The last person she expected to see in the doctor’s office was the guy who broke her heart!
Colleen I knew there was a reason my mother was pushing me to go get a physical – she had a plan to fix me up with my ex-boyfriend, the boy who broke my heart twenty years ago. Ben may be a handsome doctor now, but I don’t know if I can trust him when he says he wants a second chance.
Ben When I moved back to the small town of Cedar Creek I figured there was a chance I’d run into Colleen, the only woman I’ve ever loved. One look at the curvy beauty and I’m head over heels in love again. I just need to convince her to take a chance on forever – and fortunately I’ve got a whole town of nosy matchmakers to help me.

My Opinion: This was a cute, hallmark-y romance, the second chance was well-made, and the characters were very likable. Sounds like a fun series. If you want a quick read, you might like this one.
This was the shortest story I’ve ever read! STEM MMC medical doctor and curvy STEM FMC web designer. Second chance romance, closed door, love at first sight, and no third act breakup. I’m not one much to buy into love at first sight and since it was a short story it went too fast. But it was well written, short on details, no spice.
If you love a sweet almost arranged relationship by meddling family members this is the story for you, you’ll have to read and see if this small town helps these two people fall in love maybe all over again. It’s sweet lighthearted hearted you ever hear of or experienced the right person at the wrong time well this doctor might have too!
Short, sweet and to the point. The only thing I didn’t like - the second Epilogue. I feel like there could easily be nine books in this series but based on the epilogue, two are already not going to be written. Even if they are written, it feels like a surprise was spoiled.
4.5….Sooo cute. A adorable second chance at love. Ben and Colleen were once important to each other…then he left for college…medical school. Now Ben is back in town and Colleen is on his radar. This is a second chance at love with fun characters and sassy banter.
The book was good, but very predictable and too short. It would have been better if the plot had a little more conflict and went on for a little longer.
