Jenn has written several books showcasing her knowledge of television and film featuring iconic characters and properties including Star Wars, Gudetama, I Love Lucy, and The Goldbergs.

A baking book with sweet and savory recipes based on and inspired by the Avatar: The Last Airbender television show. There are lovely photographs of some but not all recipes. The recipes vary from easy to more complex, though not labeled as such…the reader has to read the recipe through completely and decide if they have the skills and equipment necessary (same with allergies). The recipes look delicious, and I have several marked to try if I get time before it’s due back at the library. I personally would like more photos, and labels for vegetarian dishes and common allergens.

As a big fan of Avatar: The Last Airbender and of baking, this was the perfect book for me. A lot of the recipes aren’t directly from the show, but all of them are themed around the Avatar universe. I’m so excited to try a bunch of them. All of the recipes would be great for an Avatar themed party.

The recipes are easy to follow and there are a lot of beautiful pictures to show what the end product looks like. I already made the Stewed Sea Prunes Pastry and it tastes so good!!
