In a world of blood and betrayal, the truth might be the deadliest ride of all.
My father was a ghost. A whispered name. A shadow my mother feared, always watching the door like he might materialize and drag us into his darkness at any second. The infamous president of the Vicious Reapers Motorcycle Club. And now he’s dead. I’m all that’s left to settle his estate—a man I never knew, not even in a photograph. Now, I’m crossing the country to sift through his life, chasing answers my mother spent years running from. The president is dead. Bullet is here to claim what’s his. Bullet. A ruthless, cocky bastard who wants me gone before I even unpack. To him, I’m just a pretty little problem—better off in his bed than in his way. He thinks I want money and power. He’s wrong. I want the truth. But in a world built on blood and betrayal, it might just kill me.
Hayley Faiman was born and raised in the Central Valley of California. She and her husband met when they were still in High School. They were married a few years later. They lived in Oregon while her husband was in the US Coast Guard. After living in Hill Country, Texas, for eight years and three years in East Texas, they now call North Carolina home and spend their time with their two teenage sons at all their events, screaming from the stands as they swim their hearts out!
Wow!! What a huge page turner with all of the action, steam, and drama. Bullet is the new President of the Vicious Reapers MC and Dakota came to town to settle her father’s estate. Dakota doesn’t realize it but she is the princess of the MC after her mother hide her within a cult.
As much as Bullet wants to hate Dakota, there is so much more between them that draws them together. I loved the push pull that was between them especially with Dakota trying to get a hold on what life is like not only in the real world but within the biker’s world as well.
Fantastic book and I cannot wait to read the next book in this series.
Ouch! Very shaky ⭐⭐⭐ The plot is such a huge MC cliché that ⭐⭐ are well deserved.
So we have: ONS, insta love/lust, BBS, huge OW drama in a person of a ... club w.ore obviously! , a kidnapping, a secret daughter, a cult/ commune, a bit of trafficking / pimping minors, found family, h is almost a virgin & H is a new MC Prez. Oh, and he's big on growling, ”you're mine", "you can't leave" ....
There is nothing original here. Not a single thing! MEH!

This book was exactly what I was looking for. Something with A bit of drama , but not a very complex read. Quick and easy. More of a palate cleanser, lol. Looking forward to reading more in the series.
I’m always looking for more MC Romance series to try, and I think I’ll keep reading this one. I enjoyed WILD RIDE, because it was hot, fast, and full of soap-opera moments. Dakota grew up in a sex cult and left when the members started to say that she was old enough to join in the activities. But in the several years since, she has isolated herself, and she really has very little idea as to how the outside world works. So occasionally she comes across like a concussed lamb, but I think that on the whole, her naïveté is accurately portrayed. She gets a letter from a lawyer saying that the father she never met has died and left her a legacy. Unbeknownst to her, he was the president of a motorcycle club with some less-than-legal dealings. Bullet is now the president of that club, and he resents an unknown woman swooping in to take his predecessor’s legacy. He’s a real rhymes-with-dasshole about it. Until he gets his hands on her and some parts in her and she must have a magical… because suddenly he’s okay with it and decides she’s his. He’s a total Alphahole, but still, there’s a certain Je ne sais quoi about him that makes him irresistible. There’s plenty of other woman drama because Bullet was a total man ho-ho-ho, and there’s a scene that could possibly be triggering because Bullet and Dakota have a very intense relationship, full of drama, and with a love in the J/P, can’t-live-without-you vein. It’s hypnotic, and honestly, there’s characters had me rooting for them so hard that I was looking right past all the red flags that this miiiight not be a healthy relationship. It was written that well. Book is NOT SAFE OTHER TRIGGERS are violence, language, sex, alcohol, and abduction. Heat is EXPLICIT. TROPES include Age Gap, Alphahole, Club Princess, Club President, Ebil Cult, Enemies to Lovers, Instalove, J/P Hero, Opposites Attract, OWD, and Reformed Man Ho-Ho-Ho.

This book couldn’t have a more suitable title! This was exactly what the title indicates – a wild ride! If I had to sum it up in one sentence, I would say that this is a dedication to fate and how past tragedies can lead to present and future happiness. Bullet and Dakota are amazing MCs. Flawed and real. Bullet is rough around the edges, but has a heart of gold and a moral compass. He becomes president of the Vicious Reapers MC when the former one, Shade, passes away. Dakota is Shade’s long lost daughter. Her existence comes as a shock to everyone in Vicious Reapers MC, but hits Bullet the most, as Shade was a father figure to him and at first he sees Dakota as an intruder. But even as he is enraged, he can’t help but be drawn to her. Dakota grew up in a dubious commune in Oregon and even if she left at some point, she is still unaware of how the real world works. She never knew a thing about her father, except his name. That, until she receives a letter from a law firm, informing her that she is her father’s sole heiress, in Thunder Rock city. So she gets there and that’s when the rollercoaster begins. Danger lurks in every corner for the entire MC and Dakota finds herself in the center of it, while trying to learn more about her father and navigate through this explosive attraction to Bullet. I loved how love and hate appear to interweave in this story. I couldn’t put the book down. For me it’s a great first book in the series. 5 stars.

Hayley Faiman the Queen of the MC romance has done it again! What a fantastic start to this new series, this book was fast paced, exciting, deliciously hot and sexy with characters that were perfectly matched. I was captivated from the start and I could not put it down. I absolutely loved Bishop and Dakota, they were completely different but still fit so well together. The chemistry between them was off the carts and electrifying. I enjoyed the progress of their relationship, it went quickly from hate to something more. Their push and pull was intense and the banter between them was funny and sassy. I liked that Dakota, in spite of her lack of world experience was fierce and could hold her own. Her fiery attitude definitely challenged Bishop. She had a backbone and stood up to him when needed and did not give in easily to his charm. Now Bishop was definitely the sexy, alpha male, which was hot af, his possessiveness and dominance definitely could set a girl's undies on fire. I adored how he was protective over Dakota . Even though he was the president of the club he did have a moral compass which was admirable. The plot was intriguing with a lot of action packed moments and the other members of the club were very interesting. This book definitely set the stage perfectly for the rest of the series. Hayley Faiman once again gave us a book that sent me on a wild ride that I didnt want to get off and that thoroughly enjoyed.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.
This is the story of Dakota and Bullet. I have to warn you that this book is such a good read, that you will not be able to lay it down. Hayley has spent her life in a cult thanks to her mother. She really didn't know her father but has to go to where he lived to settle his estate. However, she is about to find out that her father was the president of a motorcycle club. You have to keep in mind that all of this is news to her from where she was her entire life. She is still trying to figure out what living in the "real" world is like. Dakota finds himself as the new president of the Vicious Reapers. He has a heart of gold, is rough around the edges. When Shade passed away that made him the president and he is about to meet his long lost daughter. She should have been the princess of the MC but she never got the opportunity to know her father really, because of her mom. He is less than thrilled that this woman Dakota is here in his life, since Shade was like a father to him. He wants to hate her but somewhere along the way , whether he will admit it or not, she is becoming more and more to him. I loved every second of this book. I love the push and pull and banter between these two. I loved seeing the world though the eyes of someone not raised in it. But most of all I loved the entire story and couldn't put it down.
If there's a genre that can make me read without even thinking of it, it's MC books. I adore this genre, and to top it all, Haykey Faiman was the writer. Awesome, right? Her writing is brutal and will make you shake with fear and hot with... Wild Ride is her latest release, and it's the first book from the Vicious Reapers MC series. This book explores the lives of Bullet and Dakota. Dakota never knew her father. According to her mother, he was a mean and vicious man whom they had to run away from. When Dakota is contacted regarding her father's will... Bullet became the Vicious president the day his former president died. He saw him as a father, and when some girl comes to take what's his... Dayum...Dayum... what a wild ride this was. I knew that coming from this author that the book would be amazing, but dayum, it was so much more. It started slowly, but then all hell broke loose. She's innocent in all this, and he's becoming the devil who will try to corrupt her. Loved it. Once I started to read it, it was impossible to stop. You'll get hooked and will stop a chapter wondering what will happen in the next one, and then... the end will appear. What started as hate soon evolved into something more, and sparks will fly. Of course that danger lurked in every corner, and I felt for the characters. If you want a book that will take you to another level, this is it. Loved it and I can't wait for the next one. Amazing Hayley, as always, it was brutal.

Summary: FMC discovers that she has been left an inheritance by her late father. A father that she has never met. Her father was the President of a motorcycle club. The MMC is Vice President of the club. He has had a father son relationship with her father. Upon the father's death the MMC learns about the FMC and hates her. Why? He hates her because he doesn't know the story of why she has not been in her dad's life. Even with these he can't seem to stay away from her. The FMC was raised in a commune is naive to the ways of the world. HEA
Review: This book was a recommendation in one of my FB Groups and I really wanted to like it. But I could not get pass the MMC. He is an unlikeable and I didn't see any real redemption arc. The FMC suffers from BBS (repeatedly). I did like her friend but wish she had pushed the FMC more to get her to leave.
Get ready for the Vicious Reapers and of course we start off with the president, Bullet.
He’s new to the role though and though he is happy to have the job he doesn’t like how he had to get there. Losing the man who was like a father to him, has been beyond difficult but when a daughter shows up in town that belongs to his late mentor, he is shocked and angry. Dakota is not everything she appears to be though, and has many of her own questions she wants answered. This group is not completely your typical MC and Dakota is definitely not your typical heroine. She has a past full of twists, secrets and things that even she has to learn along the way. Bullet is definitely a bit rough around the edges, and has his moments of redemption, while also having times where readers will think he deserves some consequences for his words or actions, but in the end he is the man that Dakota has fallen for…Dakota has a lot to learn about life despite her age, and she is definitely quite a mix of sweet and scary sometimes. But she is a strong women, which is what an MC woman needs to be. I look forward to more from this series to see where the Vicious Reapers take us!
Dakota was raised in a commune in Oregon, her mother always said her father was a monster. When her mother died she left the commune, she had to learn about how the rest of the world was. She is notified by an attorney, that her father died and left her all his assets. Her father, Shade, was president of the Vicious Reapers MC. She heads to Thunder Rock City to find out more about him and settle the estate.
Bullet is now the Pres, he was the VP under Shade and loved him like a father. He is surprised when he finds out he has a daughter and he left her everything. Bullet does not treat her nice, he is down right rude in the beginning but he cannot help but find her attractive.
There story is a rollercoaster ride, he does some things that should make her walk way. She is just to sweet and innocent, that it takes sometime for him to redeem himself in my book. I cannot wait for the next in the series.

Wow, this novel really was a wild ride. So good! I have read other novels by this author and really enjoyed them. This novel did not disappoint. From the first chapter this novel captured my attention and held on to it for the entire novel. I love a good MC novel and this novel just grabbed ahold of me and held on tight for a wild ride. I loved Bullet and Dakota. Their chemistry was so good! My heart hurt for Dakota and how she finally discovers who her long lost father is and finds out he has passed away. I loved her tenacity in trying to discover about what happened to him and about his life in the MC. I loved Dakota and Bullet together. I loved watching them both lower their defenses and walls and fall in love despite everything going on around them. Once I started reading this novel I stayed up late into the night to finish because I just had to know what was happening next. So so good! I can hardly wait to see what this author has coming next.
She grew up, never knowing her father, so when she got the letter informing her that her father has passed and left her something she is surprised and curious. When she gets there, she runs up against Bullet, he is the new president of the MC. Her father belonged to. He is suspicious of her, as he was like a son to her old man, and he was t expecting her. There is drama in the MC to navigate, which brings danger to everyone. In the beginning, he looks at her as an inconvenience, but soon their chemistry consumes them both. They have to navigate the past, and the present to find out if they have a future. He is a strong alpha male who has met his match in this fiery woman. Their passion is combustible and once they stop fighting each other it will burn them up. Hot and steamy. A great start to a new series!.

The first of this new series and holy heck was this freaking amazing. Dakota found out who her father was after he died and now has come to town not to see just what he left her, but what she could learn about him and her history. The last thing she was expecting was Bullet, the new president of the MC. Bullet isn't happy about Dakota or the circumstances that brought her to town, but his plan is to get her to sell her shares and then run her out of town. Falling for the girl that has the power to change everything wasn't in the cards, but Bullet can't resist. Will the naive Dakota stay after she learns the ins and outs of an MC, or will she run back to Oregon.
This story had me hooked, I was invested from the first page and it kept me sucked in till the very last word. We are getting some drama, danger, violence, naughty bits that are freaking on fire. I give this 5 stars.
This is the 1st book in the Vicious Reapers MC series featuring the fast-paced intense page-turning steamy MC romance between Bullet and Dakota. Dakota grew up on a commune and she never knew who her father was so when she learns that she's inherited a house and some other property from her father after he passed away she's curious. Dakota decides to go there where she meets the new President of the MC Bullet/Bishop and he's very suspicious of Dakota especially since he was really close to her dad and no one knew that she was coming. At first he considers her to be a bother but they say opposites attract for a reason and the chemistry between is explosive which takes them on a wild ride. You really need to read this fast-paced intense page-turning steamy MC romance to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book and I'm looking forward to the next book in this intense series.

This is the first book in a new series and this is Bullet and Dakota’s story. Dakota was brought up in a commune, and knows nothing about her father, whom her mother just said he was evil. Dakota finds out that her father has left her his shares in the club businesses, and rest of his estate. Bullet is now the president of his MC and is not happy about Dakota showing up as he never knew that their deceased president had a child, and he wants her gone. This is a well written easy to read, action packed, emotionally charged story, with family, friendships, grumpy / sunshine, drama, danger, suspense, intrigue, revelations, complex characters, humor, witty banter, opposites attract, and love, which leads to an entertaining, tragic, twisted, and unpredictable, dark romance. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
Wild Ride is just that one wicked wild ride. I had to put this book down a few times while reading for all the intense emotions I felt. Bullet “Bishop” is in sorrow/pain after the death of his MC President Shade. He now has a target for all the emotions he is feeling the daughter Shade never told anyone about. He is out for punishment and punish her he does. Dakota has lived an unconventional life, she is sheltered. There is pain, heartache and loneliness in her life. Finding out her father Shade has left her his home and part of his business gives her the drive to find her place in life. Dakota and Bullet are both explosive together, the combustible force that drives them together also devastates them. So much happens in this book, it is a powerful read.

Whew! This was one Wild Ride! This is the first book in the new series, Vicious Reapers MC, by Hayley Faiman.
Ok usually I’m not one for hate f**ks right off the bat (I mean…what is there to hate at the beginning?) but Hayley set this up so perfectly! I freaking loved how worked up Bullet was over Dakota showing up. And sweet Dakota, she’s one of my favorite FMCs from Hayley Faiman. She was so innocent, but totally fierce and strong. When she was reading her dad’s letters I was just crying along with her.
As with all of Hayley’s MC romances be ready for plenty of steamy scenes as well as the fantastic found family aspect.
I’m so excited for this new series!
Thank you to Hayley Faiman for the ARC of this book.
Wow! Hayley totally brought it with this one. The title, Wild Ride, really lives up to its name. For the first quarter I wanted strangle Bullet, then I falling in love with this man. His hostility towards Dakota was unwarranted and I hated when he actually stood there and defended Exorcist. That b**** needed to be dealt with a lot sooner than she was. Ohhh the angst and frustration I was feeling when it came to that woman made me want to jump in the book and smack the shit out of her. So needless to say I was smiling and wanting to high five Dakota for doing that. I loved Dakota so much. She wasn’t from the MC world, but holy hell did she fit in. She was made for it and she was made to stand beside Bullet as his woman. Reading that letter from her dad and knowing how much he loved her and didn’t give her up or stop looking for her had tears in my eyes and I hurt for Dakota. This was so incredibly good. The drama, the suspense, the ow bullshit with Exorcist- it all had me excitedly flipping the pages. And that epilogue had me wanting to cry with Shocker walking Dakota down the aisle, and I loved that instead of flowers Dakota carried a certain bundle of joy- and the name was precious and perfect. Congrats Hayley on another excellent book and I can’t wait for Dakota’s aunt Posey’s story next in Wild Night!
An MC book you don't want to miss... Read it today! I couldn't put this book down. If you enjoy MC books, you'll love this one. The characters were fantastic and so vivid. Dakota is 30 years old when she gets an envelope and is afraid to open it, but she does and finds out her father is dead. The father she never knew. She realizes there is a lot of unknown, and she wants answers. So, she heads across the country to the MC where her father was President. She knew nothing about him except what her mother had told her. Bullet is now President of the MC and is not happy she is coming. He's arrogant, and it's his club now, so he doesn't want her there. The story is fast-paced, with hot MC members and a good-looking President. You don't want to miss this book, one of Hayley's best books.
I love how this authors not afraid to get dark with her books but this series is less so than some of her others, but has such dark undertones
I normally hate a truly naive FMC but the way this storyline was built up made this an enjoyable journey as she opened up and learnt about the world around her
I loved how the MMC fell hard and though he did his typical alpha MC prez thing at the beginning (she’ll get over it etc) he quickly recognised that wouldn’t work and tried harder to see things from her perspective
I think I’m going to really enjoy this series and look forward to the other brothers falling just as easily.

Yay a new MC series from one of my favorite authors!!!!
This one tells the story of Dakota and Bullet. Ya see,Bullet just became the President of said MC. His predecessor, mentor but more importantly, his father figure,Shade, has recently passed away. Come to find out Shade had a long lost daughter,Dakota, that only one or two of the MC members knew about. By the way, Shade left everything he had to hide daughter. Dakota was raised to believe her father was a monster. At least that’s what her mother called him. Dakota just wants to know about the man she never met. And boy does she learn about him. In walks Bullet…… attitude and all. Then the good stuff happens. And I can’t wait for you to read all that happens! You will not be able to put it down.
Dakota never knew her father, had been told he was a monster and not to look for him; and you should always listen to your mother - right? When she's told that she's the sole beneficiary of his estate she's confused and surprised; even more so when she finds out he was president of the Vicious Reapers MC. In turn, she comes as a great surprise to the MC. Bullet, formerly vice, now president, knew nothing about a daughter and she's not welcome. Neither of these two want anything to do with each others lives until they meet and the attraction is immediate.
A good story and plotlines. An easy, but in parts, uncomfortable read, and one that had me hooked from beginning to end.

Brilliant narration from Sierra Kline and Jameson Greene
W meet Dakota and Bullet. Lets putting this mildly these two are polar opposites. Dakota world before she the MC was one of a commune and never living in the outside world. When she finds out about her dead dad the president of a MC she goes to see it the club. Bullet is now the president of the MC. Oh he is not happy when the old president’s daughter turns up. He doesn’t make her life easy. The man is layered. Hard from the outside and softy in the inside. Loved how we see Dakota grow and the MC becomes a true family.
This book has it all. Steam, action, distrust, family and drama. Perfect.

Dakota grew up never knowing her father, until one day she gets a letter telling her he has passed away, leaving her his estate. So she travels cross country to find out who he was. She was not expecting to find out he was a biker, let alone president of the Vicious Reapers Motorcycle Club. Bullet is the new President of the MC and he is not happy when Dakota shows up. He hates her instantly, but can't fight his attraction to her. These two are like fire & water, their chemistry is off the charts. This book was full of angst. I wasn't a fan of Bullet at the beginning of the book, and didn't like how he handled a few situations with Exorcist. Otherwise I liked this book.
Bullet and Dakota meet when she learns that her father left her his shares in the club's business and the rest of his estate. Bullet is very disturbed by this because he didn't know that Shade had a child and now, she was coming to upset the apple cart. Their first meeting had sparks igniting and feelings clashing. This thrilling story had me all caught up in their drama and cheering them on to finding their happiness. It is a well written story that is descriptive, with complex characters that grabs your emotions from page to page.

This was my first introduction to this author and I found myself totally absorbed into this story. Dakota has come to discover truths about the father she never was allowed to know. Bullet has taken over as the VRMC president. Shall we say their first meeting did not go so well. Dakota was naive but sure had tenacity. Bullet for all his growliness fell hard after he got his head screwed on right. Wonderful supporting characters, plot twists, MC vibe, sadness, revelations, danger, found family and so much more kept me engaged to the end. Cannot wait to read more of this author’s work!
