“Be brave enough to go big.” ❤️🏡🧑‍🧑‍🧒🪦🪩🎓📚🚗👩🏼‍🍳🎧🎥🎬
My imagination could never have reached the spectacular outcome of this masterpiece! I felt like a time traveler, reliving the good old 2000s nostalgia. It’s funny, heartwarming, and emotional—I honestly don’t know where to start or where to end, because I’m completely blown away.
I had such a great time reading this book and absolutely loved Liz. I connected with her right away when she mentioned watching Bridget Jones with her mom. The deeper passages about her mother’s death and how she copes with it, the way her stepmom suddenly becomes the “enemy,” and how everything seems to fall apart—it all hit so close to home.
It’s the perfect mix of a classic teenage-movie storyline: chasing one boy, but fate having other plans. I LOVED it. ❤️ I’m so excited for the next novel and can’t wait to see how life unfolds for these two adorable lovebirds.

“I think in lyrics rather than words.” ❤️🇺🇸🎶🎧🧑‍🧑‍🧒📚⚾️🏟️🧢🌸🕯️

Wow, what a ride. To be honest, in the beginning I could not imagine this duology becoming this freaking amazing. Even the second book was far beyond my expectations, and I loved it. To be fair, it doesn’t quite reach the first one — it lacks a bit of nostalgia and laughter — BUT it delivers a whole range of emotions and beautifully deep passages.

You can really feel that Liz and Wes have grown up and are dealing with more serious issues than before. I’m not fully at peace with Liz’s development away from being a romantic; that part made the first book special and gave it so much of its nostalgic charm. I do understand that she became more of a realist, but if you’re a dreamer of that kind, I don’t think you can just push it aside.

However, I absolutely enjoyed Wes and his mission to win Liz back — chaotic, funny, and overall just incredibly enjoyable. The baseball aspect added a special twist I didn’t see coming and ended up finding quite interesting.

Even though the story of these two is most definitely over with this novel, I encourage every one of you to grab it from your shelf, get cosy, and just start reading. Because I genuinely think a story like this won’t come along again any time soon — at least not one that comes close to this masterpiece.

ENJOY!!

Such a cute teen rom com. I definitely recommend reading this. You will fall in love with the characters. I will say tho the second book is BY far so much better in my opinion. So if you’re not feeling this one but you still read it trust me read the second one still it’s great! It’s so much more mature and great plot and it keeps you on edge
