This volume sees the end of the Fujino Family Arc (for now...) and the beginning of the Exorcist Bureau Arc.
It's sometimes hard/tricky to get over the over-the-top Type-Moon-isms of the writing. Fujino can't disobey her family because the Insidious Binds on her Soul Gear will strangle her. But Nue is so powerful she can just overwrite the Binds so they fall under her own jurisdiction.
Ayyyyy, Master Moroyuki! Forgot he used to be an antagonist (lol)
The barrage of slash attacks doesn't look that great. Kawae-sensei's action will improve in the future, though. At the very least, this isn't too different from the KnY ufotable particle effects everyone wanks over....
Kuranosakimichi is the type of shit I read this series for! I mean, the boobs, too, I guess. But mostly the monster design! Well, okay, maybe mostly the boobs....
It's cool to see Suga and Shimaki here as well, since they become more relevant much later.
