Wanted: one hot billionaire to pose as my Christmas boyfriend. Must be willing to make my cheating ex jealous when you kiss me under the mistletoe at all the holiday parties. Bonus points if you make him cry.
To my surprise my billionaire boss is more than up for the challenge of coming down the chimney as my holiday boyfriend. The sexy single dad desperately needs a plus one at a Christmas Eve wedding, where he’s the best man and I’m the maid of honor.
And since my ex is in the wedding party too, my boss and I team up as a pair of insta-lovebirds for the holiday season, including during the annual week-long Christmas competition leading up to the snowy destination wedding.
But soon staying up late to string the best popcorn balls ever turns into a scorching night in his arms where the chestnuts aren’t the only thing roasting on the open fire.
Can all these winter wonderland nights seeking revenge turn into the real thing when we return to the office? Or are we destined to go the way of a Christmas tree on New Year’s?
You can find Lauren on TikTok at @laurenblakelybooks! A #1 New York Times Bestselling, #1 Wall Street Journal Bestselling, and #1 Audible Bestselling author, Lauren Blakely is known for her contemporary romance style that’s sexy, feel-good and witty. Lauren likes dogs, cake and show tunes and she is the vegetarian at your dinner party.
I enjoyed so many of Lauren Blakely’s books over the years—even her steamy romances and festive novellas—so when I saw she was tackling a fake dating Christmas romcom, I couldn’t click request fast enough. A hot billionaire? A holiday competition? A pretend boyfriend to make the ex jealous? Yes, please. Unfortunately, despite the sparkling setup and all the ingredients I usually love, I couldn’t shake the feeling that this book was just… too long. At times it felt like wading through wrapping paper to get to the actual gift. It dragged in the middle, and I often found myself checking my reading progress, wondering how far I still had to go. So I’m settling on 3.5 stars—but rounding up to 4, because the heart of this story still charmed me in many ways.
The highlight, without a doubt, was Wilder and Fable. They’re absolutely adorable as a pretend couple who slowly—okay, not that slowly—start catching very real feelings. Their banter is sharp, their chemistry sizzles, and once they give in to temptation… well, let’s just say the heat level doesn’t disappoint. I also loved seeing a single dad as a romantic lead. Wilder’s love for his teenage daughter Mac is so genuine and sweet, and their bond made him feel so much more than just another handsome billionaire stereotype. Fable’s reactions to their dynamic felt authentic—especially as someone coming out of a relationship that left her doubting herself.
Speaking of relationships, I really appreciated how the book handled Wilder’s ex-wife. There’s no tired bitterness or drama—just two people who’ve moved on and are co-parenting with mutual respect. It’s refreshing and surprisingly touching. And while the Christmas competition wasn’t always the main focus, it added a cozy, slightly chaotic backdrop that fit the festive mood perfectly—think popcorn ball contests, glitter mayhem, awkward mistletoe moments, and just the right dose of holiday sparkle.
That said, I do wish the story had trimmed down the subplots. The football-related scenes, extended conversations with friends, and wedding prep moments (some of which felt endless) took time away from the central romance, and the pacing definitely suffered for it. It’s like eating too much frosting before you get to the cake.
Still, this book had its fair share of swoon-worthy moments, laugh-out-loud lines, and spicy scenes that made me smile. It’s exactly the kind of holiday fantasy you pick up when you want warmth, wit, and a happily-ever-after wrapped in tinsel. Just be prepared for a longer sleigh ride than expected.
A huge thank you to NetGalley and Atria Books for sharing this festive and steamy holiday romcom with me in exchange for my honest thoughts!
3.5 stars for this one. This cover is so cute. This book started out strong and was pulled in, but then this book went on and on. It's 498 pages. This book could've been much shorter. There was no news for it to be this long.
I thought Wilder and Fable were an adorable fake couple. Wilder and his daughter Mac were everything. I loved the example this book set with Wilders ex-wife. I envied this story but numerous times, I stopped and asked myself what percentage I was at. This one is basically a spicy Hallmark movie.
💠 feel good Christmas romance ⚛️ fake dating 💠 Christmas competition ⚛️ single dad 💠 office romance
🎀 Wrapped in Holiday Vibes I came for the holiday sparkle and the swoony romance, and yes, the Christmas vibes are strong here. We’ve got mistletoe moments, cosy settings, Christmas trees, festivities, and competitions… the whole deal. The chemistry was even on fire! But when it comes to the actual writing? I was less ho-ho-ho and more... huh? I just wasn’t hooked.
💸This book has a “Billionaire Boss” kink Just so you don’t think I’m exaggerating, the word boss is mentioned 73 TIMES!! Billionaire = 22 times….. I get it. He’s a billionaire and her boss. Can we move on already?
❤️ Obvious Love, Mysterious Logic Here's one of my biggest pet peeves: when the writing spells out the obvious, but the characters stay blissfully oblivious. You know it. I know it. The entire town knows it. But they’re still playing dumb in the name of conflict. And just when I thought the third act might steer clear of immature plot nonsense, nope — these two go and throw the sleigh off the rails again. Combine that with some eyebrow-raising choices (I can’t take a man seriously when he’s randomly growling in every chapter — sir, are you okay?) and the whole thing starts to lose its charm. Also, if the MCs dump a novel’s worth of personal trivia on each other during their first fake date, and somehow they remember every detail? That’s just too weird and unrealistic.
🔔😅Holiday Charm with Jingle Bells of Frustration The book gave me festive fluff with a few sweet sips of romance, but it didn’t stick the landing for me. If you’re in it for holiday warmth and a touch of bossy spice, you might still enjoy it, but don’t expect it to rewrite your Christmas romance list.
Thank you NetGalley and Atria Books for the ARC.
-- Pre-read: Christmas in the middle of May? Absolutely. Sue me🤭 🎄🤶🏻
DNF at 66% and I should have given up sooner. I just kept expecting this to improve and it didn't.
I was really looking forward to Fable and Wilder's book after the first two books in the Love and Hockey series (where Fable is a sidekick friend to the FMCs). But Lord, this was dull.
Wilder and Fable decide to fake date approximately ten seconds after Fable finds her then-boyfriend cheating on her at Thanksgiving. I'm extremely confused why Fable is even at Wilder's Thanksgiving to begin with because other than their once-per-month work meetings they previously have had very little involvement. Eh, okay. Regardless, they enter into a fake dating arrangement from Thanksgiving weekend to New Year's. Apparently this is consistent with their characters as no one even questions that they are seeing each other two days after Fable ends her several-month relationship.
It gets worse from there. The dialogue is over-the-top cheesy, possibly only to be outdone by the level of holiday cheesiness. The situations these two get into are highly unbelievable and in a normal corporate culture I'd be worried about a visit from HR. But don't worry, they are only fake dating.
I made it 2/3 of the way through this book and I never could figure out exactly why they liked each other. Basically insta-lust and it never progressed from there. Outside of Wilder spending his money on Fable, and Fable crafting something for Wilder and giving it to him, these two hardly have any interactions. I have no idea why Fable likes Wilder other than that he spends money on her. And I have no idea why Wilder likes Fable at all. Maybe because she increased the merch business for his football team? Regardless, they are fake dating, in case you didn't get that.
After a painfully long few weeks of fake dating in San Francisco, they take their fake dating on the road to some cutesy Christmas town. Enter the one bed trope and massive amounts of Christmas cheese. And more fake dating, in case you, dear reader, missed the fact that THIS IS JUST PRETEND AND IT IS JUST FAKE DATING.
They both have trust issues which, although not mentioned much, still somehow managed to seem overdone. But that's okay, because they are only fake dating.
I know this book has a ton of positive reviews but I absolutely could not get into it. My level of enjoyment negatively corresponds to the amount of times I had to read the words "fake" and "pretend".
WILDER IS FCKING PERFECT. He’s hot, a billionaire, he does acts of service & gift giving like nobody’s business & he’s obsessed with eating 🐱
I am sooooo feeling the holiday spirit after listening to this fantastic audio from Lauren Blakely!! I felt like I was reading a hallmark movie, but a rated R version ;)
This whole story starts as Fable (who we meet in a few other books) walks in on her bf cheating on her at a Christmas dinner hosted by her hot billionaire boss, Wilder, & his aunt. The same dinner where her sister gets proposed to. Schemes start scheming and BOOM, her & Wilder come up with a plan to fake date, but we all know how that goes. Especially when someone has fancied the other for a long time & now the two are in tight quarters heheh 😏
Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️ Type: audio
Tropes: Billionaire Fake dating Office romance Single dad Only one bed in the chalet Holiday romance
Xmas is here!! I needed a little cute romance. And this was cute!! But it really didn't need to be 500 pages. It did get eh during some parts.
Fabel catches her boyfriend getting his jingle bells rocked by the cater at her bosses Thanksgiving dinner. She has to keep a happy face since her sister got proposed to and her ex his cousin. Wilder her boss knows something is up since that night and when they talk about the wedding he doesn't wanna be set up by his aunt and he wants to show Fabel what a real man treats his girl.
And the romance is slow. It's super slow. Lots of pinning, and we should and shouldn't. The Christmas games at the wedding were cute, nothing extreme. The big revel, but is it when about 70% of the family were in on the fake dating? I'm glad Wilder told his daughter about it she was a real gem. The third act break up didn't last long. Like few hours, lol.
No ow/Om drama, cheating (not between mains)Tiny drama, sexy times, no virgins
Recommend-yes Cover-⭐️⭐️⭐️ Heat level-🌶🌶.5

What to Expect: ➼ Fake Dating ➼ Billionaire Romance ➼ Boss x Employee ➼ Single Dad ➼ Small Town ➼ He Falls First ➼ One Bed ➼ Holiday Romance ➼ Full Cast Audio ➼ Dual First Person POV
They had me in the first half, but this book ended up being a little too long. It also started to feel pretty cheesy near the end, but that’s somewhat expected from a holiday romance. Great tropes and a lot of strong elements though! The audio was also really well done which got me through to the end, but I think I would have really struggled to finish this one if I’d been physically reading it. One thing I will say is that the things that typically bother me about billionaire romances didn’t bother me in this book. I’m typically a billionaire romance hater, so that’s one major point in it’s favor! As holiday romances go, this was still one of the better ones I’ve read, so I think it’s worth the read if you’re looking to get into the holiday spirit!

Pre-read: Started this on Spotify yesterday and it’s really cute so far! I’m out of listening time so I’ll have to catch the ending in a few days…
This novel is filled with all of the Christmas vibes, along with a romance that contains a lot of spice! This book was fantastic! It had a whimsical tone while reading it and included some shocking moments! I found this to be humorous, entertaining, exciting, fun and magical! Along with the steamy romance, this book also comes with a billionaire boss that ends up fake dating. This book made me feel lighthearted, hopeful, relaxed and adventurous. Furthermore, it gave me all the wintery, cozy vibes. It is a medium paced read with lovable characters. The characters do change and grow throughout the story. The very first chapter captured my attention!
This came with a clear thesis and was both plot and character driven. It was really giving me all the Hallmark vibes, but with spice! Some of the tropes explored in this book is forced proximity, a Christmas romance and competition, a single Dad, and a boss and employee romance! This also comes with banter between the two main characters and a dual point of view! To me, this book came with everything a great romance should come with! The author adding the Christmas theme to this story just made it an amazing and magical read!

"Wanted: one hot billionaire to pose as my Christmas boyfriend. Must be willing to make my cheating ex jealous when you kiss me under the mistletoe at all the holiday parties. Bonus points if you make him cry. " 🎄💝🤭🎊✨
This book has SUCH good VIBES! I don’t know what it was but I just had a really good feeling about it. Despite a rocky start for our heroine, Fable, there was an uplifting feel to the story. It was fun, flirtatious, and festive 🤩💖🎄✨
If you’re looking for a feel good story with fake dating (your boss 🤭), Christmas traditions, and finding love in unexpected places, look no further 🙇🏻♀️ This holiday romance is sure to warm your heart 🥰 It is without a doubt a 5 🌟 holiday read!
"Fable wants a date for her sister’s Christmas Eve wedding. I want to get Bibi off my back during the holiday season. And I’d like to show that Brady guy how a woman should be treated. More so, I’d like to show Fable." …and so, it begins 🙇🏻♀️
Cue: a series of festive, humorous, and wonderfully heated moments that are sure to keep you entertained…sending this holiday pact into something more magical ✨
“Someone could even list it on a pill bottle—side effects of fake dating may vary and include, but are not limited to, swoons, stomach flips, and naughty thoughts. You may want to talk to your pharmacist about what to expect and watch out for. If symptoms persist, see your love doctor." 😂
Wilder - billionaire boss, handsome single dad….need I say more? 😉 He’s intelligent, gorgeous, passionate about everything he does, the world’s best listener, and he’s a little obsessed with taking care of all your needs. He is the full package my friends and, is honestly one of my favourite male characters.
Fable is an absolute joy. I love this girl so much. She brings warmth, fun, festivity, and the way she navigates heartbreak is admirable. Furthermore, the way she interacts with Wilder’s daughter, Mac, is so precious and was so heartwarming.
Mac - the girl herself 🙆🏻♀️ this little munchkin had superhero matchmaking skills! She was so witty and her character had so much to give. I loved how open she was about welcoming Fable into their little family. It was so sweet 🥹 She brought the fun and an unexpected emotional depth to the story.
"The trouble is, I don’t think my daughter’s faking. And as I look toward the two of them, I know I’m not faking anything either." 💖
The dual POV narrative lent itself well to this storyline, giving us an inside view into who falls first 👀 Although this is technically a ‘fake-dating’ story, it didn’t feel that way to me. From the very beginning, their connection felt so genuine and true. They were both open and honest with each other which I really valued, especially when it came to the people whom they loved most.
Furthermore, the holiday setting adding a real charm and magic to the story. I particularly loved the scenes from the week-long snowy getaway that included family Christmas competitions and traditions - it really escalated the relationship 🤐
Overall, I adored this book and enjoyed every second of reading it. The story had such a whimsical tone, and while Lauren delivered many laugh-out-loud moments, she also created a real depth of emotion and character to the book. I honestly don’t have a bad word to say about this book. It was FABULOUS festive fun 🤩🎄💖✨
I love the dynamic of Wilder and Fable and felt it was on point.
But the story was too long. Focused on more on random moments such as her friends, football and her sisters upcoming marriage than actual Christmas stuff. Wasn't excited about this one.
Quick Opinion: I know, I didn't get to my typical 30% before calling it quits. I got to them calling each other "little elf" and "sugar plum" and that was it for me. I like holiday theme romances and this had some great reviews, but this was too much. It was like it was trying too hard to be quirky and funny and I just found it...kind of cringey 😬 Not trying to be all bahumbug, so I'm just going to move on...
If you’re looking for a Christmasy romance read, I would definitely give this one a try. It’s filled with fake dating, forced proximity, and all the Hallmark vibes. And of course…the spice.
In the book, we follow our girl Fable, who teams up with her billionaire boss to fake date and make her cheating ex-boyfriend jealous. But the more time they spend together, the more the lines start to blur. Are they really faking it anymore?
I had such a fun time reading this. It was cozy, swoony, and surprisingly tender. You see two people who are used to being the fixer and the tough one, slowly softening and finding comfort in each other.
Overall, I give this a 5 ⭐ rating.
I want to thank Netgalley, Atria Books, and Lauren Blakely for the copy. All options expressed in this review are my own.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
This was a full length holiday Romance! It involves a billionaire single dad, and his employees who begin fake dating after she catches her boyfriend cheating on her. Fable doesn't want to appear weak and Wilder doesn't want his aunt to keep setting him up, so what are they to do?
Fake date until everyone leaves them alone, of course! Well, that's not likely to work out for them, but we'll be entertained anyway!
I loved the whole crew in this book and there were lots of cameos and call backs to other books that I loved. I also loved Wilder's daughter and even his baby mama, who was supportive and sweet.
I do think that this was a bit long winded and I found myself thinking, "Isn't it Christmas YET?" Haha! But it was a cheery, sexy, fun book. I had a book time and I look forward to reading another from this author, very soon.
As always, the only way to read a Lauren Blakely (in my view) is with audio. This one was done in duet narration by Jason Clarke & Samantha Brentmoor, with a full cast. Just wonderful and a pleasure to listen to.
4 Stars 3.5 on the spice scale
*Thank you to the author for an ALC of this title.*
My Favorite Holidate by Lauren Blakely How to Date series #5. Contemporary holiday romance. Fake relationship troupe. 1st person, alternating POV. Can be read as a stand-alone. Wilder needs a plus one for his best friend’s wedding. He didn’t expect it to be an employee from his firm, but Fable seems perfect to carry off the temporary fake romance. Fable needs a date for the wedding she’s attending since her ex will be at the event. Wilder is definitely in a position to make the weekend easier as her fake boyfriend for the long weekend. Keep it platonic or have some fun? Keep it a secret or tell those few that would be hurt by the lie? Decisions.
How fun and even sentimental. Super steamy and happy holidays. Banter and humor. Lots of names and relationships to remember. Focus on the couple and fall in love for Christmas.
I can’t believe I read all 500 pages of this. It started pretty good and then became the most boring and unrealistic fake dating I’ve ever read. Hard pass 🥱🥴
This had all the makings of a great holiday romance but the characters were way too immature for me, it felt like being stuck at the kids table for the entire wedding weekend.
There were a few sweet moments (I usually love fake dating!) but most of the story leaned too cheesy and had me rolling my eyes more than smiling.
If you like your romances super light and full of holiday spirit, this might be the cozy read you’re looking for, it just wasn’t quite my favorite holidate.
Fake dating is such a hot trope right now. Obviously, for the author, it is their distinctive storytelling abilities and character development that are going to make or break the story.
I’m a sucker for a billionaire romance, and this one fit the bill with not only the fake dating, but also the sweet, sexy male lead character who makes a splash and a huge impression.
I love that he falls first and they have a wonderful time getting to know each other on a personal level. Humorous and fun, Blakely pulls out the stops and gives us everything we want. Sexy times with steam and sweetness. A beautiful story with a pre-teen stacking the decks and a wacky wedding buildup.
My Favorite Holidate doesn’t miss and I fell for this steamy and sweet holiday romance that begs for a re-read immediately! Make sure to check out this upcoming republished special edition.

I received a free copy of, My Favorite Holidate, by Lauren Blakely, from the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Fable and Wilder, weird names for a Christmas story, but there you go, are pretending to be in love for the holiday season. I found these characters a bit to immature for my liking.
I absolutely LOVED this book! This was my first book by Lauren Blakely, and I immediately bought the second one in this series and contemplated starting her Love & Hockey series. I loved the banter. I loved the characters. I loved the setting. This book was the perfect holiday book- we had the billionaire boss (Wilder) who *didn't do relationships.* We had the quirky, cute employee (Fable) who was obsessed with Christmas. We had the cozy holiday town with the villas, and then of course there was the fake dating aspect. There was the chemistry between these two. There was the questioning what was real and what was for show. And then there was the very clearly NOT for show stuff. Oh did I mention that Wilder was a single dad who had the coolest kid. There were also the side characters who were routing for Fable and Wilder the whole time. I love when you have a fake dating situation and both MCs realize how far gone they are. And how much more they want. I love trying to figure out which one is going to break first. I loved Wilder- he was so firm in his stance. He didn't want anyone to feel like they came in second to his work, but he had a secret crush on Fable. I loved him realizing he wanted this for real and then understanding that he could have it for real. I also loved how much he supported Fable in all things that made her who she was. And then I liked how Fable challenged Wilder and helped him get over a huge hurdle in his life that he had been hiding from. One that was hindering his relationships. These two just made each other better! And the spice was SOOO hot yall :)
Fable can't believe this is happening. At her boss's place of all places. She just walked in on her boyfriend cheating on her. And yet she is more mad about where she is which is an indication of hoe she really felt about him. But she can't say what has happened because her sister just got engaged. She doesn't want to steal her thunder. But then in talking with her boss about the upcoming holiday, she finds herself coming up with a scheme to be fake boyfriend and girlfriend. They were already all going on vacation for the wedding anyways. They can lay ground rules that will help keep things clear. Even though what she is thinking about Wilder, her boss, is very very not clear. Has he always been this hot? Has he always been this tempting? How has she never noticed until now? And he seems interested in her too. Glancing her way more than he used to. Suggesting they practice kisses and dates to make sure they have good rhythm. How do these fake kisses feel better than any real life kiss she has ever had? How is she supposed to share a cabin with this man and not pursue more? She isn't. That's the truth because she can't fight this anymore. She wants him. So they explore. They say it will only be during the holiday. But she feels things and experiences things with him that she never has before. Things that make her think- what if this could be something more? He's just so thoughtful and genuine and makes her laugh. He is everything she wants in a man, but they are acting right now. And when the truth comes out she doesn't know how they can overcome that. She knows she wants more, but she wants him to want it too.
Wilder has rules around dating. Basically that he doesn't. And yet his aunt is on a mission to set him up with someone. So when his super cute employee, Fable, comes in babbling about how to get back at her ex. It's obvious. They will fake date on vacation together for the wedding they are both in. They will put on a show for her ex and get his aunt off her back. The problem is that this fake business comes too easily. It's too easy to plan a date for Fable. It's too easy to want to learn more about her. Their practicing kissing is too tempting to turn real. How has this happened? Wilder is the epitome of control and yet he has completely lost it around this woman. He is manhandling her in his office. He is trying to figure out how to get more from her while also recognizing this can't go anywhere...or can it? Because the more time he spends with Fable and the more she is around his family, the more this feels TOO good. TOO real. TOO AMAZING. And when they actually give in to their desires. When she gives herself to him as a Christmas gift, it's like Wilder feels like he isn't living in reality anymore. But then the truth comes out. And while Wilder is angry he also recognizes when to give in. He realizes this really was all a fairytale...or was it? Because he realizes he will do anything to keep Fable in his life. He just hopes she wants him in hers too.
I HIGHLY recommend listening to the audio! It was a full cast and Fable and Wilder's narrators were fantastic! I was completely sucked into this one. I wanted to be friends with these people. This book felt like a really good hug with some hot kisses thrown in. If you are looking for a spicy holiday read, look no further! I can't recommend this enough!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!
I've loved a lot of Lauren's books and audiobooks, so I feel like I'm qualified to say this, but hands down, this was my favorite Lauren Blakely book! There is something just so special about Wilder and Fable and their adorable story full of mutual pinning and holiday festivities. Lauren did an incredible job, as always balancing the angst and humor!
Wilder is a sexy single dad who's only focus in life is making sure he's the best dad he can be. Although his giving heart does extend to the people he loves! I think the reason I love single dad romances so much isn't just because they're unbelievably swoony with their kids. But these men take care of their women. Making sure they're provided for. And Lauren captured that perfectly in Wilder. He took such good care of Fable without her having to ask for things; he just did it. He paid attention to her favorite things without her having to tell him. I loved his gruff exterior that loved up his very huge heart!
“You like making people’s dreams come true, don’t you?"
Lauren gave us the most adorable FMC, Fable. I felt like her name was so fitting for her personality. She was such a gentle soul. And I enjoyed getting to know her so much. The book opens with a VERY unfortunate event happening to Fable. But I can't say I was sad to see her kick her d**k of a boyfriend to the curb. And the way Wilder stepped in to show her exactly how a woman deserves to be treated with his big, beautiful heart, it all unfolded so perfectly!
The mutual pinning in the book made me FERAL! I loved every second of watching these two fake date with VERY real feelings! Lauren nailed it.
There were so many incredible side characters, but Mac, Wilder's daughter, was hands down the best side character. I loved watching her play matchmaker with these two! She was an adorable kid! And Lauren did such a wonderful job expressing Wilder and Mac's relationship! It was the sweetest! If you want to swoon over a single dad with a giving heart, this book is for you!!!
There could not have been a pick for Wilder and Samantha! Holy smokes, you two nailed this performance. Jason with his gruffy and growly voice playing a single dad pinning over a woman he's crushed on for years! SIGN ME UP EVERY TIME! Jason's performance was incredible! Samantha shined in this book as Fable. I absolutely loved her performance! And I say it every time, and I'll probably always say it because it's a favorite of mine when it comes to Samantha. But listening to her play gentle soul like Fable with her sweet voice was PERFECT!! I adore Samantha's voice. I love her in every role I've listened to her play! But there's just something about her playing such a sweet FMC like Fable. She brought Fable to LIFE! And you can never go wrong with Jason and Samantha together!
I adored all the special performances. Some from older characters and some from new! Lauren knows how to pick her cast!!
Talk about opening a book with a bang! Lauren Blakely’s humor and wit are on full display in this sexy fake dating holiday treat!
Wilder and Fable’s story is so freaking funny and sweet. Here’s what I loved: The humor is done so well. From Fable’s bed hogging and sleep talking to the crafty Christmas lingo interspersed throughout, I laughed out loud throughout the entire book.
Sexy, single dad who just happens to be a gift giving ninja and overall good guy. Yea, sign me up!
Did I mention it’s a fake relationship workplace romance? Yup! So freaking good. If you’re in the mood for a steamy Christmas treat, grab this one asap! Recommended.
Really fun on audio (full cast!!!!)! Several Very open door spicy scenes lol but the billionaire romance trope was fun and not as ridiculous as it usually is. My main issue is this book did not need to be 500 pages.
“I love you so much. You are extraordinary, and I want to love you that way too.”
I was really in a mood for a fake dating kind of romance. Don't ask me why, but it just felt like all the other books on my kindle or collecting dust in my room just weren't appealing. So, I obviously had to go download a holiday romance book.
I'll admit, this took me a while to devour. Mostly because work kept getting in the way. Eventually I was able to carve out some time to sit down and see how the christmas games were going to end, if the fake was turning into something real, and if her cheating ex-boyfriend was ever going to leave this place.
All my dreams came true and I'm really glad that I was able to knock this book out. I really liked the side characters throughout this. I also see there's a sequel to this! I have no idea who it will be about but say less - I'm downloading it now.
