Now this was an issue to rival the first. Wowza. So much shit went down; where to start? I love the virtual reality game-simulator-thing. Those panels had some serious beauty going on in the artwork. And it was the first glance we got at the team of bastards working together. It was rather amusing. They already seem like a family.

I love that Leo is an asthmatic. I think that is hilarious. A total "failing point" to give to the otherwise perfect specimen. Haha. He is so tied to his mother though ... I guess that's a major flaw. I mean, I love my mother an all ... but this is too much.

Fuckin' jerkoff-bad-dude Dannikor (is that how you spell it?), he is way too good at being the bad guy. I still think he might not be the one who took their mothers. We haven't seen them, and it was the Olympus heads that stressed the point about Dannikor's kidnapping them. Then again, I might be chewing on whipped cream here.

In the end, they escape Dannikor's trap--barely. He knew they were coming ... which means there is a traitor amongst them. Candidates? Well, I don't think it's any of the boys, nor is it "Sally" (I don't think). If anyone of the children, I would think it was the assistant that has been working for them for years. I think it COULD turn out that she's been working for Dannikor all along. Maybe she has a long held grudge against her father, and she helped bring about his death. Now she was finishing the job by bringing down the organization he worked for. Just a theory.

I can't think it's the military dude. Heatherpence ... no way. Why?! I can't believe that. Then again, it could be the top guy at Olympus himself. It wouldn't be the first time in the history of a mystery that the villain tries to hide his crime by bringing the knowledge of it to light, and spreading doubt amongst the others in the group. Yeah, I could see it being him. I'll kinda be upset if it turns out to be someone we haven't met yet. I find those kind of turns aggravating. Why make me wonder if you haven't given us a reason to, ya know? I know I'll have to wait until Friday to get my mitts on the next issue and (potentially) find out.

Another great addition to the series, this time the team head out for their first legit mission. But not all ends well. More great humour and some superb artwork. Some wonderfully dark gore included too this time. Superb read.
