Five stars for being extremely thorough, and despite the slightly cheesy last 5% about success and empowerment.

Meir Barak is very generous and open in teaching students and readers about how day trading works, which is truly admirable, and quite unique. From what I can judge, having a decade of experience in trading myself, he is the real deal. There are lots of valuable insights here, and great practical advice. Covers everything form screen setup to psychology.

I couldn't help getting slightly annoyed by the more theoretical parts however. There are often explanations for market phenomena that are just outrageous, conspiratorial and worst, completely unsubstantiated. Maybe all his explanations are correct, but it would seem incredible to me. Having a background myself in different trading strategies (though not day trading), I can say that: Some of his writing on the actions and reasoning of other market participants is just plain wrong.

Anyway, results speak for themselves, and Barak really seems to have found some things that work. Whatever the reason is for that, maybe we shouldn't be concerned about. If the conclusions are correct, then what are we really arguing about after all? Also, I have found that most successful traders have a quite conical view of the market, and Barak would certainly not be an exception in this regard.

The Stock Market: The Market Whisperer - A New Approach to Stock Trading: The Guide to Success and Economic Empowerment by Meir Barak has much to offer those interested in stock trading. Meir Barak gives some biographical history of himself so you can see who he is. He deals with day trading. There is a lot of information but the most helpful for people not involved much is 'psychology' of the market and how it is used. The most important part of the book is about the psychology of trading - how to overcome mental obstacles, stick with it and succeed. this book may take several readings to understand the information and to be able to use it.

Gives an advantageous insight of the stock market's idiosyncrasies; enriches your mind with techniques on how to approach the market. I myself have used some of these techniques and have become successful with quite a few trades. The onus is up to you to remain consistent.

There's contradiction between some of the sentences.
There's topics which are unrelated to day trading.
There's a bit too much of advertising to his room and courses.
Other aspects are very good

Stock trading

Interesting the way it breaks down trading versus investing and how the economics theories don’t translate to the real world. A solid approach to learning how to day trade, whether it actually turns you into a trader remains to be seen
