Reading Book The Archmage Book Dual Wield Book Trinity Mage
Wow! Reading this book felt like coming home. These characters and this world are just the biggest comfort and I loved being back with them.
This book full on made me laugh out loud, smile like an idiot and continually gasp in sock! Emily has hit it out the park with Trinity Mage and I loved every second reading it.
I adore Emily’s writing. It’s so easy to read and instantly pulls you in. The way she has weaved in different POVs and added in glimpses of the past in Trinity Mage is so well done. I couldn’t put this book down!
The Mages of Might world is just so magical. I really enjoyed exploring more of Teitara, Emily creates such a vivid picture of an enchanting world filled with both light and dark elements. I enjoyed meeting so many amazing new characters in this one. Mack is a great addition to the team and I adored her family dynamic. I also really enjoyed learning more about the black mages, meeting Ming and Amah was really interesting and I hope we learn more about them in the next one.
The magic system in this series has always been one of my absolute favourites so to add in more on summoners and learn their magic while Tsillah continued to develop her fire and illusions was so engaging to read about.
The slow burn finally burned!!! I just love Tsillah and Caius. Their relationship is so sweet and it was so good to finally see them together, definitely worth the wait. Their stollen moments together were so captivating and had me grinning like crazy. All the characters really changed and grew throughout this book, I loved getting to see more of how Caius was dealing with everything and the different sides of him, his super protective defender side and his mushy/devilishly flirty side that Tsillah brings out in him. I felt Tsillah’s struggles with the new combative role she was taking in made her so relatable. She is such a badass FMC but i was surprised she started to take on a more supportive role rather than being in the thick of the action toward the end of the book. Ermir’s character really took on a darker side in this one. Emily did a great job of showing how his insecurities started to twist his character.
And that ending! I can’t. Emily I hope you enjoy the release of this book and take time to celebrate.. but please… I need book 4.. asap.. please 🙏🏼 😂
Wow wow wow. I will scream from the rooftops that all fantasy lovers need to read the Mages of Might series.
I am utterly obsessed and am reeling over that ending. I’ve been waiting for this book to come out for a while, and boy oh boy did it NOT disappoint.
If you don’t know this series I HIGHLY recommend you get in on it because it’s one of the coolest most unique concepts I’ve ever read.
There are 3 types of magics (we know of) - elementalists, illusionists, and summoners. Each type requires to complete the journey from apprentice to master/crowned mage.
There is nothing like this book in other fantasy plots I’ve read. It feels so immersive I can picture everything so easily as I’m reading and I think that is a testament to the writing.
Firstly - the amount of TENSION that was created between Tsillah and Caius in the first two books of the is actually insane, and seeing them finally admit their true feelings in this book to each other was absolute perfection. The emotional depth and care these two have for each other is palpable in just the glances they give each other.
Not only the characters themselves, but the world building and plot is only getting MORE interesting as new mages get introduced. Not only do we learn more of Caius past, but we get a bit more insight into the High Magus as well as what’s going on with the Black mages.
Can we talk about Ermir!!! You could feel his fears spiraling, and I was screaming at the book for them to just finally TALK to each other - omg it was so frustrating but that final end scene just took the cake.
Rani 😢
Soren - you suck.
I really liked the introduction of Brexx’s character and want to see where that goes.
Immediately need the next book. Please and thanks.
Trinity Mage hooked me with the pining and yearning, but it was Tsillah who truly stole the show. She's an incredible character. She is strong, fierce, and relentlessly driven but also has a soft side and gentle nature at her core. It's very well done.. I loved watching her grow and get things done without backing down, even when the odds were stacked against her. She's the kind of protagonist who you hope to be one day.
The rest of the cast is compelling too, with enough depth and tension between them to keep things interesting. But for me, Tsillah is the standout. I’m desperately hoping she’s the one who finally takes down the High Magus. If anyone can do it, it’s her.
I really enjoyed this one & that ending…… The growth all these characters have in this book from the emotions/romance/heartbreak/leadership is chefs kiss 😘 The fact that we are seeing the steps of them growing and becoming who they need to be and that not everything is easy nor pleasing- is great writing. ( this is a well shown journey ) Tsililah is one of my favourite fmc in a long time The mmcs are also just as good the romance between tsiliah & caius is truly beautiful love them so much. The villain in this story is a villain !!! And that’s what I love about this series , there is purpose To grow, fight, overcome.
Definitely looking forward for the next book in the series.
My anxiety was so high this entire book! I was so happy Tsillah and Caius finally start making progress with their relationship but them not looping in Ermir, especially in his fragile state, had me screaming at them! And then that ending?!? I just know that Ermir is feeling the weight of that guilt.

I love this series. I almost didn't start it because of how few reviews there are but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The writing is great, as is the character development and I enjoyed reading a different plot than so many other fantasy books I read. I had no idea this wasn't a trilogy though 😭 Next book please!!
