May December insta love romance between a younger police officer and an older firefighter. There’s heavy emphasis on the hero liking the tall and muscular heroine, loads of sex and a nice detailed epilogue.

quick read, I’ll give full review later. No cheating, no one/om drama, Insta love lust, i don’t know if the heroine is a virgin or not, the word wasn’t mentioned but i think she might have past experiences not sure. Kinda odd of OTT, typically this is always addressed and OTT advertises virgins, their WHOLE BRAND is around safe virgin romances. We don’t see that here… We don’t know about the heros sexual past either. 🫤

Play Ball ! . . .

The charity softball game that the fire and police departments engage in each year was in full swing. Spotting Graham West, Greene Mountains’ “silver fox” fire chief, the new police officer transfer Cara, an obviously amazing pitcher, feels the heat start to rise as she and Graham check each other out. He is most definitely an alpha mountain man, but unlike any other she has known. His protective nature calls to her and he definitely knows what he wants. Will this be the start of something new for the two of them?

This author will catch your attention and keep you fully invested in the story from beginning to end. Her characters are well presented, creating emotional attachments that make them feel like real people who matter to the reader. Keep that smile on your face! This one is definitely worth your time to read and enjoy!

Anytime I pick up one of her books there are three things I know for sure…

One… it’s going to be a EPIC love story…

Two… I’m going to fall in love with these OTT obsessive MMC’s…

AND Three… it’s going to be some of the hottest stuff I’ve ever read.

If you love men who fall first and fall hard, if you love the fierce women that wrap these men around their fingers, and some good old banter this book’s for you!

I love that every time this Author gives us another peak of this little mountain town we are greeted with familiar characters and meet new ones!

This is a great little series of short and spicy reads!

I really enjoyed this one cuz Graham is just chefs kiss… the only thing I don’t like is the big jumps at the end.. if the author jumps 5 years that’s fine but she jumped from 5 to 20 and that’s too much… graham was basically 77 years old and Cara was like 58 and he’s acting like he’s still 52… I don’t think that at 77 hes still be this big mountain man… I would prefer she just stopped at the 5 year later jump and I can still picture him sexy and not a damn grandpa saggy at 77 that’s trying to hard…

Also they mentioned an arsonist and literally nothing came of that… did the author forget?

Graham ire chief of the Greene Mountains, 52, and he is with his team members waiting to start the annual baseball game against the police dept. He and the police chief have been rivals since high school.
Cara,33, has moved to the Greene Mountains after being shot in the thigh while she worked in Chicago. She needs to be somewhere less dangerous. Now she's running a little late because she baby sat her neighbor's son.
When she finally gets to the game she notices a silver hottie and his gaze is fixated on her too. It seems the two of them can't keep their eyes off each other. The Police chief is convinced they'll win because she
played ball in college.
After the game the two teams do the handshake all around. Then Graham asks Cara on a date but she tells him she works that night. They decide on the next day. That night at work all she can think about is Graham. Then
a call comes in about a fight at the bar with bikers. So off they go. The bar owner even called the fire dept. When Graham sees a guy choking Cara he goes ballistic. Now he taking care of her head wound.
It seems the two are focused on each other. Will they figure out what's going on? Graham believes in soulmates and thinks she is his. Does she feel the same?
A cute story set in a small town.

Always funny when epilogues are 20-30 yrs in the future and MMCs that would be in their late 70s are ‘scooping up and carrying’ the FMMs around. None of the 77 yr olds I know are doing that. Either I know wimps, the MMCs are ageless OR the author forget to do the math.

Graham is the Fire Chief in Greene Mountain. The firefighters are playing the police in a game of baseball. Graham really wants to win. The firefighters are ahead nine to two after the second inning. Then the new police officer shows up and she is a ringer. Cara is a muscular woman who is not comfortable with her body but she needs it to be a police officer. She use to be in Chicago but after she got shot she decided to come to Greene Mountain. Cara played softball in college. When she comes up to bat Graham can’t take his eyes off her and ends up not catching the ball she hit. Graham knows that Cara is his soulmate. Cara is very interested in the silver fox Graham. Even though the police beat the firefighters in the game Graham is more interested in getting a date with Cara. Cara is on duty that night but she agreed to go out with Graham the next night. Cara and her partner get a call to a dive bar where a fight with bikers has broken out. The two of them are outmanned even with another officer coming. Cara gets put in a chokehold by one of the bikers and is almost ready to pass out when Graham comes in with other firefighters to help. Graham is pissed that someone is hurting his woman and punches him until he releases her. Can Graham and Cara have an age gap romance? Will Graham and Cara be a good match? Will Graham and Cara find love and happiness in Greene Mountain?

No one's striking out in this game! No losers here, just winners. This is happily yet another Greene Mountain book by OTT! I absolutely love this town! It's so cozy and it's residents are apparently very yummy to look at! If only...! This is a full read with great writing! I love these two, so cute together and steamy of course!

She was new to town and met someone she never expected. He hadn't had his world tilted like this ever!

First off, thank you for bringing in the Terrible two! I LOVE them! Oh my goodness. They're terrible! But hysterical! I do however think they need their eyes checked-after all, who's going to make fun of him?! Really? Ladies, I don't even need a spoon to serve me up some of that! And I don't go for silver foxes, but hey, I won't be my age forever and I can appreciate Grade A when I see it! But yes, they were back and I was tickled! These two are wonderful together. I love this comfy town and feel so happy reading about it's residents, just like all OTT books, there is great comfort and no cheating. And the attraction is sweet and steamy, like these two. I loved that HEA as well, what a beautiful and serene place to be. I received my ARC copy for free and I volunteer this review. I love OTT and am always happy to read her books!

They have instant chemistry. Graham is in his early 50s and Cara is in her early 30s. (We still have an ägë-gäp romance! 😏) Graham is a protector in all the best ways. Cara is a star pitcher and decimated the fire department - love to see her take them all down. Classic Olivia's HEA, Future Epilogues... and the cover is absolutely gorgeous! 🥰 Treat yourself to reading this book, you will enjoy it!

This is Instalove as only OTT can do it. The romance is between Graham, the local fire chief, and Cara, a local cop, new to the area and with a killer softball pitch. They just click. He loves her muscular body, too, as she loves his; they really are each other’s type. The connection is instant and epic. Interesting thing about this one is something that is very rare in an OTT book: the heroine is not a virgin. This really makes sense to the story, as she is 33 (he is 52). Something I really loved was that they saved each other’s bacon during one particularly intense scene. I loved the book.

Um....wow. Graham was dreamy. The cover was absolutely perfect for him. He was the big, strong fire chief. I loved that he was absolutely obsessed and smitten with her at first sight. I mean, he lost the game which was so important before she showed up. Lol. I really loved his possessiveness. The way he just looked at her made me melt. I loved their chemistry and how well they fit each other. Cara was strong. I mean, she was a cop, so she needed to be. She never felt truly wanted by a man because of her strength. All she needed was a man that was stronger and loved her strength and everything she was. These two were perfect soulmates. I really loved their story. This series is a definite favorite for me. OTT is always an amazing choice.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is a story in the Green Mountain Boys series. In this book, an annual baseball game between the fire and police departments leads the fire chief to find his love when he lays eyes on a new police officer. Cara recently started with the police department after a close call in Chicago, she wanted a slower pace of life. Cara also played baseball in college and when the fire chief Graham is up at bat, she strikes him out, but he knows she will be his. Graham is older and Cara is also instantly attracted to him, but thinks he would never be interested in her, because of her athletic figure. Cara has been told she was too strong for some men, but Graham is in love with her and her figure. I loved this instant love story. I loved that Graham was so possessive of Cara and loved her for herself. Another great steamy read.

As we always get from Olivia, this was a super sweet, super hot, age gap, holy big mountain man!, instalove, OTT, possessive romance. What I loved that was a little different about this one from previous books in this series is that the FMC Cara is a cop, she’s very physically strong and is actually self-conscious of that, having found in her past that her muscles, although helpful for her job, are not perceived as sexy or desirable by men. Of course, our hero Fire Chief Graham, finds this one of the sexiest things about Cara and makes sure she understands it.

I LOVED this insta-love with two strong independent characters who come together in an explosion of passion and love!! Cara is new to town and meets Graham when the fire department and police department have their annual charity baseball match. Cara is skilled and the PD wallops the Fire department, but even losing Fire Chief Graham is struck by the stunning woman.

I was happy that Cara's image self-doubt was addressed as even strong women still have internal fears and insecurities. I adored that Graham loved her as she was-muscles and all! 🥰

Fast paced read with the two meeting on the baseball field, on the job and then on a terrific, sexy date! Can't wait to read more from the author!

I do love an OTT book!! Hands down one of my faves...

She gives you something after a rough day, when you don't want to have to struggle through a book for days, one which you can devour in one amazing sitting, and head off to bed thoroughly satisfied.

She allows her readers to settle in, enjoy a love story with zero H & h drama ( and some pretty decent smexy times to boot!)

But .. I just feel, of late, that nothing quite happens anymore, no real back story) remember the days of the shifters unleashed series?

There, we fully enjoyed the OTT love story that we all LOVE, but with just enough back story to keep us wondering how they were going to get out of this situation.

.. having said this, though, I remain devoted to OTT, she's definitely worth it!

This is another fun, sweet and steamy addition to the series and I loved Cara for Graham. He may be a silver fox, but he knew, from first look, that she was something very special to him. He believed in soulmates and knows he's found his. Cara may not realize all that about him but she knows he's into her and she can't keep her eyes off him either. I really like that he admired her strength. They both have dangerous jobs but manage to look out for each other. When you dive into this one, expect a fun and funny, hot romance with some danger and drama to keep things hopping. Of course, the author included some future epilogues that I also loved. Definitely recommend this book and the rest of the series :D

Absolutely delightful

I loved this! It was fun, sweet, sexy and swoony. I loved the instant attraction and connection between Graham and Cara, but also the admiration and respect Graham shows towards all aspects of Cara - as a woman, an officer, and a brilliant softball player. The heat between these two was scorching and I particularly enjoyed the steamy scenes Olivia has brought to life in this absolutely delightful ripper of a tale. Possibly my new favourite from the talented and over-the-top Olivia T. Turner.

I loved Striking Out In The Mountains Book 11 of Greene Mountain Boys. I really need to find one of these mountain men. Cara is new to Greene Mountain while Graham is the beloved fire chief. One look and they are both smitten, thinking if the future before they even finish their first date. Cara is very self conscious because shes got wide shoulders and is very muscular but Graham loves it. This was a shirt and extra steamy read, and I loved it. The characters are great and I would definitely recommend this book and the series.

Chief Graham…has me thinking of starting a massive fire just so I could catch a glimpse of him! He was so sure of himself and what he wanted, he saw and conquered.
That first kiss was so hot!

I liked how Cara just knew it was right. That Graham was the man for her, he accepted and loved ALL of her!
God, the way he reassured her and made her see herself in a different light was beautiful.

I kinda wish the end didn’t jump straight into the epilogues, like one more chapter of them being together first would have made this perfect for me.

I want books for all the guys in the fire squad AND now the police squad too, but maybe I’m just greedy…

I loved this over the top story and I can honestly say Graham did not strike out. In fact he hit a home run and the jackpot when he met Cara. It's Green Mountains annual charity baseball game with the firefighters against the policemen. This has been going on for years but when the policemen bring in a ringer all bets are off. Cara is the ringer but Graham doesn't care. It's instalove for this older big mountain man firefighter and Cara can't help herself. One look at Graham and she's in one hundred percent. This is a fast easy read, so much hot steam and I loved it.
