuki can tell that Itsu seems sad and touches his shoulders and Itsu is confused. He kisses her and tells her that he went to see Oushi where he works. He says Oushi called him an enemy. Itsu is down since Oushi hasn’t warmed up to him meanwhile Yuki is shocked that Itsu can’t read that Oushi doesn’t like him. He puts his head on the couch and Yuki finds him adorable. I love that Yuki can tell when he is down too, they read each other so well now. She rubs his hair and he says that he thinks that Oushi is avoiding him for when Yuki stops liking him. Yuki says she wants to always get along and Itsu hugs her and seems to cheer up. Itsu says he is going to wash up and asks Yuki if she wants to join and she pushes him to the washroom. He laughs but while he is inside, Yuki realized he doesn’t have towels. So she stands outside wondering when to open the door, thinking that if she could hear, she would know if he is done or not. Itsu opens the door naked and Yuki panics but he takes a towel. She runs away but falls and Itsu asks if she is okay while he has a towel on. Yuki is flustered and says she is sorry for seeing him naked and Itsu says it isn’t a big deal since she is his girlfriend. He finds the whole thing amusing while Yuki is freaking out.


Then Itsu hears a loud noise and tells Yuki he thinks it is their neighbour. He puts on some clothes and walks first, putting Yuki behind him. They find their neighbour bleeding from the head on the ground. Yuki freaks out while the neighbour says to call an ambulance. Itsu touches his head while Yuki gets paper towel. She wipes the neighbour’s head but she can’t read Itsu and the neighbour’s lips, she is confused as to what is going on. Yuki gets her phone out to show him his face using the camera since she didn’t have a mirror. The guy reaches out to Yuki and Itsu puts an arm to stop it and takes over. I really like how protective he is of Yuki, he isn’t possessive in a red flag way (not gonna lie I wouldn’t mind if he was cuz I love the guy regardless). Itsu is chill but he is cautious and puts Yuki’s safety first. Yuki can’t hear the interaction but she wonders if Itsu doesn’t want him to know she can’t hear just yet. So Yuki goes with the flow. They don’t know this person and if he could be dangerous. If he finds out Yuki is deaf and he is a dangerous person, who knows what could happen. Itsu holds Yuki’s hand and they go downstairs. Itsu finally uses his phone to show Yuki a message saying that the neighbour’s brother lives nearby so they can take the neighbour to the doctor. He apologizes to Yuki for keeping her from using sign language. Yuki says no worries but she was having a hard time following what happened. Itsu says that the neighbour talked a lot about himself and he will fill Yuki in once they are home. But while they talk, the neighbour’s brother shows up and it is the guy messaging Itsu, Tasuku. Tasuku runs to Itsu and hugs him, calling him by his first name Nagi. Tasuku says the neighbour is his brother and Itsu tells Yuki that they are backpack buddies. Tasuku is just as needy as Itsu, he hugs him and says he missed him. He says that he looks up to Itsu the most and that they are the same age. Yuki is easily able to read his lips but she thinks about how crazy their neighbourhood is, they’ve only been living there for 5 days.


Meanwhile Shin is styling Oushi and his outfit looked like something Itsu would wear. Sorry but the outfit and hair did not suit Oushi imo. Shin says that Oushi can stop by for a haircut and says that even though Itsu can be annoying, he loves him dearly. He says that he used to be lonely at school and Itsu moved there. Everyone became friends with Itsu and while he went to the rooftop, he would run into Itsu. Itsu was eating a fish cake from Shin’s parents’ store and Shin thought he was a weirdo. While Shin was sitting in class, Itsu approached him and randomly asked what he plans to be when he grows up. Shin says a hairdresser and Itsu says Shin can use him as a guinea pig. Shin asked what would happen if he used clippers and Itsu said that he would just have a buzz cut and gave him the biggest smile, it was so cute. That’s how they became close and they have been since then. Shin asks Oushi if he has talked to Yuki about his true feelings for her. Or if Oushi has been avoiding Yuki. Shin says that if Oushi is avoiding Yuki, that it is a rude thing to do. Oushi thinks back to how he told Yuki he wanted to be nice and honest with her. He tells Shin he is right, he gets the message and the volume ends. I need to know what the deal is with this Tasuku guy. I wanna know why his brother hit his head, probably tripped? What did the guy do to make Itsu cautious and make Yuki avoid exposing that she is deaf? What did he and Itsu talk about? I need to know what Itsu has been tryna tell Yuki but hasn’t yet, I think it’s related to this Tasuku guy. I NEED ANSWERS GUYS. I’m almost caught up so I might not get any soon sadly but LOVE ITSU AND YUKI.

These two have such a good relationship with ample communication.

We also get Itsuomi’s motivation for traveling, and why Oushi was first drawn to Yuki. The characters are slowly becoming more rounded and human. It’s an exciting journey to read!

You can really see the growth from the author in the artwork. The shoujo is shoujoing. The lines are sleeker, the scenes lovelier, and the characters are more beautiful.

Ils sont mimi, ils sont cute mais franchement niais. Le gros plus c’est qu’on en apprend beaucoup sur la surdité, sur la relation entendant/sourd. J’aime trop quand ils parlent en langue des signes, je trouve ça très bien retranscrit en dessin ce qui n’est pas facile ! Mais bon il se passe pas grand chose à part les regarder avancer dans leur vie commune.

I'm rationally upset that this was too short. Basically nothing happens except for a quick update that they've moved in together.

We do get to see a naked (censored) Itsuomi though lmao.

RECAP: They've officially moved in, Itsuomi talks to their new neighbor and then meets up with his bestie at Oushi's store. An update with Emma. Ends with Itsuomi meeting a backpacking friend who is actually new neighbor's brother.

So yeah. Too quick and nothing happened lol.

Me prometí que volvería a reseñar todos los mangas que he leído, pero como siempre, estos volúmenes se devoran por sí mismos, y siendo honestos, no hay mucho qué decir.

Yuuki e Itsuomi ya por fin viven juntos y vemos cómo se han ido adaptando el uno con el otro. Aún ahora me sorprende que, sin conocerse de mucho tiempo, tomaron una decisión que literalmente te cambia la vida, pero supongo que es así porque en Japón es muy normal que los jóvenes a partir de 18 años se muden de sus casas.

Los dos son muy bonitos juntos y me da gusto que el “rival en el amor” de Itsuomi –aka, el amigo de Yuuki- ahora es amigo de su estilista, lol. Los dos se cayeron bien porque le empezaron a tirar carrilla a Itsuomi.

Sin duda, este es uno de esos mangas que más bien son el desempance de algo más pesado.

Mi piace moltissimo lui, ma a volte lo trovo esagerato. Cioè, può esistere davvero uno così? Pare quasi privo di malizia, gelosia, invidia... Troppo controllato. Lei, invece, è teneramente ingenua che sconfina nell'esagerato, a volte. Ciò nonostante, la storia continua a piacermi. Sono curiosa di conoscere questi segreti di Itsu e i nuovi personaggi (P.S. Continua a non importarmi niente di Emma, quando c'è lei skippo ^^')
