pedantic and extremely repetitive
Although the book has some merits, overall it seems like a series of essays loosely tied together, each with very little knowledge of the other. For example, the holiest sights on the Temple Mount are explained at least 100 times in almost the same manner. I lost count on how many times it was said that Jerusalem was sacred to Jews, Christians and Muslims, like this is an unknown fact.
