Similar to the first book in the series, the scene skipping and all of the characters just knowing information without being told are jarring. Errors within the book distract and there's less intensity in this one in comparison to the first. It's a story about Ares, a werewolf, and his mate Latasha, a witch and continues from the first book. Latasha had been kidnapped and Ares and his brothers find her. However, once Ares kills her captor and everyone else in the location she was held, he runs away from her in horror because of himself. For some reason he keeps running. Really I don't understand the reason for it OR for his sudden return because it isn't explained well. I didn't enjoy the back story or the rest of the book and although I really want to know how the other two brothers find their mates, I'm not sure if I'll be able to get into those books.

Enjoyable
Word what a captivating story! These characters are awesome with chemistry that will melt your world. It's exciting and very thrilling there is lots of action! WOW this will bring a smile to your face because their relationship is so delightful. This will be a pleasurable experience for everyone. I so enjoyed the secondary characters after meeting them in the last story. It pulls you in from the beginning and keep you on the edge of your seat. Of course there is one thing I want and that is for this author to write more about these characters because I hate for a FANTASTIC story to end. But overall this is what I have expect from this author which l thoroughly enjoy. I want you to know I couldn't put my reader down because I was pulled into their love affair so quickly. Believe me when I say they are so captivating that you will want to read this over and over again. Ares and Latasha love is explosive but it gives you that happy feeling from deep down that it's a forever kind of love. I have really enjoyed this story because it's such a pleasurable experience to read. If I could I would have given out another ten stars. Happy Reading Enjoy!!!

Latasha and the Beast
Ares and Latasha
Ares came in hard in the previous book and had to be told to calm down to not scare Tasha off. However, after their fieat meeting, he was stunned silent.
Due to events, their is bounty placed on Latasha and a lot of time is spent resucing her...lol some of the rescuing caused Ares to be a a person that he doesn't like that part of himself. So, he runs from their attraction for a bit.
When they are back on solid ground, there is atill a threat to Latasha.
I enjoyed this read and the fact that the villians dont get to wreck havoc for the whole book.

She claimed him. - I suggest that you read You Are Mine! (book 1) to appreciate the MCs' relationship. Latasha wrecked Ares when he came for her, leaving him in a passion-induced haze his brothers found amusing. I really wish the author had given us a look into their first loving. Latasha had been waiting for him, couldn't wait to get her hands on her mate. When she is taken, twice, he saves her, totally eviscerating the enemies who dared touch his mate. He loses himself to his beast, only to be soothed and wooed by his mate. She will protect him as much as he will do so for her. A power couple if there ever was one. A great addition to the series, with MCs who are perfectly matched and so cute together. The fierce enforcer and his feisty garden witch almost set my e-reader on fire. I love that he's gaga over her and he takes the teasing from his family with good humor. I listened to the Audible version. The AI narrator didn't take much from the story, although it is not without issues. Ex. "Mate" does not need to be pronounced in Spanish.

Very powerful hero and heroine. When they first meet sparks fly, all they see is each other. A very powerful wolf, and a garden witch. She is his goddess, and queen and he is her everything. After being kidnapped and when he comes to her rescue killing everyone in his path, he fears his beast is too much for her. She is undaunted and is willing to chase him down to let him know that he is HERS, no running.

Editing and continuity
Where's the editing? Where's the continuity? Where's the storytelling? This reads like an incomplete outline.
The heroine changed her name once. How long were they on the Island? What happened??!! Where's character development?
I gave it two stars because the author had the guts to attempt writing a story, but overall this was rambling put in book format.
I'll try another book by the author to see if the writing style improves.

Loved It.
Wow you did it again. This book had me up all night. I love the characters and storyline. I gave this book 5 stars because it kept my interest and was well written. I will definitely recommend this series to friends and family.

Each book is great on its own! But together, each story just gets better and better,and better! I just finished this second book and I and going on to the third right away.

The voice of the fmc seemed way to similar to the one in the first book. It kinda felt like I was just reading the first one again with some added scenes.
