Ahhh, give me some twists and turns and all is not as it seems.. Oh and kind of remind me of Dune and Children of Dune (scifi miniseries movies for the uninitiated)
Stirring the pot. Well, lots of questions arise throughout with answers found out. Kind of like leaving with the first book... where can this go now? And must say, this left me feeling confused along with the characters! As for confusion, enter spoiler alert:
Concerning Thoran and Eaton.. Thoran you are an ass! This pissy attitude dealing with towards Eaton, after stating to the team going for rescue.. hello red flag, clearly Eaton means more to him than he can admit. Once he gets it together and finally gives in, I feel like tolerating him then. The other thing that stands out the most would be their first intimate encounter. Lubed up, and end up giving first blowjob..no mention of tasting lube. Almost like within two seconds Ms Hagen forgot she lubed Thoran up. This just rubbed me wrong. If the scene moved lubing a few sentences down upon entrance instead it would be just fine.
On a separate note, Theres been mention of the possible extra closeness of Nyx and Dax.. I'd like to get to the bottom of that... I mean, if they ARE mates how could they take so long to close the deal? And how would one of them have avoided getting preggers for this long? How long till we find out?
